I was out of town from Arizona. Spent the last 8 years building my 71 Nova. Finished the car the day before the show Hot August Nights Car Show . Two days into the show I blew the transmission up and I called every shop in Reno and Sparks. They all told me no except for Bravo Transmissions. He got me in same day. I pulled up he backed a car out of a stall and put mine in. The next day at 7 at night I was picking it up and driving it off. The car never ran so good! He did exactly what he said he was going to do. He saved my kids week by getting us back into the show. I will be sending all my transmissions to him from now on even if he is 12 hours away!Services: Transmission, Auto engine tuning

The mechanics here are respectful and very knowledgeable.Their pricing is fair and the quality of repairs is outstanding.I brought my Rav 4 for some fluid leak and they found the source of the problem rather than just replacing a seal. Car runs better now.

One of the best mechanic experiences I've had. They were very transparent and prompt. Made sure to get the job done timely and thoroughly by all means necessary. I would Definitely recommend this shop.

Made an appointment for 11. No one in office, no acknowledgment from staff. Stood outside for about a hour before leaving. Luckily, I called nicks automotive down the street and he took me right in. Only two blocks down and actually cares for customer service.

Just had my clutch fixed from them. Not only did they go over the whole vehicle, they topped off all the fluids and gave me a run down of what I have to fix in the future. They always kept in contact with me and their customer service is excellent.

I was so pleased with the service I got from Javier and Hector! My car is not doing well and they gave it to me straight. They could have taken my money and acted like they were fixing something but they didn t. I appreciate their honesty and their help so much! I usually don't review however I felt these guys deserve the credit. I recently brought in a Trans with no 3rd gear. they did a fantastic job on the rebuild and took care of some other issues while the vehicle was there. they met my timeframes and communicated during the entire process. Getting my clutch replaced here was great. The owner is awesome and provided the best service and communication. Costs were reasonable and totally explained. They managed it in one day because I'm from Truckee... thanks!

I'd like to thank the guys at Bravo Transmission for trying to fix my 96 Mercedes which couldn't be fix because Mercedes doesn't make the part it needed. I was treated with respect. I would recommend Bravo to anyone who needs work done on their vehicles.Thank you Bravo.

I have dropped my truck off about a week. I keep trying to call and left messages on phone, no call back no answer EVER. Cant recommend a shady shop. Will update if things improve, but so far its not looking good.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Was tossed around other auto shops and I was quoted the best at bravo. When the job turned into something a little more time consuming the quote did not change they stayed true to their word. Javier is wonderful. They also do more than transmissions...In the past two months they have fixed my transmission, replaced my front axle, and my water pump along with various hoses and belts...Also the struts that hold my front hood up.All done timely and on track with very "reasonable" estimates....I cannot express enough "good" about my experience with Bravo Transmission.

Had a clutch done. Immediate vibrations when clutch engaged. Brought it back only for them to tell me I have idle issues now. They would not even check to see if they had done something wrong, just immediately sent me away. If they mess up, they will not own up to there mistake. My car is currently at another shop getting a clutch re-done to get there "proof".... SMH. Just avoid getting any work done to begin with. 0 star rating on quality assurance. The guys are all super nice people but dont let that fool you. It's YOUR problem when they mess YOUR car up!!

Fantastic guys. My wife brought her truck in because I don't have the time, and frankly the will, to spend all day underneath jackstands in the garage, if it will cost me more in time off work than to just have a pro do it. I had a good idea of what was wrong with it, and specifically what wasn't wrong with it, growing up with a family run transmission shop. No codes, transmission was fine, I like to service it once a year because I was spoiled having a lift and a dexron pump growing up, and the rear end has some damage from someone clipping the rear wheel. The front end is pretty beat up too from rough trails to fishing spots, but I didn't expect them to worry about it.I was incredibly surprised when they came back with a list of everything I knew about, a few things I didn't realize where as bad as they were, and absolutely no BS. It's really easy to deceive someone who isn't mechanically inclined, which my wife is not, and I've stopped taking vehicles in to places for things as slight as trying to sell me a new filter.These guys are honest, their prices are actually under what I would have charged, they didn't try to inflate issues to make it seem like the vehicle would burst into flames, and I'll definitely be using them for jobs that I don't want to deal with the hassle of.They've earned my trust.

Fast service. Great prices, quality parts. Can't get better deal. Arrow trans quoted 3500 to rebuild and re install trans. It was done at bravo for 2500 and the same quality parts. Very attentive to customer needs

First transmission rebuild failed within 500 miles. Second rebuild left me stranded 300 miles from home after only 1,996 miles. It was determined tech overfilled transmission by 45 ounces. Transmission completely failed at 21,757 miles. Third rebuild is now slipping after only 16,818 miles. Vehicle was delivered to me with VSA light on, park neutral switch was improperly installed and transmission was overfilled again by 15 ounces......Service: Transmission

I had a problem with my transmission and of course I didn`t have any idea what exactly was the problem. I called Bravo Transmission and left my car in their garage. On the next day I received a call from them. My car was fixed and the price was unbelievable. More than twice cheaper that what I expected. Thanks for the transmission repair guys!!! You were great!

I had just got into an accident where i dumped my moped. All i needed was an electrical connection to connect the wires to the battery, a very inexpensive piece and a pair of pliers to connect it to the wires. They found something that would work, but the mentioned he would charge me for it. I was kinda taken back. But literally the piece probably cost 2� and i put it on myself. Fine he has to run a business, charged me $5. But then as we turned to go pay he says "welcome to America". I'm not exactly sure what the hell he meant but for some reason i was offended. Perhaps I'm going with a racial thing here. I'm white and he's Mexican. I guess i just figured since i am quite badly banged up and it was really nothing to them, they would have helped me out. They may be great at fixing stuff supposedly, but they are uncompassionate and not friendly. Perhaps I'm just a big baby... Who knows

Did good work with my clutch ans fixed other things on my car. Parts wait was long but went with the best parts and a 1 year warranty on parts and labor.
