We found Palm Creek RV Park when we were having mechanical issues with our RV while driving by Moapa on I-15. Kyle is one of the nicest humans on the planet, made us feel welcome and really helped us out, even giving us a jump when our battery died. The grass at the park is green, the river is beautiful and there are plenty of picnic tables by the river in this little oasis.

Been coming here for years, Great for family and friend gatherings. Water is most of the time at perfect temperature. Great for kids to swim, just bring them shoes, as there is a lot of rocks in the river. The picnic areas are big and grills are well maintained. The trees provide nice fresh air during the summer so dont worry to much if its hot! There is volleyball courts and plenty of space for fun time!

I ve never stayed here overnight. But me and my kiddos have been here for few times. Water is perfect temperature. They only accept cash so make sure to bring cash. I also brought some floaties for the kiddos because the current will take them all the way down and it's so fun for them. I brought chairs so I can see my kids near the creek. You don't have to bring grill because they have it but you can bring your own as well.

Pretty neat place. The water is pretty much clean and apparently always at least 80 degrees. They have made a really neat setup and took care of us with coming during a colder time. It essentially like 100 yards of creek with areas to hang out built all along the edge. There are stairs and pool/barrier areas set to segment off slower water with different depths. The bottom was anywhere from silt to sand and sometimes rocky but extremely better than something like boulder beach. The management was extremely nice and they even provide carts for rolling your stuff from the parking area.I rated "rooms" low as I do not know what to throw in with that. I think it is only for either picnicking/swimming or camping. If rooms covers bathrooms they were pretty good and also being renovated to have tiled showers. If rooms covers camp areas or RV pads then I guess they seem fine, but we did not utilize that. Just grilled and swam.

This is a beautiful park. Lovely grounds with grass areas, trees, a net for volleyball, lots of tables and BBQ grills, and a river. Even though it was a hot day, with all of the coverage from the lush trees and the river, which felt incredible, it was a perfect way to stay cool, while feeling very relaxed.

WOW. That s all I have to say about this quaint RV Park. My buddy and I called last minute and got a spot (cash only) on the way to Las Vegas. Kyle welcomed us and made us feel right at home. And there s an incredible little pond to cool off. Don t let the location fool you. Palm Creek is a true desert oasis!

There s a lot of wasps and bees, it s over priced at $25 per person for the day $20 for kids. The river was okay it was warm but there s a lot of people. Vip area is $100 for three picnic tables with a loose chain around them? They said it was secluded for bigger parties but it s most definitely not? It was near the river and that s about it because you re still surrounded by people. You could bring your own tarp to block sunlight save $100. Service was okay at best. I got stung by a wasp while I was there be careful with allergies. Overall an okay experience at best wouldn t go back tho

Do not wait outside of the gate if you are not in your car!! Cars waiting in line have priority! The gates open at 10am on the DOT! Best to get there early!Beautiful oasis that is very family friendly. Have been going here for years and will continue to return

We have been multiple times to palm creek and it's truly serenity now. The pics don't do it justice. Kyle and his family are welcoming and accommodating. The grounds are kept very clean. It's a great place to take your RV or do some day camping. The Muddy River is always warm as the water comes from the hot springs not far away. It's a paradise in the middle of the desert.

This campground is not far from Valley of Fire state park.We stayed here for 2 nights and it was fun to see so many trees after being in the desert for several months. The camground is very small. They were doing a lot of remodeling in the park to get ready for summer. They have hundreds of people that come out for picnicking and swimming in the creek. I don't think the camping experience would be so pleasant then. They do request that payments be made in cash, $60/night.Hookups worked without issue. The bathroom was clean. They have a small laundry facility with very reasonable prices.

Such a fun place. A natural warm water creek with plenty of nature and wild life. My only issue is they consider kids 12 years of age as adults...so you are forced to pay full price for someone that isn't even a teen yet.

What a great hidden treasure! We needed a one night stop on our way home to So Cal and found this on Google maps. Great reviews so gave them a call. Don is such a sweet man and was the deciding factor. They had just decided THAT DAY to open the RV spots again. They had been previously closed to accommodate parking for the day picnickers. What a wonderful respite! We immediately got in the water and floated down the river! We got mani/pedis from the little guppies by the trees! (people pay actual $ for that!) and we made it just in time before the rain came that night. It was the perfect stop before our final stretch home! Thank you Palm Creek & Don!

A good picnic spot they have a bunch of tables everywhere along with grills. Lots of shade everywhere and the bathrooms are pretty clean and have a shower in the bathroom for when your done at the river. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It is a really nice place to get away to for the day... it gets packed but so does Disneyland and you can still have fun... it fits a lot of people. Everything is clean and well maintained. I would recommend expanding the bathrooms to accommodate so many visitors... still clean and comfortable.

This place was awesome! It is an hour away from Las Vegas in Moapa Valley. It opens at 10AM, and we went early to get in line in case there was one, plus it was our first time and didn't really know what to expect. Luckily, we went early because there were two lines: one for a church group and another for those who were not in the group. We lined up our cars on opposite sides of the road because the employees let the church group go in first to park. I assume if you reserve the picnic area for a large group, you could do the same. Nevertheless, there were six cars in front of us not counting the church group which was only like five cars, and we got to park inside the establishment. Forty cars get to park inside the establishment, which makes it convenient to bring your stuff to the picnic table you choose. If not, you have to park on the street. There are numerous picnic tables, grills, trash cans, and carts they loan you if you need to bring your stuff to the picnic tables (which is super convenient). They even pick the carts up from you when you are done. There are picnic areas that can be purchased for $100-$200, which are sort of away from the other picnic areas and may have nicer seating or shaded areas. We went for the free abd first come, first serve areas. Some tables were reserved, so I assume someone paid to reserve them. However, I am not sure about that. All the employees were nice. There is a rule about no glass bottles, and they check periodically in your ice chest and bags. Bring plastic bottles or containers with food or sauces. You don't want to be kicked out for having glass bottles. The river wasn't deep or too fast flowing that your kids would be in danger, which is what Inloved about it. My kids got to catch little fish in a cup and ride in their inner tube down the river. Some people were playing with a beach ball and volleyball for bit, but they stopped when it was too crowded. I loved being able to BBQ, be in nature with the kids, and have clean bathrooms to go to. Unfortunately, the only have two stalls in the women's bathroom, but they also have a shower to wash up as well as a laundry area to wash and dry your clothes. Fortunately, it was all very clean. My husband said the men's restroom had one urinal and one stall plus a shower. This is definitely a place to take your family for some fun. We paid $90 for two adults and two kids and parking. It was worth it for six hours of fun.

The place is beautiful. A great place to spend the day and relax. Unfortunate we had a very unfortunate experience with the older gentleman in charge when we arrived where he literally stormed out of the house screaming at us for not waiting at the entrance. They have a Stop sign at the entry that apparently means wait here rather than look both ways and continue. He was ragging at us like a lunatic. It was so aggressive and unexpected that everyone just froze, and it stayed with us the rest of the day so we unfortunately ended up not staying very long, even though we drove over an hour to get there. And it was not a one time thing because about 15 minutes after we arrived the rest of our party got there and did the same thing at the stop sign and received the same welcome. Very sad we could not enjoy it especially after spending $260 for everyone to get in.

Mood - day trip adventureYes in Nevada we have water believe it or not. And sometimes it is connected to hot springs. Put these 2 elements together and it makes for a great time.Upon entering you have to stop and be checked in. Your given a wrist band and instructed on where to park. They don't allow glass or pets inside the grounds. There are several seating areas with its own grille. Each are first come first serve. But there are many. From the top at the grassy area down by the area leading to the water. Your able to bring your pop ups to cover your seating area should you choose. Plus several wagons your free to use to get your items from your vehicles to the grilling area. The water areas are roped off at the different descending levels for safety. There is a set of stairs you can walk down, or enter as you carefully walk down the hill. The water has areas that are deeper than others so take your time. The water is coming thru at a decent rate of speed and there are no life guards on duty. So def keep an eye on the kids. However it is nice & cool and truly something different than typical Vegas adventures. The grounds also include a restroom area for men and women that features a shower in each too. Both were very clean. You'll def want to shower as you'll have sand/silt/mud on you.Would most def recommend. Pricing is 20 pp during the week and 25 pp on the weekend. However your able to stay the whole day for that price. Kids pricing is lower. Staff are very friendly. Don't forget to bring your pool floats and noodles for extra fun.

Invited back for the day, I pretty much had the park to myself. The water was clear and refreshing, and just warm enough to counter any coolness in the air.Palm Creek RV Resort and Picnic Grounds, Moapa, Nevada

Very good to hang out and bbq with family weekend trip out of Vegas. Which only one hour away from home. GREAT private place to relax they got bbq grills and they got the creek where you can go dip in on the summer days. But you must pay for all this enjoyment and is about 25 per adult cash only. .

Not worth the price. For $75 a night. Wake up with construction. Only one stall, one urinal and one shower not private.

Love this place.. beautiful picnic area, clean, owner and staff amazing. I don't give it 5 stars only because I wish they would keep it open longer. 6pm closing time seems too early for such a beautiful relaxing place .

I love this place. It s in a discreet location and they only accept cash!!! Came here on 6/25/022 they open at 10am but cars are lined up early at 9am or earlier. The first 40 cars can park inside their lot and after they reach full capacity in cars they have to park outside the gate. Staff is friendly and they do a great job keeping the grounds clean of debris I tried to connect to Wi-Fi but signal was weak I had to ear hustle other peoples music. No other complaints besides the time I would like to see this place open earlier since they close at 6pm. My time flew by so fast here :( my day was not long enough!!

The location is beautiful the setting and atmosphere is wonderful, but I'm Married to a Cuban and the Cubans that go to this wonderful place seem to think I don't want to spend time with my wife, and they just come sit at my table as if I or my wife knows them. And starts talking to us in our private time. But the place is outstandingly wonderful, it is a gem in the desert.
