Big S/O to my guy pushed that background check thru on my b-day. Decent selection of firearms, good prices. Nothing like walking into those old school hardware stores where people working there actually know what they're talking about and how to help you. Miss those days.

Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man! Or woman! Our Ace is Fantastic!So glad to have such a great hardware store in town! Super helpful and friendly and usually have what you're needing!We are lucky enough to have 2 great hardware stores in our small town. What one might not have you can always find at the other. We shop both regularly. The truth is, smaller hardware stores are the only place we get great service and people who work there know the store. We actually had to get something yesterday and went to order it at Home Depot... it was a specific thing we couldn't get in town. We had a list of fittings and things we needed as well, and the HD selection was not good and we couldn't find anyone on the floor help us. My husband and I both talked about how we never have issues finding electrical, plumbing, bolts and screws etc. at Ace, only at the large stores. Ace actually had exactly what we needed and it was easy to find. If we couldn't have found it, the Ace staff would have easily directed us to the right place.

Great customer service, lots to see didn't find exactly what I needed , also need more greeting , especially in back , need music and a little better atmosphere, other than that's its great

Has everything you need in a hardware store. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable! Will definitely use again if I need anything. They even sell lumber.

We were traveling and had problems with our Weber grill. Stopped here and the manager Mark and two other employees did their best to solve our problem. They went totally out of their way and were unable to make it work. We apparently need a part they didn't carry. Regardless, they lived up to the "helpful hardware people". I'd certainly recommend them.

Small town doesn t even have a stop light but it has two cool hardware stores.Ace is the place when you re in Overton.

I've always heard that this Ace had a good variety of guns and ammo at a low price and was not told wrong. Huge variety of gun accessories and cleaning items. Nice selection of fire arms.

I found the store was organized well and clean. But I found them to be over priced and the staff were not as knowledgeable as their competitors. In such a small town I think every effort really needs to be made to gain and keep loyal customers.

They are so helpful. The gentleman resolved my issue quickly with appropriate responses. I'm not a local however EVERY time I need something while escaping the cold weather up north I will use this Ace.

Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable there. If they don't have the answer for you they find out who does. Love every one there. Products and price are good also for a small town

Friendly and helpful staff. They usually have what I need for projects, so reduces traveling to mesquite which is a big plus.

Staff was really quiet and seemed a bit dismissive when asked questions answers were really short. Other wise it's a clean store and good prices not tok hard to find things

Needed some replacement parts for my 1998 Seabreeze RV toilet... they ordered same day & received the parts the next day... excellent help and fast service... thanks Emily.

The store had all kinds of things. A good supply of hardware, nuts n bolts you can purchase singly. Even a assortment of toys and target practice stuff.

I couldn't vote less than 1 star... Every time I have gone here... Now I think I have given them 5 or 6 tries... It has been HORRIBLE service... Where do they hire those Idiots... (one being a Saturday Manager) I have an Ace Hardware card, didn't have it with me, and Don't want to put my name and Number with it... Well, I went to buy an Item you needed the Card for. Didn't have my card, asked them to Just scan a card out of their drawer... You would have thought I asked them to commit a First Degree Felony... They would have NOTHING to do with it... What a Joke... True value gets all of my Business currently... I know I have spent over $6,000.00 there since December. And plan on going there even more... I will probably hit over $15,000 there this year as Ace is NOT THE PLACE with the helpful hardware people...

It's a real hardware store with friendly staff. You'll feel comfortable asking tough hardware and painting questions. I would recommend this store to a friend.
