Got me out of a bind when I had to leave town on short notice. Was refered to me and glad about it. I felt very comfortable with there honest and complete diagnostic of the problem. They delivered with all that they promised. Gave me peace of mind knowing that I had a long road trip ahead of me and my repair was done professionally. Thank you The Car and Truck Guys for the rescue.

These guys are easy to work with. I had several things that needed to be done on a 25 year old truck that I bought and they completed everything with flawless results. The price was completely fair based on the amount of labor that was needed. They gave me a military discount as well. This will be my go-to shop for all my vehicle needs.

I gave my car and when they call me it was the same place where I parked. They just told me that my engine has problem and not worth to fix. When I asked the excatly problem they say no matter engine is dead. Im pretty sure they did not open the engine and charge 85 dollars for telling that.Edit: They answered its so funny they are just lying. I did not pay 85 bucks for hearing the noise and saying that. You have to say excatly problem. I will sue

These guys are awesome! It's hard to find honest and informative service writers and automotive techs these days. Most of the time you get back overpriced "stealership" service orders with clearly unnecessary repairs. At this location you can expect a true and honest assessment of your vehicles issues at a fair price. Rich also took the time to explain in detail what was wrong with my vehicle and how the issue was being solved. My experience at The Car & Truck Guys was top notch. I came in with an appointment, as they are a super busy shop. I have a 2002 Toyota Tacoma that I had previously upgraded with all new suspension (front + rear and a new leaf pack), new wheels and tires, as well as other components and accessories that will ensure I have the best road experience during my months long grand road adventure. I needed to have my suspension double checked, as well as having a couple sensors replaced (throttle position and oxygen). All the work was smooth with no issues. The costs of all the work were reasonable and competitive, so I didn't have any concern on that front and was confident in the quality of the labor involved.Rich was my service advisor. He was super helpful during the whole process and answered all my questions with the work being done, as well as other misc. questions I had. I waited at the shop, and he was regularly updating me of the progress.I am thoroughly satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a quality shop to have their work done, whether it be a car or a truck. I really couldn't possibly even put enough into words to say how incredible my entire experience with this company was.Both Rich and Josh and the entire team was excellent to work with - the most friendly, honest and efficient mechanics I have met.I was visiting from out of country and encountered my engine overheating and was stranded, and was supposed to be leaving in a few days to travel across the country.I was really in a bind in a foreign country and am so fortunate I found and went with this company.They were extremely helpful in diagnosing my problem (water pump and timing belt) and beyond accommodating and moved things around for me to be able to get my car repaired very quickly so I could get home. The price was fair and they kept me updated throughout the whole process.Can't thank you enough Rich and Josh - I was able to make it home safely - and I highly recommend if you're looking for an honest and reliable mechanic that you use their services!

I've had my 2017 Jeep Wrangler serviced at Car & Truck Guys several times over the last few years. They are smart mechanics, very honest, stand behind their work, and fairly priced. My Jeep has never run better since I started going to them. Nice guys but attempted to charge me 3 times the cost for the exact same part that I could get online in addition to labor costs. Unfortunately their good customer service is accompanied by exorbitantly high prices.

Moved here last April and was dreading starting the search for a place to take my car to for service. Glad I took the time to research and read reviews and took a chance here.Couldn't be happier, Rich is gruff in a friendly way, no nonsense and won't waste your time.Had great conversations while I waited and also watched the technicians work. This is "true" shop and not a dealership.It's dirty, cramped but everyone works hard and gets the job done.Just my kind of place.Thank you!

Terrible customer service, rude! I went there a a/c repair and had to wait days for the parts. I was never informed of the job description and when it was completed, the dashboard was all torn up. The owner refused to believe that they did so much damage. Although my car was older, it was kept in the garage and well taken care of. No excuse for that damage and no refund or attempt to fixing it. Terrible place. Don't waste your time and money!

This is the place to get your car worked on. Drop off your car for a big job and get it back the same day! I have a 2009 VW that needed a new compressor. I was told by another garage l could get it fixed in 10 days (by appointment) then they'd keep it for another 3 days because it's labor intensive. Fortunately the Car &Truck Guys get things done same day and within 24 hours lm back in the road with cold A/C.It's not my first time relying on them. They are fantastic and prices are like the other garages.

Rich is awesome! I had called around to get quotes before bringing my car in. I ve got mechanics in the family, they just don t live here, so I knew what was wrong with my car and what to expect on the price they were definitely the most reasonable! Even the place next to them(I think red rock) quoted me $200 more. They kept me informed the whole time. My car is older and has some problems so I think I finally found an honest place to take it to. Recommended my family and friends to go here too!

This is becoming my go-to place to have my vehicle serviced. They always come through for me even at a moment's notice. I recently made the mistake of trying to re-fill my Lexus RX-350's AC coolant myself but ended up over-filling it and knocking out the AC system completely as a result... this during a week when Vegas is supposed to have multiple days of near 110-degree temperatures. Since I wasn't sure who might be able to take a look at my vehicle on such short notice I tried scheduling a service appointment at multiple places. The local Lexus dealer service department didn't have an appointment slot available until 10 days later. Another place I've had my vehicle serviced in the past didn't have an available appointment until three days later. I then decided to take my chances and drop by The Car & Truck Guys first thing Monday morning to see if they might be able to look at my vehicle any sooner since I recently had a great experience there with them fixing a gushing oil leak for me as a last minute drop-in at the end of the day a couple of months ago. This time around, even though I didn't have an appointment, they still managed to diagnose and fix my vehicle's AC system within hours after I dropped it off to them. Best of all, the cost of the repair was far below what I had expected. The service I've received at The Car & Truck Guys has far exceeded the service I've gotten at any other auto repair shop, both here in Nevada or in California where I used to live. From now on, they'll be the first place I take my vehicle for service because they've been consistently great for me. They're fast, friendly and they're very service-oriented.

Rich and Robert are wonderful! I would have never guessed in a million years that copper plugs were a solution I'm stepping up my game from now on and using top of line parts for other repairs like O2 sensors after what Robert suggested! I get another year of use from my Jeep now that it passed smog for the equivalent of $70 a month. Thanks guys!

I've been living in the area for about a year and a half and have been taking my two cars here throughout that time. These guys are professional and helpful. They are straightforward when recommending services....after many visits here I definitely trust them to be honest about which services are necessary and which repairs can wait. Rich runs a great shop and seems to be able to juggle a lot, even when they are busy, which is often. He is also considerate...I often work nights and Rich takes time to text/email instead of call when I might be sleeping. I will continue taking my cars here while I live in Vegas.

Josh and Rich took care of my van and got it running perfectly I just had to give them the time to fix it right it was the best shop I have been too Thanks a lot. I highly recommend this shop and they give you a warranty to stand behind there work

I ve been traveling from Washington to Vegas pretty regular this last year. My car has quite a few miles and on. This last trip here I was looking for an oil change and to turn off that service engine light that popped on. I picked this place out of gut feeling and am happy with my choice. They did a great job and got my car running really nice. I feel ready and confident for my journey home. Great people! Everyone was friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. I will definitely be back again. I always do a service on each end of my trip and feel great about knowing I have found a Vegas end checkup for my old gal.

I mainly talked and dealt with Rich. He was absolutely understanding of my situation that was going on with my jeep. He diagnosed the problem pretty quick and he was absolutely the sweetest and most patient with me. I got an estimate to replace my transfer case in my truck. The owner and mechanics were super friendly and gave me a thorough estimate. Unfortunately I took it to another reputable shop that specializes in this type work and the cost was almost exactly 1/2 the price. I will still use The Car & Truck Guys - they seem to be honest and do good work but my situation was probably better suited for a specialty shop that does that specific work.

Normally I do my own work on my Miata but when I had a leak that I couldn't locate I decided to call these guys up and they were splendid! They were quick and efficient and educated me as to what the source could've been and what I could do for it. As my first experience with a mechanic, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a job well done!Service: Vehicle Inspection

Rich was very helpful and honest with my repairs. They were able to get me in the next day after I had a leak in my undercarriage. Able to diagnose and fix the problem, as well as remind me that my brake pads were low, which I had noticed a week prior but forgotten in the moment. Car is running great now! Thanks Car Guys!Update: Went back to them after getting a diagnostic needing a smoke test done. Called Rich and he got me in the next day, fixed the issue and my car is driving great with no issues. I had the best experience I ve ever had when it comes to servicing my car. Rich was so helpful from start to finish and gave me confidence that my car was in good working order and that the issue I had could be resolved. He was completely transparent on identifying the issue as well as the pricing and I appreciated his honesty and the great savings I got at The Car & Truck Guys. It s so hard to find honest, reliable mechanics and good customer service. And that s exactly what I got. I was completely blown away by my entire experience. I will be back and I highly recommend them for all of your service needs.

Peter answered phone in timely manner, very professional, Nick did an awesome job repairing my car and it didn't take all day just a few hours. What I really love besides that is being able to book an appointment online since it wasn't an emergency that needed to be done right away. They found another problem that needed to be taken care, flushing of the coolant that's in the manual for the mileage but didn't do it until I said to since they had it why not. Totally beats driving all the way to Henderson to Fiat place, they have my business for life of car. Thanks Guys!!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

This was my second visit to the Car and Truck Guys and I was very pleased with the service. I got an oil change and they fixed a faulty left turn signal light bulb. They were professional and completed the work in a timely fashion while I waited. I appreciated that I was able to get an appointment a couple of days after calling. I found this place googling best mechanics in the area and the reviewers are correct. They are extremely professional and did a great job on my SUV. Daniel at the front desk is one of the nicest and trustworthy people you will meet. He went above and beyond to help me get my car fixed on my tight budget, plus he tried to fix the squealing in the engine that I had paid another mechanic to fix, but didn t and now refuses to return my calls. So I ll be going to Car&Truck from now on. Had I gone anywhere else, I would have had to spend a lot more.Service: Transmission

So I had an issue with my Mercedes Benz and I didn t know how to deal with the warranty company. I took my car to the car and truck guys. They were able to diagnose figure out the problem and were able to figure everything out with the warranty so I didn t have to worry about it and I was able to keep my car back in no time at all thanks to Richard and Robert at the Charleston location.
