Would have left a 0 stars but I guess google thinks they are worthy of a 1 star. Absolute terrible experience. They were tasked with painting a gas lid cover and putting on my car. They said it would take 2 days tops. Now 7 days later still not fixed. Do not take your car here unless you have extended rental car coverage while car is in shop.

Just wanted to say, that the employees here are amazing. Helpful and kind and follow up on things. They even contacted insurance and helped speed along a process that was taking so long because of another repair shop. Don t want to have to use them but will if I ever damage my vehicle again.

Really regret going with these guys for my insurance repair. Make sure if they give you a time frame, you call every day to be sure they are actually making progress. Several weeks were wasted because they couldn't get a hold of the insurance and didn't think to tell me this fact. I spent thousands on rental cars, may have well just paid for the repair myself.

It took almost three years to get all of the work completed/fixed, finally get my car back and there are scratches DEEP in the paint. Several things that were supposed to be fixed from the first time they had the car are still not fixed. We highly advise you stay away from Dent Doctor and Alfred Gill's other business, VIP Collision. This has been a nightmare, and it's still not over because now we have to take the car to be repainted, as well as have dents and chips that their employees put on the car (and were supposed to fix) removed/fixed. Got the run around every time we called. We live in another town and can't just drop in any time. They couldn't even be bothered to call us when the car was finally "ready".All around garbage experience. Stay FAR AWAY

Dent Doctor had my vehicle in and out in 3 days. After the initial estimate on a Wednesday I was able to schedule an appointment the next Wednesday and it was completed that Friday. They were not only prompt but professional and courteous as well. My vehicle came out looking like new. This is my second time using Dent Doctor and I was just as pleased the first time. I have found a body shop I can trust!

I reached out to Dent Dr. in June of 2022 to ask if they were a Tesla certified repair shop as I need some body work repair work. They claimed to be a Tesla approved collision center so I asked for an estimate of repair work. I then contacted Tesla after speaking with a friend of mine who also owned a Tesla, stated that there was only one collision repair shop approved by Tesla in the Reno/Sparks area and that was McCarran Auto Body. I never heard back from Dent Dr. nor did I contact them as I went to McCarran Auto Body to obtain and estimate from them and to schedule a date for repair work. Since McCarran Auto Body is the only approved repair shop they were book months out. I then noticed that Dent Dr. had submitted for payment through my insurance Safeco and had been paid out $3,310.74 on July 13, 2022. They requested payment from my insurance company for work they never performed nor where authorized to perform. After the initial contact with Dent Dr. in June of 2022 they never reached back out to me. Nothing was agreed upon nor was any appointments set up for repair. They had never seen my car nor took pictures of my car. I reached out to my insurance company as soon as I learned that payment had been issued to them to let them know that should have never happened and ever since there has been many attempts by phone, emails and in person made to recover this payment. I had to finally have my vehicle repaired by McCarran Auto body where I had to pay the $3,310.74 out of pocked and Dent. Dr. has completely avoided the return of this payment. On all the attempts to recover my insurance or I have been told that they would need to speak with the owner and get back to us which never happened. I finally went in, in person on 3 different occasions and was told the same thing. During my last attempt they asked to take pictures of my VIN# for what reason I do not know since nothing has been taken care of do date.

Let's start with service requested so I showed up there and I asked them if they can give me an estimate on my vehicle they for sure me everything was going to be good amazing too good to be true. Dropped my vehicle off on September 29th got the runaround that the vehicle will be ready on the 20th then it downsized to the 18th then it went back up to the 20th. I show up on the 20th ready to pick up my vehicle Lindsey who works at the front counter inform me that my car was not ready and she did not know how long it would be. Then here goes Lindsay again calling me back 6 days later being October 25th saying my car is out of paint and cleaning detailing and she is available to be picked up the 26th of October awesome I show up there. The guy Alfred comes out and says yeah let me tell the guys to pull your vehicle around they ask one of the workers and he tells them unfortunately her car is not ready whoa whoa whoa Lindsay called me yesterday and told me it was ready they say let's go take a look at it OMG when I say she looked the same she looked the same way I dropped her off if not worse tell me how communication there is working.. let's go and discuss quality my vehicle is a 2012 Cadillac Escalade suv somehow they were only supposed to fix the back of the damage that was on the door the handle and the mirror somehow they took apart my inside did not put any of the pieces back made it so when I'm driving you're here every rattle Creek you hit a pothole and the door wobbles inside where it's something loose in there and the mirror they put on there is all rusted peeled in chromed off you tell me quality they left greasy fingerprints all through my interior on the roof on the side panels that I cannot get off. And the value that they're charging me 8,000 plus dollars tell me where is $8,000 worth of damage when my insurance quoted me for $4,000 worth of damage and all the things you put on my vehicle are used peeled or rusted.. let me say I am not a happy camper nor will I be a returning customer and I will try to get everybody turned away from you hopefully they don't have much as a headache as I do.Service: Body & Trim

Dent Doctor was very good to me. Super friendly staff and straight forward pricing. They reviewed the damage on my Subaru and gave me an immediate, fair quote. Now my Subaru is fixed and it looks like brand new!!

I have never had a worse experience with a service provider. Although Penny, the receptionist, is very nice, she did almost nothing correctly. She never transferred vehicle info from VIP Collision, Alfred's other company,; had multiple invoices, and incorrect work to be done. She never phoned when she said she would and often did not answer the phone or return a voice mail. I called constantly and went to the office when I could not get anyone. After demanding to see Alfred, he said he would personally take care of my car - didn't happen. He promised it on a Friday and when I went to the office on Monday, he wasn't there but a technician agreed to work until 7 pm so I could get the car Tuesday when I was leaving on a trip. The technician did have it ready and kudos to him!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Horrible. We booked an appointment a month in advance, they received the money to preform the job from a third party a month in advance. We showed up on the day of the appointment and were told it wouldn t be done for another 2.5 weeks. Didn t offer to give us a loner, nothing. Then we re told it ll be done in 3 days at the latest, we call, cars not ready. They told us to come back the next day and it would be done and out front. We show up, cars not done, we had to take it without the bumper on and come back for the finished bumper later. Don t waste your time here.Service: Painting

We had an accident and that day we went to this place right away(Dent Doctor) Damian was very helpful his staff came and looked at our truck right away and gave us options as to what could be done to fix our truck. After less than one week our truck was fixed and we were very satisfied with the professional results. Staff are friendly and they gave us a constant updates as to the progress of the job. We received a reasonable price quote. We would highly recommend the Dent Doctor and the staff for any body and collision work. Also there paint shop did a fantastic job.

Absolutely the worst service. Very quick to cash insurance checks but then the excuses and lies start. Week twelve of a two week repair job. Newstory every week. I highly recommend you take your business somewhere else no matter how long the waitService: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Awful service. Was told multiple times that my vehicle was completed. Received false information every time I called and got different answers from numerous of employees. Got the truck back in worse condition, destroyed the interior. Had multiple issues with lights and wiring issues when it had absolutely none when dropped off at the shop. Nice people, but wouldn t recommend this shop Junk yard .Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I have used the Dent Doctor before and so today I went there again to have my car worked on. I always receive excellent service and they do a great job for a good price. The team at Dent Doctor is awesome! They were easy to work with and really focused on what I needed. My car has a custom carbon fiber bumper that was heavily damaged in an accident. Several other shops told me it was impossible to fix and I would just have to replace it. Not only was Dent Doctor able to fix it, but they did it really fast for a reasonable price! They also fixed a big dent in my door and repainted the bumper and door. I have a unique matte black paint job and it's a very difficult paint to match, but Dent Doctor was able to get very close to a match. I am very happy with their work and service. They have definitely earned my future business.

My car has been there over 1 month. I am unsatisfied with the time they have had the car. It s been very ridiculous. I m now in line for painting. I feel the length of time I ve been there I should be first in line. I will never take my car back to dent doctor. I just went in for an estimate. Damian gave me the estimate and said he would go next door and get the part and Jason would install it for me! It was such a great experience! I was in and out quickly and paid much less then I expected!Brittany was very sweet and helpful!!I will definately use them again!! I highly recommend them!

Stopped by (no appointment or call first) just to get a price and set up and appointment to fix, a dent in the front fender, and at least a couple dozen dings in the drivers door of the '86 Benz I just bought.Not only did they jump on it right then, but the door is ABSOLUTELY smooth and the dent is completely gone! It's like they had a magic wand!Thanks guys! Your amazing!

The folks here were incredible! This was a hit and run case that we didn't want to claim on our insurance, and they happily worked with us so we could afford the repairs. The work was done on time and the car looks great! Good folks, great business!!

I posted a review about 2-3 weeks ago about the SUBPAR REPAIRS Dent Doctor done on my car. Why is my review NO LONGER POSTED? Why has it been removed? If you want to see how Dent Doctor repaired and returned my car to me contact me and I ll show you the photos of their work on my car!! Better yet I can show you in person how they did SHODDY WORK on my car!! NEVER WILL I go to this business again!! I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE!! A MONKEY CAN DO A BETTER JOB OF WHAT THEY DID TO MY CAR!!

Sure, they only charged $600 for a long dent along the side of my car. I'm not very experienced with prices on dents and scratches, but I paid it.The reason why I only rate it TWO stars is because of the fact that the lady told me that the car would be done within 2 days. After 3 days, I called and asked what the wait was. They told me that their painter was not there. Alright.After a week, I called again and they explained to me that they matched the wrong paint color, so they had to REPAINT it. And they failed to call me to let me know.$600 and a week later, my car is back.

I was very happy with the small dent repair provided by the team at the Dent Doctor. An estimate was performed last week and today the half hour repair was completed in no time. Amazing. I did not even see where the dent was located. There was a bit of paint scratched off from the initial damage but Damien added some elbow grease and viola! The dent and scratch is gone. I no longer need to look at the dent/scratch caused by someone else. Thank you to everyone at the Dent Doctor.
