ALL the five star reviews are true! Very nice people, honest, fast and fairly priced. I would highly recommend them and will use them again if needed. I have already recommended them to others the same day I had my service done! It's so refreshing to not have to worry about getting "ripped off" and to find honest people/business in this day & age. Thank you for helping me so quickly and honestly & for the cold a/c just in time for the warmer weather!

I don t think I ve had a better experience with a repair shop! Friendly service, great conversation and more importantly my A/C issue was diagnosed and fixed within a couple hours, and at a fair price. Would definitely recommend

My A/C wasn't performing well with the front cold and the back blowing warm air. I thought I had some serious issues but Eric was able to drain my system and refill it with Freon to make it all ice cold again. Extremely friendly and great communication. I have a restored 67 Chevelle that had an intermittent ignition failure. You can forget about places like the dealer or most auto-service chains since they have an age limit on the cars that they will accept, meaning that they are only willing to provide a quick and generic assembly line service function. I liked the attitude of the owner when I called and decided to let them deal with the brakes and shocks as well. Both the owner and his technician have ongoing muscle car projects and are well informed by choice. The restorers apparently had forgotten about an upper shock mount in the rear that had rotted out and then been badly jury-rigged with scraps welded in, which was the cause of an annoying rear clatter. Rather than just slapping a new shock on, Star cut out the rotten jury-rig and repaired the mount back to as-new. I was charged about half of what I thought it would be. They kept the car protected and inside overnight and when I went to pick it up, the Chevelle was completely repaired, cleaned, and waxed. I feel very fortunate to have found these guys as I think that they not only performed a quality repair at a fair price, but I also felt that they treated my car like their own. So if you are tired of generic lackluster and apathetic auto repair shops, Star Auto is your huckleberry.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement

We were passing through Vegas when we noticed our AC going out on us and called Star Auto and they helped us out immediately, super friendly staff and the pricing was very good. They even let our dogs hang in the waiting room while they worked on our truck. It ended up being a quick fix and they had us out of here in less than 45 min. Family run business. Great quick service! Had my AC blowing cold again after recharge. Obviously know what they are doing. Asked all diagnostic questions to make sure it was not user error.

Absolutely awesome experience! Eric is a really fair and down to earth person who took very good care of myself and my wife. The wife needed an AC recharge on her older minivan and the price was way less than the chain stores. I need a compressor for my vehicle and he offered a quote on a price that was significantly less than everywhere else. If you're looking for a place to do honest work and give you a fair and honest assessment at a more then fair price this is the place.

Awesome experience!! Always seeking trustworthy businesses, especially when it comes to auto-related repairs and maintenance and felt this was a must-share!! My A/C was blowing very cold and suddenly nothing was coming out of the vents . Eric knew right away what the problem was. I dropped off my car and everything was fixed within 4 hours. Bobby took the time to check into my problem on my Mariner and found that it was under a recall, he sent me to the dealership to have them try to fix the problem. The steering is correct now. Thanks and I will call for future issues to 5-Star.

Hey, it's a one man shop, so don't expect a corporate atmosphere, sparkling clean and organized space. What you will get is an honest job from and expert technician and local small business owner. Upon initial diagnosis, Eric thought the repairs and parts would be about $275. He ordered the part and I went back to get the work done later in the day. After he took the part out, he determined the part didn't need to be replaced and just adjusted. No charge for that at all, and only charged me to recharge my AC unit. If / when I need to get my AC fixed, I'll definitely go back to him. I even gave him a tip for taking such good care of my problem in an honest, professional way. I highly recommend this business.

A few weeks ago my AC started blowing warm air. I looked online to see who has the best reviews and Star Auto Electric and AC Repair had a 4.9 star review. So I came here to get my vehicle diagnosed. The diagnosis was a failed AC compressor and clutch. Eric made terrific recommendations for parts. I ended up following his recommendation and buying an AC compressor kit with a lifetime warranty. After receiving the AC compressor kit, I scheduled an appointment to get it installed. Eric performed the removal of the old and installation of the new AC compressor. After installation and filling it with refrigerant, wallah!!! The AC was blowing air like an Arctic snowstorm. Eric was by himself and had to step off numerous times to assist other customers. This showed his professionalism and willingness to assist his customers. The job he performed, his professionalism, and the price value for the install were extremely outstanding! Keep up the good work and I HIGHLY recommend Star Auto Electric and AC Repair and Eric as your tech for your next AC issues, problems, diagnosis, etc. I highly recommend calling and scheduling an appointment for any service due to the amount of his workload.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, A/C installation & repair

Eric was very professional and knowledgeable. I originally got a recharge and dye kit for my a/c and unfortunately it leaked (he warned me about this before hand ) he asked me to come back if i had any issues and a few weeks later i returned he assisted me right away and looked for any leak using the previous dye kit residue and found the culprit to be my schrader valve he replaced it and i am very pleased with the service and my a/c is still running greatServices: Auto A/C recharge, Air conditioning

I called in inquiring about pricing and help with fixing my AC unit in my Kia and right away Eric was more than helpful. He stayed on the phone helping me estimate what it would be around and giving me options if it wasn t my compressor. He told me to bring it in and see what he could do, even offering to test it for free for me. I scheduled an appointment and went in the next day, everything only got better! He was so knowledgeable and got to work on my car right away! He fixed my AC and had me back on the hot Vegas streets right away (same day). I couldn t be more happy with his service and everything he did for me yesterday. I am pregnant in my last 2 months and Eric really went above and beyond! I will definitely be coming back for any other services I need as well as I already told my husband and whole family this is our guy! He has us for life. Thank you for everything you did yesterday!

Eric looked at my F250 due to no a/c, he trouble shot the entire thing down to the last and final which was a low pressure switch. He did this quickly and efficiently with no BS whatsoever. My truck now has a/c for the first time in years! I wish I would have found him sooner. I dreaded having some sheisty mechanic interaction and kept putting it off for fear of being ripped off. I read Eric s reviews and made an appointment. So glad I did! If you need help and want an honest mechanic, Eric is your guy. I highly recommend him! The guy that works there (I think he s one of the owner too) was so nice and honest, I brought my car this morning to ask him to recharge the A/c because its not blowing enough cold air he hook up his hose and gauge and he said everything is in perfect number he went inside my car and in just split second he found out that my air cabin filter was the only causing the problem, he remove it and turn on the A/C again freezing cold air is now coming out like it used to be when I did purchased it as a brand new car. Great service from Eric who gave good advice on where and what part to buy to fix the a/c in my truck. He also noticed my fan clutch was not working as it should and will adversely affect the performance of my new compressor at low speed or idle. I feel that he saved me from doing a repeat repair by noticing this. If you have electrical or a/c problems, give him a call!

I always check out the reviews and see what people have to say about a business, etc..Which I did with Star Auto Electric, 5 stars doesn't go far enough, Hands down the Best Auto Shop in Vegas .The Friendliness, Quality, Honesty, and Integrity with Great and Fair Prices. My AC wasn t working, and we all know in Vegas a non-working AC is not OKAY. Lol I ve found my new mechanic. As soon as Eric opened my hood he noticed Hyundai forgot to replace my air intake valve. I called Hyundai and they still had it after 3 months. Anyways, Eric opened the cap for the Freon and it was bubbling. He discharged it, replaced the shraeder (SP?) and recharged it and my AC is colder than it has ever been since I owned the car. Not only did they know what was wrong but really nice guys in the shop also. I really don't want to take my car anywhere else now. I will always check in with this shop to see if they work on any problems I have before calling anyone else. Good honest people at this place.Service: Air conditioning

FANTASTIC! needed a dash light checked out, dealer was MONTHS OUT, Eric was able to get us in in a week! Diagnosed and fixed same day, and for waaaay less money than the dealership would have charged!! Blown away by the integrity of this shop! Eric and Mike are incredibly nice folks that were more than willing to go the extra mile on making sure my needs were taken care of. Came in for a leak on a 2012 F150 3.5L EcoBoost and before I came in he had the issue diagnosed over the phone from at least through his experiences. When the truck was brought in I was in and out in under 30 minutes with a Schrader valve. Thanks guys for getting the fix in on my truck.Service: A/C installation & repair

Eric and his wife are amazing people. My car AC was acting weird after a trip and Eric actually explained to me what was wrong with it and demonstrated things I needed to know about how car AC works when certain parts are broken. My car AC is working perfectly now. Don t hesitate to meet with these wonderful people. Bring your car in already!

I dropped my 98 Jeep Cherokee into the shop with no clue as to what the problem was and within an hour got my situation resolved in a timely and professional manner. The cost for fixing the problem was very reasonable. The owner and technician were very knowledgeable with their profession. This company was straightforward and honest with their assessment. I highly recommend these auto electricians (Eric - Owner/Technician and Chris - Technician) company to future clients.

I've never had such a great experience at an auto shop in Vegas. Gave me a quote over the phone, got me right in and fixed the problem. Said it was one of the worst he ever did and still didn't charge me more! What an honest business. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my AC. Thank you Badcop!
