Price was good, the service was good. Employees were knowledgeable, competent and expedient. Very friendly too. I'll definitely got there for my next oil and filter change.

I always take my car here for oil change and smog certification. As a woman it s refreshing to go to a place where the men are respectful and don t price gauge me or talk down to me. Second time I got my car serviced there. Guys there are professional and nice. Oil change came out cheaper then it was when I first got it changed here. The guys checked my battery when I asked because of the subs in my car, and we're all good. Thank you!

As a woman I m used to mechanics trying to take advantage of me, but this place doesn t even attempt to cover up their gender bias. I came in for an oil change, nobody else was in there. About 15 minutes later a man came in for an oil change and they stopped working on my car entirely, which I assume they did to rush his oil change ahead of mine.When I came in I was told it would take 20 minutes, it took a full hour. When it had been nearly an hour I went out to the garage to ask how much longer it would take. Once they started working on my car again it was done in 3 minutes. Why would they leave a car sitting that was nearly done? Just to mess with me? It seems pretty ridiculous to take up a bay in the garage with a car you could finish quickly. I won t be back, ever.Service: Oil change

Anthony was very helpful when I came in for an oil change. I always notice how employees interact with eachother and noticed that he was very respectful and patient with his coworkers who appeared to be in training. He was very polite to me and used my name on multiple occasions which I thought was nice. He thanked me for coming in and it was an overall great experience Anthony went above and beyond to do a great job. Thank you!Service: Oil change

Came in to get an oil change and there weren t any other cars ahead of me. It s really unacceptable how slow they were, I was in there for over an hour. Never again, just go to Jiffy Lube unless you like sitting around.Oh even better. As soon as I left I realized my air conditioning wasn t blowing cold anymore. They told me they were training a new guy and now my car is messed up. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!!Service: Oil change

Great honest service. I brought my own oil and filter (I use Shell Rotella). Guys were honest and efficient. They did not try to up-sell; when I asked them to change the air filter, they showed me the air filter and did not need changing. I do my own oil changes, but time and other forces were against me. These guys did quality honest work.

If you look at my reviews you'll see that I don't give 5 stars very often I came here the guys met me right away he talked to me about how I didn't need an oil change because of percentages so we didn't charge me anything and hes helping work on the window washer sprayer for no charge you have to come here give these guys some love. I did this review by voice text so the punctuation and spelling might be a little goofy

The tech was very honest and told me exactly what I needed. He also fixed a problem that another oil change shop had done. The oil change was performed very efficiently within 30 minutes. I will definitely be coming here for my service needs.

Way better than the dealership! I'm not sure why, but it seems like the dealerships in the area all take about 2 hours (with an appointment) to change your oil. That's insane, not to mention what they want to charge you. I got my oil changed here in 15 minutes in my Silverado. The guys did a nice job. They explained my options and didn't push anything too hard. I'll be recommending this location to my friends.

This is a shop you can trust. They take time and care on your vehicle with no high pressure to upsell. They have informed me of other services needed but again, no high pressure to do it immediately.I have taken a couple of cars there and the quality and service has always been the same.Quality service over speed is better any day.

These guys are excellent! Don't get them confused with Alpha Tire next door: this is a very different operation. I was very reluctant to go here, but after one too many bad experiences with JiffyLube (just don't!) and the dealership, I gave it a try. The Castrol Premium Lube Express team has always done a superb job on all my cars. They are fast, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and best of all, they are honest.I dropped a wad of cash on the floor last year and had no idea I had done it. They could have pocketed the money, or waited to see if I came back (I would not have). Instead, they called me and told me about it, and wouldn't even take a reward. If you are worried about finding honest people to work on your car, stop worrying: these people are the best. Their prices are fair, and they really look over my car and report all problems. They offer to fix them, but there is never a hard sell: they give me the information and let me choose. Smog checks are fast and accurate. You can get them for a few dollars cheaper elsewhere, but doing it here means you get fast and honest results.I will always bring my cars here for any service that they provide. the only way I will go anywhere else is if the Lube Express doesn't perform that service. Ignore the confused people who posted inaccurate reviews: this place is the best shop in Reno.

Super satisfied with the service. Only tried to up my service for things I truly needed (air filter had TONS of burning man dust left in it, and they asked if I would like to replace). They were fast and professional. Do NOT confuse them with the garage next door. Those guys really suck.

Excellent facility!First visit a day ago. Shop Manager Tim welcomed me, and naturally started a friendly conversation (about cars), then he proceeded to personally service my car (oil change),he worked fast, but not in a hurry, changed the oil,greased the joints,checked everything around the engine, also detected a low transmission fluid level,which he corrected. Saying it simply:Tim is of a kind of professional they don't make any more! I will be back!

This was my first visit. These are nice, direct and thorough guys. The oil change and inspection went quick. Castrol is a premium oil and our car requires synthetic so its an unavoidable reality that it costs more. And anything related to fossil fuels is going to get more and more expensive. We all know about upselling. I do not believe these guys try to upsell to pick your pocket. Part of their service is basic inspection and they tell you the results. The final decision is yours and they don't shame you if you don't buy things they spot. I think these are real guys who work hard for a living and do a good job. Well be back.

I've had my oil changed here twice now. Nothing bad to say about this place. The employee who has helped me both times is a super nice and helpful guy.

Not a very good first impression. We will be taken our vehicle elsewhere.... specifically to a place that isn't going to blow smoke up your rear. No thanks.... and the answer to your question of why my name isn't in your system is cause I went there with my fiance. We will be sticking with our own mechanic. Already tried to give you guys a shot. We won't be wasting our time again. I wasn't able to reply to your comment so I just editied my review. I am sure you'll catch it.

I tried to DIY changing a tail light and I am mechanically challenged. Therefore, I botched it so much I had to bring it to Castrol and ask that they assist me. The two that were working (sorry, didn't catch their names or positions) were super rad. I owned up to my doings and asked that they make me look like a hero to my wife! Needless to say, they helped me out, fixed my mishaps and changed both tail lights for me. They went above and beyond and I loved their professionalism.Castrol, you should be proud of your crew. Keep it up and we'll look forward to seeing next oil change.

I stopped here to have a smog check on my truck. I did not have an appointment but the man said they could get me right in and it would only take 5 minutes. He said go into the waiting area and have a cup of coffee. I was about half finished with the coffee when he came in and said the truck passed and they would notify NV dmv via posting the results on the dmv site.Very happy with the quick service!I only wish the DMV was this fast! Follow up to my review we asked if we could get a tire rotation and the owner said not a problem. We went down Saturday or only day off and they said they don't do rotations on weekends. So with the miscommunication of this building I have to drop it down to two stars. We had to go find somewhere else to do the tire rotation.

Was in and out for a full synthetic oil change in under 20 minutes - as promised! The two staff working were friendly, professional, and efficient at discussing my options and performing the service quickly and correctly.

Good/quick smog and oil. I live in the area and have been going here 3 years. They treat me better than some of the other places in the NW area. I will continue to go here. Plus they send me coupons so it is getting cheaper each visit.

I have had problems in the past with places that put too much oil during an oil change, so I explained to the attendant exactly how much oil to put in. It seemed like he dismissed my input and just said "We'll put in the right amount". Well, they did not listen to me because when I got home and checked the oil level it was much too high. I took it back to have the level lowered, but I think the damage was already done and/or it was not lowered enough. I was moving to Arizona the next day and my check engine light came on driving through the middle of Nevada. I was not able to find a mechanic until Las Vegas, where I was informed that oil had gotten into my sparkplugs and coils and they needed replacement. A simple oil change turned into a $500 repair. Let this be a warning to others. Maybe if I was male they would have listened to me more the first time.

What a rip off. Don't trust them. Got an oil change which was a little more than usual. During which the sales guy shows me my differentials, transmission, and transfer case fluids saying they are filthy and try to up sell me the $400 service. Seemed expensive so I called around and went somewhere else to get it done. They said NONE of the services were needed and showed me the clean fluids from my truck. Never going to jiffy lube again!
