My experience at VIP was great here! I found them when I was looking for the best price for my smog and again returning for an oil change but along with their great prices their service is very nice and friendly! So thanks to Savannah the receptionist! and John store manager for the great service and great Job!

Auto repairs can be stressful. Fortunately, when you find a good mechanic that takes time to explain what needs to be done, why and the costs it takes some of the stress away. VIP Auto offers quality service which begins with the "Welcome and ends with thanks for your service."This is a top notch auto repair service organization that I depend on for all my auto repair needs. This service gives the confidence that I'm being well taken care of. The staff is friendly and it's always a pleasure doing business with V.I.P.

I came to this Charleston location because its close to home and desperately needed an oil change. The staff is super friendly and helpful, waiting area is clean and my oil change was done in 20 minutes. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed service!! I have Lexus always order my oil and filter i was driving by saw sign oil change $14.99 which hard to believe. I stop it by person front desk mention thats special . Ok so I mentioned i have my own oil and filter. She said $25 labels but oil change $14.99 is that make No sense label should be same or less. Then my filter was wrong he said he have one $15 but oil filter from Lexus dealer original $9.99 he want %50 more. I was stock no choice. Here i feel after all. Sign are misleading and just get you in a door then once your car in shops they have more power to charge more then what it worth. Unfortunately i just cant standby this type of service. He had to chance to make it right. But people are greedy so vip auto fail it my expectations.

Oil changes are fairly priced and I m never waiting all day. They ve always fairly priced any repairs I ve needed done. Staff is always friendly and professional. Definitely recommend.

Updating my review. I've came to this place a few times and received good service each time. I've always paid in cash or card and in full for those transactions. This recent experience with them was a nightmare so I needed to update my review. I had a repair that was quoted at 2k and they provided the option to proceed on a payment plan through Koalafi. They told me it would charge me 0.01 up front and that my payments could be split into 3 payments over the course of 3 months no interest. I went ahead and proceeded (even though it charged me $41 which I found out days later on my bank statement). The issue here is that VIP auto marked my koalafi lease as REPAIRED/SERVICED on their end which triggered koalifi to collect the 3 lumpsum payments - They did this the day I signed the deal so the first $667 payment came out of my account 2 days after i signed the deal And they did not even have the part to work on the car yet. I hadnt left my car to be serviced as the part had to be order from california. Koalafi management told me the car had been marked as serviced on VIPs end which triggers for them to collect payment. Koalafi advised me that they drafted early because VIP marked it as completed. I had to prove that it actually was not serviced in order to get the financing canceled. Koalafi even advised me that VIP went on to further say the part was installed into my car and that they had to service my car remove it. They never worked on my car at all and video footage proved that to be a lie on their end. They pushed for Koalifi to keep the loan open but when Koalifi confirmed that VIP essentially attempted to committ fraud on me, they cancelled the loan immediately. VIP even had their mechanics calling me telling me I need to do the deal or they will get fired. I will never do business with this organization again.Go on Amazon and get a code reader to know whats really wrong with your car. Its under $30 and u should read the codes yourself before doing any type of business with those who truly don't have the client's best interest in mind.

Was very happy with the service at VIP Auto. Juan and Luis was very helpful and worked with me. There pricing is also very good. The young lady in the office (Savannah) was very nice. I highly recommend VIP

This place is a rip off! They overcharged me to fix my ac, then 2 days later my car overheated so I brought it back and was told it would be MINIMUM $3500! I took to my other mechanic and it cost me $100, to reattach a hose VIP left off, bleed coolant and add coolant! Now my car runs perfectly. I will never try another mechanic again, especially not this shop.

My car broke down Thanksgiving weekend 2022 and VIP got me towed over to their shop, fixed up and back on the road that very day! Everyone was super helpful and the guys in the shop really know their stuff. I d been taking my car to another place for years, but now that I need some routine work done I m back at VIP.

The manager Juan in legit!! My man did everything he could to get my vehicle right.i had been trying to get my check engine light off for some time. Juan finally figured it out and took care of me. Awesome customer service. If I ever have any problems with my vehicle in the past, I know who to go see. My guy Juan!!!!

We all had covid issues and some business needed to change prices to make up for the dramatic lost. I ve paid bank for smogs in the BayArea. So yea currently they have changed smog prices from 8.99 to 14.99. My smog was done fast under 15 min; And is still the cheapest in town, and the staff is very knowledgeable, as expected found car guy friends here. Yes I will come back for regular service, when I don t have the time or don t want to work in the heat. Awesome staff and awesome service. Car Guy Approved.

I came in for a spark plug and coil install. They were ready for me as soon as i pulled up. Best deal in town. Welcoming and wholesome environment. Definitely coming back for all my car maintenance.

Stay away as far as you can from this place.Not reliable at all. It was extremely expensive due to make-up additional problems on repairs that were not needed. I spent several thousand dollars, including replacement of the transmission, which was not necessary. I came just to change the oil and stop leaks. The leaks are still going on even they replaced some gaskets. They also replaced ac lines, but freon was gone within a few hours. I had to recharge using different mechanic. Another thing that mechanic always says is that he ordered the wrong part and will take another few days and so on repeatedly.

I purchased a discount on Groupon for my oil change. When I got there I was told I needed full synthetic and it was $55.01 additional. Wasn't happy but accepted it. After the work was done I asked the mechanic if he checked the brake fluid, he stated he did and it was full. Two weeks later the dummy light keeps coming ON on my dash, I have the brake fluid checked and the reservoir is empty! Now 35 days after my oil change the lifters are clicking like a kitchen timer so I have the oil checked and it doesn't even register on the dipstick. After adding two quarts of oil, it still clicks a little so I'm needing a little more. There is nothing leaking under my vehicle so I feel as though the fluids were not filled like I was told they were. I won't be going back there ever again! You decide on your own if you want to risk low fluids on your vehicle....Service: Oil change

Jeremy greeted me with a super awesome big smile and fully ready for his day. He first directed me to Bertha so that i can get checked in and she was super awesome. Made sure my Groupon was applied and that I was getting the right service. Jeremy changed my oil and flushed it since It was needed. Of course he made sure I knew what i needed, told me why, showed me and gave me details on what was going on. I love the honesty and helpfulness that he gave.you don't get that everywhere. I will definitely be returning here for future oil changes and to utilize the other services that they provide. This place really does give you V.I.P AUTO CARE
