I shopped at 4 different trailer dealers before buying here, this dealer has a great selection, excellent prices and a no pressure sales team. I highly recommend Big Tex Trailer World and will definitely come back here when I need another trailer.

I went to this Big Tex trailer dealer in Reno and I was not pressured into buying. I spoke to Miguel and he said "Take your time, look around". I was relieved because I dislike being pressured into buying right away. Miguel was a really nice salesman and coached me through every step for dealing with DMV and asked for anything else he could do for me. I highly recommend going to this business for any utility trailer needs and wants that you might have.

We had a great experience with Big Tex!Reached out to Big Tex and Trailers Plus and Big Tex responded immediately. The next day Darryn had the trailer we wanted ready for us to come by and pick up.The registration paperwork took about an hour then we were on our way with our new hitch and trailer.Thank you Darryn for your great service!

Recently, I purchased a car hauler and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. When I arrived, I was clearly interrupting lunch, but Miguel put everything to the side and jumped right in to help us.We walked the lot, talked about "decks," "axle strength," and so much more that I had never really taken into consideration.I found that the hauler was reasonably priced, and the customer service was top-notch.Again, a special shout-out to Miguel, who did an amazing job and made the entire process seamless. (Or as seamless as he could, we still had a bank involved, and you can imagine how that sometimes goes.)When we were all done, two of their team helped us hook it up, went over all the features and we even discovered (during their inspection) that the ground on a rear light was loose. A quick, screwdriver and a twist fixed that, and we were on our way.Again, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase, the customer service and the immediate follow up after the sale. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks.(Sorry about your cold tacos Miguel)

We had a little mishap in the beginning but they pulled through & made it right. We showed up to pick up our trailer and it was smooth. Hubby was very excited to get his brand new trailer.Thank you Darryn for you help!

Walked onto the lot not expecting to buy but did! Johnny handled the rest and the process was easy and straight forward. It literally took less time (45min) then getting my transmission fluid changed at a nearby dealership. Highly recommend I just wish the Big Tex national website was easier to browse and inventory up to date . Other then that 5 stars

These guys are actually awesome despite what the the reviewer just before me says. I was in the middle of purchasing my trailer, and another person was there to pick up a purchase when the poor planner showed up 15min before closing and demanded someone hulp him. Big suprise. Thanks Miguel for top rate sales and service!

I bought a Big Tex Car trailer as a spare to use in combination with my flat bed truck for running 2 all wheel drive vehicles with one truck from South Lake Tahoe to bay area. I never had a chance to use it in almost 2 years. I picked up trailer and had Miguel install my breaking system in my Chevy truck. Not my freightliner flat bed. Nothing but trouble for 2 years. Every time I thought I wasgoing to use it break issues. I thought I bought a lemon. I had my driver's take trailer back towed on flat bed. Miguel would bad mouth me too my employees saying I abused the trailer. My driver would laugh. He was the one it would break on. And I believe he was not abusing it. On about the 3rd year this past summer I took it in myself. Miguel was not there. This awesome guy mechanic at the shop looked into it. He said they stopped installing breaking systems a year back or so. I went to location in reno where they would buy parts for trailer. The desk guy there and mechanic looked at my system and said that was the problem. It would continually ad pressure to breaks after 3 seconds applied causing breaks to break and get stuck in locked position. I've since then had it changed and it resolved the problem. No calls from big tex on this situation. Sold me a bad breaking system a few hundred dollars and 2 tires that locked causing flats on brand new tires. Not to mention having to drive all the way to the bay area to load trailer on truck. This has caused me a couple thousand in issues. I thought big tex was good. In 3 years they have not reached out. I own South Lake Tahoe Towing and would not recommend Big Tex. I'm looking to buy a dump trailer and just don't have confidence in them. A picture of my abused trailer.

If you re in need of a trailer in the Reno area stop by Big Tex trailer. No hassles, very knowledgeable staff. Dan in the service department is great to deal with. He even helped sel me my trailer.

I'd like to thank the Big Tex team in Reno for their work on my purchase. When I got my new 10 PI trailer it didn't have the correct axles,and thean worked diligently to resolve the problem. Got a CM truck bed put on, they did an amazing job....Update.... starting to get annoyed with this place. I had to go back again to get the brake lights hooked up correctly and now I hooked my trailer up and my plug in on the flatbed is wired wrong as well. I own my own business and now this is costing my company. I would recommend not getting the labor done with this place they are either too busy to check their work or do not know what they are doing. $7000 cash for a subpar job... update... after a phone call I took the truck back and now everything seems to be working fine. Thank you for promptly fixing the problem.

Wonderful staff! We so enjoyed Johnny, which was our salesman. He was knowledge and attentive to our needs. Even though it was raining with much snow in their yard he took his time making sure we saw every trailer that could fit our needs. Big Trex was our first stop of many lots we had planned out. But we found we didn't need go anywhere else. Johnny sold us on his amazing customer service. If stopping in ask for Johnny:)

Dan and Johnny, thanks for all the help. They know the products and have great advise on the best unit for you needs. I would definitely buy a trailer and parts from them again. After 2 months of owning a trailer they finally sent the dealers report of sale. I was unable to use the trailer wile I waited for them do finish the paperwork on there side. Spending almost 3k for a trailer. And not being able to run the unit after the temp tag expired. The trailer is great but the follow up is outrageous. Cool if your just playing around but really bad for business that needs thing right.

Purchased a spare tire for $200, so I was quoted, when I purchased my 2023 dump trailer. Was $250 on the paperwork with $1 tire disposal fee. What tire am I paying to be disposed of, and why not quote the accurate price? I asked upon picking up the trailer if the spare tire was mounted on trailer. Salesman said yes, but it was just tossed in the back. Had to buy my own mount for the spare. Dealer had no keys for the box. This is a brand new trailer . Shop guy told me I had to buy my own. Told him I would not take the trailer then. They found 1 key that worked. Said Big Tex was sending trailers without keys to them. Salesman had me sign a checklist showing they went over all details of the trailer with me. They went over nothing. Hooked it up and that was it. I work for a local government agency and was told by Salesman Johnny that he would take care of me with a discount since we have made large purchases there before. No discount, no getting taken care of . I like the trailer and it fits my needs, but once again I have been a victim of less than stellar customer service. I will not do business with Big Tex Trailer World in Reno, Nv., ever again. Once they got my money and signature, they no longer cared.
