Great customer service and car care. Edgar (Washington St.) was very helpful and professional. This was the first time I was ever shown a visual picture of issues that needed my attention. It was good to actually see what they saw on screen. I will continue to bring my car to Sun Auto.

This entire staff seemed unwilling to diagnose my truck's problem even though I was willing to pay. In the end I got a district manager involved and he basically made JR do what I was asking. When they finally did the work they all but refused to do, (actual diagnostic work) they gave me a 950 dollar quote for something that I wound up fixing myself for 100 dollars in parts and an hour of my time. I understand that a business needs to make money but almost 900% profit is gouging and pathetic. It's clear that it was in retaliation to me contacting the district manager. Beware of predatory behavior in this shop. It's sad, they used to treat me well and I've had good work done here in the past.

Two stars for fast service but the reps upfront seemed not enthusiastic or happy your choosing their service I just came to get a transmission flush and he kept asking if I need to do more ina way where he is telling me even though I m repeating that no it s just time for new transmission oil.My car is shaking so bad after they serviced my car. MyCar hasn t done this since we purchased the car in 2021 not once. Now it s shaking like it s going to explode . If something was wrongThey should ofTold meI feel so frustrated and outraged by this company

This is an honest shop, you can take your car here.I took my car in for a brake inspection. They said I didn't need brakes, and then pointed out a known issue. That's honest right there.Second time I brought my car in for brake service, they caught an issue that matched some symptoms I didn't realize were an issue.

Edgar And JR were very professional and responsive. Edgar is a little abrasive but I realized that is just his personality. Ended up not finding anything wrong with my vehicle that had no crank no start. I had signed for $155 diagnostic fee but they waived and told me they had no idea why it wouldn t start but it s fine now???? Thank you so much. I needed this more than you know. You have earned my word of mouth!

NEVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!I have truly contemplated this review because I am never someone who writes bad reviews about companies or they re bad business but I feel like this is more than just bad business. This feels like fraud, and something that should be reported. I have been bringing my car to the Sun Auto in Summerlin on Washington since October of 2020. I have a 2016 jeep patriot, that initially I brought in for an oil leak. Not to go into detail about every single thing they brought up over the years that kept going wrong with my car, I have included all of the paperwork if you want to look into the details. Understandably jeeps are known for having issues but now after talking to several people who have had the same issues with this company and thousands of dollars later I am truly convinced that they are doing something to contribute to more and more problems accumulating whether it is just negligence or deliberately doing things that keep you coming back to them and spending more money. I recently took my car there in March of this year 2023, spent 1,332.92 because of an oil leak issue that has been happening since 2020 then to bring it back at the end of this year in December and spent 1,876.26 because they said that my alternator was deteriorated so bad that there was almost nothing left of it according to JR. That just seems really hard to believe, considering you just had my car back in the beginning of this year, and to say that it was almost disintegrated. Then to literally drive away from their auto shop and was having the same issues and sounds coming from my car. Only to get another call from JR after bringing it back and says that it s going to be another $1,100 for some other issues that came up with codes. So what you re telling me is that you don t have mechanics that can t actually look at the car and not just go by codes to determine that there are things going wrong. To say that they took advantage of me is at the very least. I really started talking to people around town and even a gentleman at the Trader Joe s said oh no, I would never take my car there. He said he had an oil change or so he thought, went home and a couple weeks later was having terrible problems with his car. Pulled out the stick for the oil and there was no oil at all. He said he felt like they deliberately were doing that to cause more problems and keep him coming back. The more and more people I talk to started telling me the exact same things. I was not the smartest person to keep bringing my car back over and over. I wanted to write this, not only to warn other people, but I will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau and even if they would fix my car for free at this point I would never take my car back to this place. When you get a bad feeling about something, you should really go with it because over the years I have contemplated whether they were deliberately doing things to keep me coming back and now I am truly convinced that is what has happened.

I brought my 2013 ford explorer in for a problem running rough especially at high speed They ran a diagnostic test which showed the problem of misfiring. They suggested replacing all the coils and spark plugs which I agreed to. My vehicle was ready by mid afternoon the next day. It was an expensive repair but well worth it. They also replaced the timing chains and water pump on a previous repair on the same vehicle The staff were very professional and informative of the repair. I brought it back the second time because they did a great job on the timing chains and the service was great. These repairs were expensive but the quality of work done made it worthwhile. Anytime engine work is done it always will be expensive but Sun Auto is a place you can trust for quality service. 5 stars Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

JR service coordinator seemed on top of things. Waiting area lacking... no current newspapers or magazines, plus chairs are worn out/uncomfortable. Timing so-so: 90 minutes for an oil change + tire rotation. Nice that they did NOT change vehicle seating adjustment or music.

I was told that I needed rotors and brakes for all four tires when I challenged them on it then they backed it down to I only needed two rotors and four brakes and then there's some other things that they said that was leaking and then when they sent me the report it was for the wrong vehicle and after going there for 6 plus years, I no longer have any confidence in their ability to handle my vehicle. Even with all the excuses of how many vehicles they see every day doesn't really make a difference because each customer needs to at least have a representative pretend like they're a competent person talking to them about their vehicle.

My car started idling rough and the check engine light came on, this sun auto was the closest place so I limped it over to see what was wrong. After a diagnostic they quoted me 1,200, I said that sounded high and magically it was $800. Still for a $100 part and an easy to reach relatively quick install that sounded high. I went to my trusted mechanic and they quoted me $400 if that was indeed the problem but threw in a diagnostic as compared to the $175 I paid sun auto. It seems like they like preying on people who don t know better and i definitely will not be back. Also it seems not correct that they re listed as a small business on google.. with over 400 locations across the U.S. it doesn t sound or act like a mom and pop.

I have been visiting Sun Auto, for my oil changes, over the last five years, and I have never been disappointed with their service or price! No matter the location I am having work done, I am always told what is needed, in order, to keep my car healthy! No one pressures you to do this or do that. They will help you understand what is going on with your car and advise wisely!They really do make you feel like family! Sometimes, you can gain knowledge and be pleased with the wisdom shared! Then, other times, they will allow you to vent about your car problems, while they listen with a smile, and assist you with the best option to take for yourself!You cannot go wrong with Sun Auto as your car doctor! Please, if you are in need of car care, visit a location near you, and enjoy that awesome experience!

Arrived at the scheduled appointment time and they was ready to go for me. Service manager knows how to get things done. Oil change in about 45 minutes on a Saturday, pretty good! Got a list of items for further service. So far, I like this place and hopefully works out in the near future.

Oil change request was handled very professionally , with prompt service and competitive billing. Extra clean facility, safe, and left no trace of trash in or outside of vehicle. Been using them for 12 years and always professional.

The supervisor, JR and the tech who serviced my vehicle were very professional and explained everything that was going to be done, and answered all of my questions and concerns. From what I can determine the work was fine but unfortunately I was quoted 2 different prices for the oil change, one over the phone and the other when I arrived.Probably go someplace else next time

Long story short,they charge us over 8000$ for a miss Diagnose,they change transmission, battery, a few more things and kept car for over a month never ever going there again...fyi all was needed was Alternator!!!

Prices are very high and being short staffed has exposed frustrations. My one repair was not done correctly and expised me and my family to danger and while fixed no offer of compensation was offered even when I broached the situation with Edgar. Very disappointing.Jeff

Frankly, overall I was very pleased with Sun Auto, as a first time customer and will add that I have high regard for JR.Carlos (mechanic) followed an efficient process of evaluating my Audi condition and went on to perform an oil change.When all was concluded I went to the front office to see JR, and I was expecting to hear a number of issues and the associated costs for repairs, as that has been my experience as fairly newcomer to LV.However, that was not the case from this garage which was recommended by Consumer Reports, no surprises save a discounted price for the oil change, as it took longer than projected to conclude!!What a great experience and a well done for the incentive for me to come back with our other 2 vehicles!!
