I've had my car into three different shops and no one could figure out what the problem was. The mechanic at G K did . Too many people call themselves mechanics these days, when all they are is code readers. It's nice to know that GK smog has an actual mechanic that can think through the problem. Thanks GK. I am will be using them again.

This is my usual smog shop when I am in Reno, I have been using them for years, very good guys and honest service. Also very affordable! God bless

They're always very quick and professional, and because they stay open later than most other places I can actually make it after I get off work rather than going in on my weekend

Very fast and friendly service. I didn't have to wait in any line and not only did I get I get my car smog tested, but I was also able to re register my car. All of this happened in less than 20 minutes AND he opens earlier than all the other places, so I was able to drop my kids off at school and stop by there omw home. I plan on coming back here for any of my future needs.

This place is really good been coming here for years bringing customers cars the only issue is that guy named Andy has a really really really really really really big chip on his shoulder he needs to get laid or something but I guess when you're that ugly that's hard to do that's why there's hookers maybe his boss needs to pay for one so that guy can smile a little

100% recommend this place to anyone and everyone, They are incredible and go above and beyond to help their costumers! Thank you so much to John and his coworker today they really helped us and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed done and without having to wait till Monday.Thank you so much again!

Great place for a quick and cheap smog. Dudes are chill about everything. Use the coupon on their website. Sometimes the guy tells me I don t need the coupon, other times it tells me I do. Just show them the coupon on your phone. The only real battle could be if there are three or four people in line ahead of you, there isn t much place for a queue, so you end up on the street.

With inflation going up if you visit their web page you could get a coupon for 16 dollars. They do get super busy at times and with them been on 2nd st it's kinda hard to wait on a busy street. Still the cheapest in town

Definitely not stoked with my experience here. I showed them the coupon that was supposed to drop the smog down to $16, which it did.. BUT they ended up charging me an extra $5 to do the registration there, bringing the price up to the normal price. Normally I wouldn't care, but my husband just went in there a few days before me to smog and register his car, and they didn't charge him an extra $5 to register it. Definitely don't recommend this place, seems like they really like taking advantage of people based off gender.

I have been using GK Smog for the past 20 years. A friend told me about GK Smog when I first moved here. The price is great, the service is quick. I am able to go early in the day, and during the week, before a line forms. Love this place.

Fast... friendly... inexpensive! Have 30 min lunch and was able to drive there, wait in line, get smog, stop at the store for a redbull, and make it home and back to work on time! Impressive! The parking/waiting line is a nightmare though. I almost got into it with another customer because he thought I was cutting him in line when I pulled in just to get out of the road.

Have been going here for years - super fast and easy! Price is very reasonable (~$20) and even cheaper with their online coupons. They are also really nice (maybe not the most talkative if you need that) - definitely recommended.One reason I felt compelled to write this is how nice they've always been - quick service, really nice, and very cheap prices. Not sure why the other reviews are making personal attacks at them . . .

These people are very good. I have been using their services last couple of years. Definitely they deserve the good recognition. You will be in and out very shortly. They are efficient for what they do. Recommend to go there, no reason to pay a higher price to somewhere else. Close to DMV and also offers registration there. While their price is pretty cheap, definitely not their services. Best value for your money. Thank you guys for making things easier.
