I cannot recommend this place enough I've had many privately owned shops in the Reno area overcharge me or take advantage of me and I have nothing but positive experiences at this location. Chuck the manager is a stand-up guy and every single employee that I have dealt with is courteous and pretty much always smiling and in a good mood so if the owner of this big O is reading these comments you did well on hiring your staff and I am a satisfied customer with currently three of my vehicles being serviced buy your team with a fourth on the way

I always get my tires there. A nice lady helped me, she was polite. I understand they are busy but one day I sat for around 5 hours! It would have been nice to get a courtesy call, or someone asked if they could check on the status of my car.

Easy Fast Clean and best of all Great products! My new all Terrain Michelin Tires for my New Super Beetle are amazing! Better Ride and Quiet too! Almost looking forward to winter now

Super friendly! Job done in 5 min.One of the tiers on my RV is leaking at the valve. I walked in to the store and the staff immediately checked my problem. They found out the stem on the valve is loosing. They tighten the stem. Problem solve!They went beyond my expectation by checking all the other tiers and tightening all the stems. They also gave me the tool and showed me how to fix it in case I get the same problem during my trip.

I am incredibly Pleased with my experience with this establishment.I had called earlier this morning with lack there of appointment for a tire replacement, oil change, and alignment. The Big O Crew was able to get me all in and out within a matter of 5-6 Hours. The staff was working hard this Monday morning and it is greatly appreciated.Thank you!

Expensive - double the price of places in Auburn. Same prices places in Truckee so why bother driving down to Big O on Mae Ann Ave Reno.For the prize, they re supposed to fill up your windshield, washer, fluid, and check all the fluids. I don t think they even checked any of the fluids, I filled it after the appointment with over a quarter bottle.They said they check the air pressure in the tires > clearly they didn t. I checked it that morning and the next morning after the appointment - they rotated the tires so they left my car with 2 pounds less pressure in the front tires. I fixed it at home.They said they checked for a slow leak and one tire. I doubt that they did.They said that I had a wheel bearing that was slightly lose to keep an eye on it. Which is a common scam and a red flag.Their timing was longer than what they said because they left the paperwork sitting on the counter when the guy came back from lunch he forgot to check until I asked him where is my car?

I tried to get them to mount my winter tires. They mounted three of my directional tires clockwise and only one counterclockwise. I then took the tire back to be mounted in the correct direction and they just mounted it back the exact same way they took it off. Thankfully Rob on staff drove out to my house to grab the tire to remount in the correct orientation.

Big O tires on Mae Anne. Ave Reno provided us with a good experience. Maddie Wynn was friendly and smiling and promised us the car would be ready within an hour in what was a very busy shop at the time. Not only was it ready but done in 45 minutes to repair a flat tire. This isn't the first time we have been here and won't be the last- all the folks here are friendly and efficient!

I applied for a Big O Tire credit card because I was going to use it to buy the tires. They didn't approve it by the time the tires were put on. I bought the it there because supposedly it was their 3 for 4 tires sale. It still cost me around $900 for 3 tires, which I thought was alittle expensive for 3 tires...

We caught a screw in our tire while away from home. They patched it and had it back on the car in less than 30 minutes, so we were back on the road. Fantastic service!

Came here for some new tires on my truck. My 2017 Dodge Ram Sport drives great and never made a peep before I brought it into Big O Tires. Every since I got the new tires on my truck my breaks have been make a squeeking sound and my breaks are new. Just had them done 3 months ago and have not had any issues with them until I got my truck back from Big O Tires. I was giving it a few days to see if it would eventually wear off and stop making the noise but it has not gotten any better in over a weak! What is this all about? Will you guys take my tuck and make it correct or am I just stuck to deal with this on my own now even though it's not my fault?

We've gone to Big O Tires 25+years for all our automotive needs. We're recognized by most of the customer service employees with a smile. They're professional, knowlegeable, and answer all our questions and concerns. We especially want to credit Maddie Wynn, Assistant Manager, for being the best at her job. She's our go-to person, if she's available, to ask her advice about automotive service. There have been two times where work needed was beyond Big O Tire capabilities (motor mounts ). Mattie diected us to the best shop in Reno to fix the problem.That IS excellent 5 star service. Thank you. Bebe and Eric Knutila

I went to this store because they worked on the A//C on my truck last year. They evaluated the issue and got it working again in no time. Chuck told me there would be no charge and said it was considered warranty work from my previous visit! I was pleasantly surprised and appreciative. I appreciate the work they did and will certainly go back.

We recently became stranded due to an unexpected snow storm and needed studded tires to make it over the passes. We searched online and found Big O Tires. We arrived early and with fingers crossed we hoped we d find a miracle in the form of 4-studded tires. The staff went above and beyond to track down the tires and the rest was history. Professional, friendly, and informative. Highly recommend!

BIG shout out to Maddie at this location! She was wonderful to work with and helped me get through my claim when my insurance company kept dropping the ball! She was pleasant during each visit (and it took many!) I highly recommend this shop and definitely ask for her!

I have gone to them for two vehicles recently. They told me both vehicles' brakes were fine. A month later, I had to replace the brakes on one and found them to be completely worn down. Checked the other vechile, and the rotors had deep groves worn into it. Neither of these vechiles was fine or safe to be driven. I had the alignment done on the vechiles when the tires were installed. Later, I brought it in for a flat, which we paid for the warranty. The 50,000 miles tires were already worn out at less than 10,000 miles. They tried to blame everything but the bad alignment that they did. They did not tell me up front what the cost to get tire replaced under warranty would be. They just handed me a bill and would not give us our car when we came to pick it up. Charging us for optional services we denied the first time. They have poor customer service. The employees have an attitude. To get a simple tire repair, you have to leave your vehicles their shop all day, and they might get to it. They are not up front about their pricing, and they automatically charge you for optional services.

I usually avoid writing a review because most experience fall in close proximity to the average. I will however go out of my way and write one when the experience is either excellent or very bad because it's worth mentioning for other consumers/clients. In this case unfortunately it was a horrible experience. I selected the tires I wanted online and booked an appointment. Within less than a day I got an email that my appointment was rejected by that branch and a text message that I should stop by the shop to confirm things. Since I was in town the next day I stopped by (mind you, I live new Lake Tahoe so it's a significant amount of driving to get there. Once there, we confirmed everything and they told me the tires I needed were not in stock and would arrive the next day. Since no appointments were available for more than a week, I decided to stop by 2 days later after I was assured that they could finish the car in about 3 hours when one doesn't have an appointment. I dropped it off a bit before 9am and went to a nearby coffee shop to wait for them to complete it. At the 3 hour mark when I hadn't heard anything from them I call to see what was the status. I was told my car was the next to go in so it would be another 1-1.5 hours. Two hours later I go back to the shop only to see my car in line to go in. So I wasted 5 hours waiting + 2 hours driving to and from location and now I still have to find a place to get my tires done. Honesty goes a long way when providing a service. If things don't go as expected just let people know. Or simply don't take walk-ins.

BJ did a great job on my 4runner! He was courteous, professional, respectful, and compassionate. He was very patient and throw in his explanations and answers to my questions. A perfect example of excellence in customer service. Thanks BJ! Bravo!

I will not go to another tire place.. work at a shop In town, these guys do all our alignments... Ivan and Maddie and chuck and all the guys and gals are super fast friendly and they seriously know what there doing no guessing.. hands down the best tire place in Reno and sparks

Shop wanted to drill out rivets on the suspension and put in bolts to give the car an alignment. That would have added several more hundred dollars to the price of the service.I didn t see the need to change the original manufacturer s design. I took my car to another shop which made no mention of drilling out rivets to put in bolts and performed the alignment for only $99.95. The alignment is working just fine at a fraction of the total cost. The other shop also have a one year warranty for their alignment.I feel that the service manager at Big O on Mae Anne was trying to gouge me. I may continue to use this Big O for oil changes but little else. I will go to the Big O on Kietzke to give them a try for tires when they are needed as I do not appreciate the attempt to oversell me.Store is very clean and their Sales Rep Maddie is the bomb. I just can t get over their Sales Manager Chuck.

Been here a number of times, with numerous vehicles (3). Service is always professional, estimates are always clear, and i usually have my vehicle back long before the end of the day.I was the 8th person in line this morning at 8am for an aligment, so i planned on running home to get on with the rest of my day, expecting it to take a few hours.I was barely home (3mi) when they were already notifying me that my truck's alignment was done and it was ready for pickup.Awesome.

Tried calling this place to schedule an appointment to have my car worked on and got put on hold several times. I tried telling the lady on the phone I had already been placed on hold twice for 10 minutes each and she immediately put me on hold again. I understand sometimes the establishment is busy, but just don t push your customers off in such a rude manner! You just lost a potential customer for life! Don t come here looking for decent customer service. You won t get it!
