Great service, John and Danny, took care of my Jeep and put a new engine in it. Great price, too. The service, after even better they fixed all of the little bugs after, too. Honest and to the point service. I recommend them everyone who needs car work done go see John and Danny!!!

Don't waste your time. The owner let his manager go and the shop is in complete chaos. I've wasted over a week of my time trying to work with the owner (John) to get work done only to end up hearing that he can't/won't do the work; work that his Manager committed to doing.Recommendation: Find another shop.

Great people to deal with, they get the job done right the first time.I ve brought my car here twice and left happy both times. They found and repaired a very hard to find electrical short, repaired an exhaust leak, and aligned my front end. I ll definitely be coming back and recommending this shop to people I know.

John and his guys Nick & others are The REAL Deal; Integrity, Professionalism & Poise like NO OTHER!! The ONLY thing that the guys at AAA Auto Electric NEED (which is only an issue due to their reputation & obvious demand) is either Shared Access privileges to the adjacent runway for PARKING OR a little parking attendant (you know .. about 5 5 , 125, hell.. put her in a mask even) to help facilitate getting IN/OUT of their facility. A Uber SMALL & Non-essential inconvenience to pay.. for the REMARKABLY PROFESSIONAL & INTEGRAL SERVICE THAT YOUR AUTO WILL ENDURE; ASSURED! We ve taken our Ford their, our Range Rover and have every intention of having my Vette serviced their too; Once I get him to finally part with her! ;)A Guy CAN Hope. Great place! Customer service was great. Very professional & fully explained everything. Got me, a newly widowed senior woman traveling alone, back on the road safely & quickly & was less expensive than I expected, or was quoted by other shops.I broke down 2 hours out of Reno & was towed to another shop. After almost a week I was informed they could not do the repair at their facility. Luckily, I found John, who is a real gem. He found the original shop had misdiagnosed my problem & fully explained the issue. Honest. Knowledgeable. Professional. Informative.John & his crew went above & beyond my expectations & stuck to the budget we agreed on & even did more than was asked. I am forever indebted to John & his crew for rewiring my whole rig, fixed the air conditioning, & even took care of an alternator/battery issue that was presenting a future problem.John got me on the road better than when I left home & came in under budget!Thank you John & your entire crew for your extensive knowledge, superior customer service, & for getting me back on the road safely saving my trip. I would definitely highly recommend this place to anybody!!!

Hey are you a transplant like me likely from California(sorry) looking for a great mechanic that isn't going to bend you over a barrel ? This is the place. Took me months to find John and his crew. Moved here 5 months ago and eventually found him.This guy John did the job in a day, went above and beyond, didn't give me anything I didn't need and had by far the best prices in town.He rotated my tires as a courtesy, he charged me almost half what other shops quoted me and was excited to explain what was happening. I have 4 cars that all have over 100k miles on them, they are going here each and every time without a doubt. I'd give 7 stars if I could.Take your car here.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment, Brake service & repair

I went to them because they had 5 star reviews and they were the first to pop up on google. I never heard of them before today.Went in because my dome lights and lisence plate lights were not working. They put my car instantly in the shop and did a diagnostics.Found out that not only did I have the wrong bulbs in there from another shop, but my dimmer switch was out. Replaced the bulbs first, lisence plate bulbs popped on, then replaced the dimmer switch, and sure enough, the dome popped right on.Their diagnostics price was cheaper than others by a few and they got me right in.Great service, great people and I will definitely be returning!

Recently my husband and I were traveling from Arizona to Oregon. We experienced an engine issue and we reached out to AAA Auto Electric in the early evening hours on a Sunday. They told us to meet them at their shop at 8:30 am and within a couple hours they were able to rectify our engine issue and repaired it and have us back on the road. We found the employees to be welcoming and honest. We highly recommend them if you find yourself in need of a great mechanic shop in the Reno area.

John and his team did a great job. They were fast, fair and did quality work. The clear communication on what was needed for the repair was greatly appreciated. They fixed my control arms on my work truck so I could get back to work after the ball joint fell out and left my vehicle unusable. AAA auto electric was able to get me back on the road and ensure I was able to keep working to provide for my family. I will definitely be coming back for future work with them. I highly recommend them!

Had my power steering go out while on Reno for work. With checking around for a repair shop AAA Electric was recommended a few times. Got my car to them at end of the day. Was able to have it checked, fixed and back to me by the end of the next day. All at a good price way better than other shops quoted. They didn't do much,I had to trace the problem myself with no experience. Even after i told them about where the problem lies. Said to me i brought it to the right place..after it sat for 3 days and not starting it and checking it more for the 150$ they charged me. Sick.of ppl.these days.they just tell you what you want to hear. Crooks..won't ever give them a good reference I'm sorryService: Electrical

John was absolutely amazing. For someone who knows absolutely nothing about cars I was really nervous about taking my car into a shop. However I don't think I could have found a better place to go. John got me right in analyzed my vehicle found the issue and repaired it in a timely manner. I had my car back within 2 hours fixed and ready to go. I really appreciate the fact that he didn't take advantage of me knowing that I wouldn't know any different. In the future I will be back for all of my car repair needs. The review I wrote is way to long to post. So let me just say that I've found a new place to take my car whenever I have a problem with it. Denny, John, & Vincent were fantastic. They were all informative & technically sound. I thought it might take days to diagnose my electrical short, but John had it figured out in less than an hour & my car had new brakes all around & no flashing dash lights in a mere 4 hours. The price was lower than I expected too! I will definitely be returning in the future & I Highly recommend this place if you are having car problems. The best shop. They can fix ANYTHING. And for a reasonable cost. I was referred to this shop and so glad I was because no other shop could fix my Lincoln's cluster. Thanks to John's shop I was able to keep my car. They also fixed my broken down truck that kept stalling out by doing rewiring work. The customer service at this business is fantastic. Immediately treated as an priority. Diagnosis of vehicle issue was prompt. This was an emergency situation and it was treated as such. I went to Gregs Garage to have my multifunction switch replaced and in doing that, they broke my windshield wipers. In order for them to fix what they broke, they wanted to charge me over $700. I left them and was recommended to go to AAA Auto Electric. They were very friendly and honest. I dropped my truck off at 2pm and it was fixed by 5pm for a lot cheaper. I will definitely be going back to them. Highly recommend!Service: Electrical

I couldn't ask for a more helpful and knowledgeable person! John got my car in and diagnosed super quick! He stayed intouch and reached out to keep me updated even when it wasnt on my mind. He went out of his way to let me know all my options to keep my repair costs as low as possible. He made sure everything was super convenient. I will be a return customer and will recommend his shop to everyone I know!

Took our Lexus in for dying battery diagnosis.Was told two hours labor minimum. (290$)They said the alternator was bad and that the power steering pump switch was leaking on it. Estimate 900$ for alternator and much more if we wanted to replace the switch to protect the new alternator from failing.We took it to another shop and didn t tell them anything except what we told AAA. (Battery always drained or dead).They told us the negative battery terminal was loose!!!!!!!! Didn t charge us to replace the connector nut.Beware!!!!!!!You have been warned!!!!!!We escaped a 2000$ battery terminal tightening!!!!!Service: Electrical

I had the electrical problems from hell on my F250. I took it to one shop and they couldn t determine what the problem was and I was looking at a couple grand in diagnostics while they figured out what might be wrong.I took it here to AAA Auto Electric John was up front about the possibilities I was facing. What it could be, what it might be. He took it as a challenge to figure out what was causing my problem WITHOUT racking up a huge bill. He kept me posted through the whole process and there were no surprises. When the job was done my bill was half of what I expected to pay elsewhere.Great and professional work and customer service. Our van broke down in the middle of a cross country trip. Other shops were telling us 3-4 weeks to start and recommending a transmission replacement. AAA said they could get us in sooner and identified the problem as electrical. They had the van ready in less than a week, and at a reasonable price. Found these guys for my ford to replace the a/c part and an egr valve cord. They fixed both for a great price. And just recently bought a Nissan, had them look at everything and they made sure to take care of what it needed. John and his crew do the absolute most with great customer service. 10/10 recommend them. My son's Dodge Charger had an electrical issue and we were recommended here by another shop. We knew where the problem was but the part that needed replacing was $1500 through Dodge (not including labor). John's tech was confident he could take it apart, repair it and put it back together in a few hours. They did exactly what they said and now the radio and climate control work as it should. My son works in Reno (2500 miles from home in NY) so I wanted a place I could trust to do any future repairs. I'm in the automotive aftermarket so I'm very familiar with the way business should be done. I'm very impressed and very happy with the honesty and service. I'm very pleased to leave a 5 star review. Very happy with the service. They were honest and professional. I was quoted over $1000 at another repair shop to take care of my break calipers and AAA Auto Electric fixed them for only $105 and it took less than an hour! I will definitely be returning and trust that I am getting the best deal!
