I took my Alfa Romeo to Automotion when I had a coolant leak and they were amazing! They were very transparent about pricing and as professional as could be. If I ever have car problems in the future I will absolutely be going back to the Automotion team!

They are the best! Bill and the team are the most helpful and efficient shop I ve worked with. They are diligent with getting repairs accomplished in timely fashion and communicating regarding pricing and timeline. I have too many high end vehicles that always need some repair are service and they have never been anything less than superb

Great people, super high quality facility, provide details of service, happy to meet with you in person and review the vehicle if you need better understanding. My car is running MUCH better. Really cute dogs too,As a followup, i was getting ready for an extended trip and noticed fluid leaking from one of my cars the morning of my trip.I took it in with no apt., they immediately inspected it, major issue found, thankfully i did not drive it on the trip.Arranged a heavily discounted rental for me so i could go on the S.F. vacation trip with my family!Love these guys!

I had a fantastic experience with Automotion. They came in far under wha Mercedes Benz dealership quoted me, were thorough, polite and timely. Both times I was there they offered me a ride back to our RV storage. It's not often you find auto repair that you feel you can trust, and I will certainly be going back to Automotion.

I have had my cars serviced many times and the results are always spot on. Automotion is very thorough and they always make it seem as my car is first in line. I have never had to bring my car back for rework. The atmosphere in the shop and front area is always welcoming and you may be greeted by some very friendly dogs. I can see these guys are passionate about what they do.

Automotion puts you in control over what work gets done. Bill was very transparent and communicative at every step of the way. There was none of the old, "I wouldn't drive this car another mile" type of pressure. My Tiguan had many needs, so he helped me prioritize based on safety and budget. I was referred here by a trusted source, and I am satisfied that I now have my regular mechanic. Of all the aspects of a mechanic, trust has to be at the center!

Great experience at this shop. Oil change on my vintage Porsche, with mechanic Zachary Nich Johnson, who is an Audi/Porsche/Subaru expert, and one of the few people I trust with my cars in this town. Excellent service writer and shop, they have a courtesy shuttle - would not hesitate to use them again.

***Edit to add**After posting my review, the service manager was immediately in touch. He was very appreciative of the feedback and gave me resources in case I decide I m willing to try this shop again in the future. I ve driven less than 500 miles since the visit/repair and it still smells like my car is leaking/burning oil. I should reach out, to have the work followed up on, but the whole experience has been exhausting.Worked with my warantee company but made me do ALL the footwork even though they are a listed partner, causing car to be in the shop at least two extra days. I feel like this was my specific service guy, unsure. Also tried to charge me an extra $60 at pickup. Kind of a bummer, I wanted to find a home for Mini service as my car is nearly 100k miles, I don t think this will be the place, sadly.

This is the second time we took our car in. Two different issues. Both times the staff was friendly. I got my car in on a timely basis. Less than a week for both times. They delt with Carcare both times, even though the second time Carcare wasn't very timely. It took Carcare 2 days to respond to the request. But the staff at Automotion were always alerting me to what was going on. I would recommend any work that needs to be done you take them here.

Automotion is the bees knees! Great customer service, and they work on everything. They have done excellent work on my GMC Sierra, my Tesla and my camper van. This is the only shop in town I use for my vehicles. The crew is easy to work with, very knowledgeable and highly specialized.

Excellent service at a fair price . John answered allMy questions and the evaluation was speedy and thorough. Turns out I just needed a new battery and they were honest enough to let me know that. Thank you ! I m excited to have a shop for our fleet of vehicles. I will be back !

This is the best auto shop I have ever been to in Reno. They are very thorough and communicate everything clearly. The lobby is clean and calm and has coffee and water. They were even able to provide me a ride while they were working on my truck so I wasn't paying extra to get to work.I will definitely be coming back for all my auto needs in the future.Services: Brake service & repair, Oil change

I have been an AUTOMOTION customer for years, and have had all my cars maintained and repaired by their excellent staff. This is a staff of professionals with years of expertise which they have applied to everything I drive from Volkswagen to Facel Vega ( an exotic French sports car from the late 1950 s with a Chrysler Hemi under the hood.) These are folks who know what they re doing, can resolve minor to major problems, and who actually do care for their customers! While automotive maintenance and repairs can be more expensive now than in past years, AUTOMOTION has always been the place where my dollars are providing the best quality professional care and repair per dollar. I rarely do testimonials and I have no personal tie-ins with any of the staff nor owners this is just that rare case when the best needs to be recognized and recommended.

I have been with Automotion the last 17 years, more recently 3 years with new owners. This last service on my Acura MDX 2015 was extensive at 120,000 miles. I notice a huge difference in control , braking, everything. The people at Automotion are very personable and thorough. I have known Bill for many years and he always takes very good care of us. My son always has his 2008 FJ cruiser serviced with Automotion as did my husband with his 2008 BMW,.

I first brought them my Subaru (heavily modified Sti) to fix a wobbling issue. In this situation, many shops would find many things wrong to make some extra bucks, but these guys simply said that doing my alignment fixed everything, and it did. Little did they know that I knew this going into it as I ve had and built this car for the last decade. It s hard to find folks you can trust these days, and it s a breath of fresh air to find genuine folks who do quality works like these guys. The next week, I brought them my 2017 Yukon Denali to have some random work done and they were very efficient and timely with that job as well. These guys will be my new go-to shop

When we pick up our car the service light was still showing. They didn't reset the cars computer and show service was done. The we drove it home. The next couple days issues started to come up. Our back up camera was off. The lights on our doors were not working properly. Basically the person who came out of the service to update our computer just cleared out our settings. Don't know if I will come back. I payed $2,200 dollars for service on our Jaguar XJ . For that price they should have their act together. Will we have Mercedes, Land Rover & a Jaguar. They won't see any of our cars.@@@ Update @@@The owner called me. He apologized for the service we received and scheduled my wife's car to make everything all right.He is a man of his word!!!Everything is working great.Oh yeah.. the owner was pissed off on what happened. Will go back .

I have a complicated motor in my Mercedes 600 SEL v12. I use to take it to someone else before I knew about Automotion. We ran into an issue the other shop could not figure out. Automotion found the issue immediately and fixed it. Needless to say now it is the only place I will go and I say thank you.

My son suggested Automotion for my AC repair/recharge for my Mini due to the fact he has used them a couple times for his Mercedes and loved their service. I have to say he was right. I will use them for now on. They were very friendly and courteous and straightforward about prices. I brought my car in at 8am, got it back right after lunch even with a couple valves on AC unit being replaced and unit fully recharged. When I installed my tubular k member in my 2002 mustang gt I brought it down to Auto motion to get an alignment. I dropped it off and a little over a hour later they called me to have it picked up.. I should mention that you could see the difference in camber on the front wheels before I dropped the car off. When I picked it up you could still see a huge difference in camber and the car was still pulling hard to the right. I also noticed that the car was very underpowered afterwards. I was charged a little over 300 for the alignment. I don t think they even worked on it and the state the car was in after I picked it up makes me feel like they just drove it around and abused on it. I wouldn t take my car here if you care about it.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

Very professional. We have a Sprinter van with a Mercedes Benz motor. Automotion has a certified Mercedes Benz mechanic who was able to diagnose and fix the problem that another shop was unable to fix.

I had my car towed to this place unfortunately due to circumstance. They raked me over the coals. Charging me $600+ for a battery replacement. They were unfriendly at the counter, no one greets you, the establishment is dusty and it took 2 days to do the job. What a joke. My son brought his Chevy Camaro here after having some concerns over a noise he was hearing. There are no shade tree mechanics here! There are only High-Tech mechanics who take the TIME to diagnose your car instead of just being dumbed down and waiting on the computer to give a trouble code. They troubleshoot using logic, expertise, and training. Bring your car here if you want great service and the people are really nice and helpful with their advice. THEY CARE to sum it all up! Thank you, guys!Update 9/10/2023: My son s girlfriend took her Dodge Challenger here after another shop seemingly repaired and misdiagnosed a fewthings. This caused her to be inconvenienced several times needing several tows. She also ran out of money pretty quickly. I referred her to Automotion seeing how they consistently get things right. They repaired her vehicle and it s been running fine for the past several weeks.

APRIL 2024. STILL AWESOME!Oct 2023. Nothing has changed- superb service as alwaysJan 2013 I trust the guys at Automotion implicitly!Dec 2013. Ok, they missed something. First time in 30 years that I have EVER had to bring a vehicle back. They showed me what had been missed and explained why. Then they made it right. I trust you guys implicitly!!Dec 2012 Awesome as usual! Thank for a truck that stops without shaking!I need to bring ya'all cookies!Oct 2012 Fixed the wiring issue that has eluded everyone who has worked on the issue. Apparently, it never occurred to _anyone_ that the problem was in the truck wiring, not the horse trailer. Thanks Guys!
