Top tear auto center, they deserve more than 5 stars!We are from out of town and on our way out of town we ran into a car emergency; no other shop was able to assist us. Jim and Precision Auto immediately jumped to help us and even drove to find the part needed. After a few hard working hours with our Jeep, they were able to confidently fix the issue and safely get us back on the road. We highly recommend this auto center for their professionalism and hospitality for us in this time of need.

I had a bunch of routine maintenance performed on my Tacoma by Jim and his team.This was my first experience with Precision Auto.The reasons why I will be a returning customer are as follows:1. The precision auto price was better than the dealer price.2. The work performed from what I can tell is flawless.3. I am a picky and annoying type of customer yet I was treated with a lot of respect and kindness.I would not hesitate to recommend Precision Auto to my friends and family.

Thank you guys at Precision Auto. Had my engine light come on while driving the other day. They got me right in to diagnoss. Then scheduled my repair ASAP and got me right back on the road.

Women beware!!! I had the most awful experience here. I took my classic vehicle here for new tires and a decent amount of work. I was constantly calling for updates and barely got called back. He had my car for over a month! When I got my car back, I could see that it had been driven around for errands. There was an empty Starbucks cup and a timing belt in the back. I don t drink coffee at all. Also, my drivers seat was FILTHY from having a dirty mechanic joyriding my whip. I also asked for white wall tires, and when I picked her up it was just regular tires. He didn t even bother to call and tell me he can t find any whitewalls, so he just took it upon himself to put basic tires on instead of asking me. I spent a lot of money and was treated like I was some kind of incompetent idiot. I honestly feel that I would have been treated better and communicated with if I was a man. This was the worst experience I have ever encountered with a mechanic.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Discovered a large amount of water on my passenger front floorboard and thought it was my heater core. Quite the job and would have cost me up to $4,000 to repair depending on who was doing the work. Jim came in at about $3,000 significantly less than competitors. Luckily Jim was able to diagnose it as another smaller issue that just caused a similar symptom. This smaller issue was an easy fix and I was out for a couple hundred bucks only instead of the much larger bill with much more involved labor. Honest guy doing honest work and we'll shoot it to you straight.

My engine light was on and they replaced my Evap Canister on my Jaguar, after the replacement I haven t had no issues. They provide amazing service and communicate very well. From start to finish they did amazing.

This place gave me an honest assessment of work that needed to be done that was in line with the findings from another shop but literally HALF the price. The service tech was very informative and spoke in laymen's terms for me to easily understand. Turnaround time was also much shorter than what I was being quoted at the first shop which saved me even more on car rental. The work completed resolved the issue and I am happy with the repair. Will definitely be using this company again for any service needs.

Great & Honest Service!I met Jim years ago when I took my car to him for a 2nd opinion. He was honest with then and to this day is honest whether my car "really needs it" or if I can get by a little longer. I love that the shop is transparent on the cost of parts/labor. Because of their honesty, I am a loyal customer and recommend them to others. Laurie is also VERY sweet and so accommodating to help figure out solutions.

Brought my car in for an oil change and asked Jim to investigate a strange noise I was hearing. He figured it out right away and ordered the parts. Once installed, no more noise. It was hands down the best and most painless auto shop experience I've ever had. I will be recommending them to all my friends and family.

I had my alternator go out while driving down Mt. Rose highway. It took over 15 hours for my vehicle to be towed to Precision Auto. I had to have my vehicle fixed asap and Precision Auto got me in immediately. They only had an hour or so before closing and they accomplished this task in a short period of time so that I could use my vehicle the next day. The staff is extremely friendly and competent. I would highly recommend them for any of you mechanical needs. Thank you so much, William V.

These guys are the best. I brought my 2001 Jeep Cherokee in for a whole range of problems. They gave me a rundown of what was critical and what could wait. They were very friendly and professional through the entire process. About 1 month in, and its running like a dream! They even deep cleaned the whole engine compartment and undercarriage. I'm never going anywhere else again!

Overcharged big time for serp belt replacement job not done correctly so immediately broke. Gas tank emptied while parked in lot. Rip off place unless you bring your hot rod in with money to burn. No conscience owner.Update 2022. We were in over 2 years ago. I m not telling you my name. You promised both my military vet term ill husband and me you d do a good job. You didn t even install the correct serpentine belt so he broke down again. You won t refund us the over $1,000 you charged us over 2 yrs ago even though he immediately broke down again. Jack replaced the radiator, water pump, and thermostat on my Jeep Cherokee. He also changed the front and rear differential fluids, changed the transmission and transfer case fluids, and front brake rotors. He charged what I felt was a very fair price and had all of this work done within 48 hours on very short notice. I have recommended him to friends and family members. He has done good work for everyone who I have sent his way, and I will take my vehicle to him anytime there s a job I don t want to do or don t have time to do. I m always amazed at how busy he is and how fast he works.

Jim and crew at Precision Auto keep our Fleet of Vans running tip top. And they are the most honest people you will ever meet, which is so important when your trusting someone with one of your biggest assets. I would recommend Precision to anyone who needs a good Mechanic

Have you got a car problem I would take it to precise Auto Center, the owner it's fair compared to all of the other Auto Centers, his mechanics are top-notch, and well-educated and their job, you can trust Precision Auto Center with your car and your budget, but of course the only got to see him once, or he'll have your car running the way you want it the way you need it so there's no reason to bring it back unless you have other problems. As myself I highly recommend this man ability to fix your car, as if it was his car. You'll be happy with Precision Auto Center

Honest mechanic. Can't say much about his actual work because he didn't actually work on my car, but he sent me to the right place to get some technical electric work done. 4 stars as opposed to 5 because he said my car had "custom" electronics, but it's a stock jeep with some connectors replaced with wire crimps.
