Very professional! Truck works great again! Roy runs an amazing service center that is desperately needed in the Reno-Sparks area! My whole family uses Roy s Automotive Service Center, and I recommend them to all of my friends that are needing their cars serviced or repaired.

There's a reason that they're the top rated mechanic in Reno. Super friendly customer service. It was easy to get scheduled with them, they took care of my car, didn't overcharge at all, did a full inspection and even mentioned my cars in great shape- unlike a lot of other mechanics that recommended work that's really not needed. They were even able to get my car back to me the same day I dropped it off.

Drop off was easy. They sent me a report about my car via text and it was informative and had photos (which I really appreciated!). They gave me some bad news, but were very empathetic and helpful in coming up with a solution. When I went to pick my car up, they already had a quote printed for some other work that needed done. I m sure I ll be taking my car back to them.

Complete peace of mind doing business here. Was out of town and needed a new clutch and a host of other things. Roy Fosters had it done quick, reasonably priced and done well. Highly recommend and will be coming back here exclusively.

These guys are the absolute best! I cannot say enough nice things about them! They're kind, honest and know what they're doing. They make me feel like family! I Highly recommend them to anybody and everybody! They're the best

Staff is always thorough about checking your car and explaining what they are fixing. The customer service is excellent here. I never feel like I'm going to get ripped off because I'm a woman unlike other places I've gone. They will work on a car with a hybrid battery in it.

Due to my neglecting my Jeep I needed a lot of things fixed. They took great care of my Jeep and I highly recommend Roy Foster s for any repairs needed. They sent a detailed link to me of what needed to be done with pictures of the problems ie oil leaks, spark plugs, belt, etc. I appreciate the shop from the front desk to all the competent mechanics.

I appreciate the expertise and knowledge of the mechanics at Roy Foster's. And if the suggestions for some repairs might not be as urgent as others, there's no pressure to do it NOW!! Great service, expert work and even on my 1999 Ford F150 they are always able to come up with parts and the ability to "fix it". You guys rock!!

Highly recommend and will be coming back for all my future vehicle maintenance etc. Fixed my gas door for a fair price where some other places would have over charged. The updates and recommendation for your vehicle is also a great touch that they have Fear not if you need your vehicle serviced go full send RFA!

1996 Chevy S10 runs good, but wasn't stopping without killing the engine, making a hissing sound indicating a brake booster is junk. Got an inspection finding a few other problems. The booster replaced and problems solved. Brakes work great, engine keeps running at stop signs and with a manual transmission, 4.3 engine take off is nice. Very happy with the deal. The booster solved a lot of other engine things that happen with a vacuum leak. Was glad I didn't have to change it. Them S10's have no room at all to work on anything under the hood. I have taken my car in twice and both times the customer service was great. Communication was great, not only over the phone but with the website as well. Both my wife and I agree this is the mechanic shop for both our vehicles and have earned our business anytime we need maintenance on our cars.

I have had a wonderful experience every visit. They are my best Buds. They are courteous and efficient and could not ask for more friendly and expert workers. They know the car and k ow what it needs. Thank you all very much.. when we ran into probems, they kept at it untill it was solved with the best service I could ask for. Thank yo all at Roy Fosters.

They might know what they are doing with a normal ice automobile but I do not recommend bringing a hybrid to them. I took my Prius in for an engine no-start. They told me it wa sthe fuel pump and replaced it for $1300. After that it still was not starting and they said it was due to the Hybrid battery now being dead. I paid to have one installed and it still did not run. They say (and there is a code) for a transaxle malfunction. If all they do is throw parts at the car until it runs then I could have done that myself. I am out $3100 and have a car that does not run. UPDATE: To answer the reponse: That is only partially true. I did not get the battery from you because Brad stated that you could not/would not. I was forced to purchase the battery elsewhere from a vendor that Brad suggested. When I first brought the car the battery was not depleted and still had power (not much).

These guys are the best in Reno. They stand behind their work and they don't replace anything that doesn't need to be replaced. I trust them to take care of my mothers vehicle. Thank you Jackie and Roy

I had the opportunity to work with Nick, one of the automotive mechanics here. He went above and beyond with helping me out and I can say confidently that he is an honest and great person to work with. He took ample time to help me figure out the issues with my car and gave me great recommendations. He also keeps up with his knowledge on automotive experience on the latest and greatest. Hard to know where to go with an old car. My 01 4runner had its 4wd go out right as winter started. So far so good with the 4wd, but the service was great and I appreciate the online and text updates from Roy Foster's. This will be where I go for help in the future.

Drove 2002 Subaru Outback to Reno and discovered coolant leak. Matt & service technicians at Roy Foster's were able to inspect and determine problem. Parts were ordered on Friday and radiator r/r was performed Monday and vehicle ready. Drove back over Donner Tuesday and checked performance and repair. Everything looked great and no issues. Roy Foster s always takes great care of us. They are thorough and honest and keep excellent records. They walk you through what they found with your car and explain things so you fully understand and if there is anything that you are watching for they clearly explain what that is and when it becomes urgent. They never try to upswell you or try to convince you to do something before you need to but also have safety as a priority. They always show they care about you as a customer and as a person. I bring both my vehicles here and will continue to do so.

It s really hard to find anyone willing to work on hybrid vehicles. The guys got me in right away when I had waited two months to get into a dealer. They finished my complicated issue in a day and I was able to get back to normal. Really appreciate the customer service and hard work.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

My car broke down in Reno, so I had to have it towed over to Roy's where they worked on it for the next few days. Communication was great, each member of the team was able to give me updates about the problems with my car. I live 3.5hrs away, which they took into consideration as they were working on my vehicle and did their absolute best to get it back up and running as fast as possible. A great experience overall!!

I wasn t expecting the service to go as well as it did! One thing I will say tho is that it took 2 days and they had plenty of stalls open for my car. If it was because curtain people weren t there i understand but have me bring it in that day. And an other thing is they stripped some bolt or something and charged me for it when I m not the one who messed it up. But overall 5 star service!

Was charged $1400 for repairs, my car broke down a couple weeks after and I had to get a new one. When I looked back at their electronic report of repairs they did, I noticed a lot of things deleted. When I took my old car to another mechanic, they confirmed that work was actually NOT done on my car. Never coming back !

Very clean shop with all ASE certified techs/mechanics, several with decades of experience and decades as employees of Roy Foster's Automotive. Service advisors are also very knowledgeable and experienced. Recent service on Honda CRV was timing chain replacement, valve adjustment and oil change. I brought my car in for an EVAP diag/repair this week and coordinated it with Nick. He went above and beyond to explain the plan and what needed to be done. At the end of the visit, he ran through the entire diag with me and let me know what else to watch out for with possible upcoming problems based on what they had seen. Highly recommend if you re looking for a mechanic in Reno! Thanks Nick!

Had an issue with my AC unit and wanted to avoid taking it to the dealership. The guys at Roy Fosters found that I had two small gaskets that were just old and worn out and was causing the Freon to leak. The parts were $.30 each to repair with a respectable amount of labor. I was so thrilled that it was fixed for so little. I will definitely keep these guys on file. They were also SUPER nice. I had a wonderful experience.

We took our Ford F150 to Roy Foster's to have a few items repaired and they did an outstanding job. They immediately diagnosed and fixed the cause of a loud knocking behind our dashboard and did a thorough review of the current state of our truck, working with us to bring the truck up-to-date on several items. We are very pleased not only with the work done but also with our interactions with the Roy Foster's team. Very professional and polite. We will be return customers. Thank you!
