These guys are fast and really good. They do top notch work and a real benefit to the community. I would highly recommend coming here before if you need an alternator or a starter fixed.

Excellent... Excellent service!!! 10 out of 10 for sure!!! We had electrical issues on our 2009 Chevy Avalanche during our mini vacation and Scott was very accomodating and resolved the issue and we were back on the road.Thanks a million ScottJohnService: Electrical repair

I needed someone I could trust to assess the coach and chassis batteries in my Class A motorcoach. I brought it to Auto &Truck Electric based on their excellent online reviews. Keith and Scott determined the batteries needed replacement, explaining the diagnostic methods and results perfectly. I am a mechanical engineer and former auto mechanic, so I was familiar with the process. They replaced the batteries with Deka AGM batteries, which are very high quality, at a very reasonable price. The technical service, and customer experience was outstanding. These guys will be doing all my battery and electrical work going forward!Service: Battery

Excellent customer service. Performed load test on my batteries in my 2007.5 Silverado Duramax, witnessed the test depicted batteries are failing. Scott provided all options and had the pair of quality AGM batteries at the right price. Great product and great service. My truck starts up with no hesitation. Great place for any of your electrical needs such as starters, generators ,and alternators they can pretty much diagnose anything my company uses them to work on our work trucks and drill rigs. Very nice and very knowledgeable people and definitely that old style, Mom and Pop shop, feeling when you walk through the door.

Needed a hard to get starter that no one in town could get me and auto and truck electric got it for me overnight at a fair and reasonable price. They ve always come through for me on those difficult starters and alternators.

Great personal service. Jeff was able to diagnose my electrical problem when no one else could. All the parts were in their stock and I was one the road in a short time. Not only did they fix my truck but I feel like I have a personal relationship with everyone at Auto & Truck Electric

The owner Rob was very accommodating & got my truck in right away & Keith went right to the problem & was able to repair it quickly. The price was right & I would send any of my friends here. Friendly and helpful at a good price!

I needed and alternator for my ford 6.0 ( I've replaced 3 x ) and I knew they made a higher output. Auto truck electric had it in stock .The owner and his son were so polite. They offered information I didn't have and even offered to install it while I waited or to use their tools because it needed to have the pulley swapped out. The truck was with me so I said please by all means. They did it even with my truck not cooperating then the other mechanic came off his lunch to help WHILE THEY OFFERED ME TO SHARE THEIR LUNCH. I have NEVER been treated better. Any buisiness owner could take a lesson from these gentlemen. Yes gentlemen. I may just go back take them lunch just to sit and talk with them again WHAT A PLEASURE ! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ! You both are welcome in my home anytime.

If you need a starter or alternator rebuilt in Northern Nevada this is the place to go. Scott's father rebuilt a 54 year old Jeep CJ5 starter for me in less than 1 day and it looks brand new . Their attention to detail and workmanship is nothing short of phenomenal .

You learn a lot about a company when something goes wrong with the product and how they react to it. For some reason, my starter wasn't working right after the rebuild and I brought it back for repair.No questions asked , they fixed it at no cost.

Excellent !!! They solved an expensive problem quickly and reasonably. Nice people, on the ball !! I would recommend them to anyone for starters, generators and all small DC motors.
