I can't say enough nice things about both Chris and Joey. These guys went out of their way to make sure my moped was in top shape. I have a 50cc and they turned it into an 80cc. I highly recommend this shop for all your needs. Although they are doing so well they are expanding soon to a new larger shop....

My moped had electrical issues from the day i bought it, I brought it to the scooter stop and their mechanic Christopher was able to figured it out and fixed it for much cheaper than anywhere else i could find. Also for the amount of work it was he got it fixed up for me very quickly. My "hog" hasnt had a single issue since. Thanks to the owner, she was very sweet and honest.

I been a customer for at least 8 years and they have always treated me with great service. Most people who write bad reviews about this place has to understand that they are human just like anybody else is. So stuff can happen. I happen to know the owner and the head mechanic and they have things to get straight but for the most part this place rocks. They give back to the community and help those in need. They have the best 24 hour tow service i never was broke down for more than a day or two.

Do not go to scooter stop. They will argue with you about everything. The only number to the place is a woman's cell phone number (she seems to answer to her convenience). They only accept cash (which should be a red flag all in it's own). Their work is very unreliable. They expect you to keep throwing cash at them while they try to fix the problem. I've dropped over $400 fixing what they tell me to fix and my scooter still doesn't run properly. Over priced, under experienced. The only way to shut this place down is to stop going there. It's a real shame, a few years ago they would have gotten 5 stars from me.

I had a tire that was flat and came off the rim. I called to see if I could bring my scooter in and it was no problem. I was expecting that I would go home and come back a few days later to pick up my scooter, but they said they would fix it in an hour or so. So I just waited there. They got it done really fast and charged me fair prices! They were very nice and helpful. This is the place to go to if you need some work done on your scooter!

I bought a couple of Scooters at another shop in town. I had some problems with them. Every time I brought them in to fix them.... they would break down again. I called the Scooter Stop and spoke to Chris. He was amazing! Totally fixed all my scooter issues. He is honest, fast and knows what he is talking about. Call the Scooter Stop and ask for Chris if you have Scooter questions. He's the best. I even think he has some for sale. Great place, friendly staff.

The manager, Sin, and the entire staff, including the mechanic who worked on my moped were very friendly, professional and went out of their way to be as helpful as possible. I called around for pricing, including pick up of my moped. Sin quoted me $20 for the pick up fee, the cheapest I had found so far, and the labor fees etc. were also right on the money. I went in for a back tire change. I had attempted it on my own and gave up and decided to call someone. Long story short they did an excellent job! Highly recommended. Thanks Scooter Stop!

These people are crooks. My brother was working for them for years and they would pay him less then minimum wage or not even pay at all. I am in the process of submitting a wage dispute with the department of labor. So called new parts are not new but just taking from another used bike, cleaned up and placed on your bike. I wouldn't recommend this place to no one. I truly hope they go out of business for ripping of hard working people.

If i could give negative 10 stars i would. first off, they held my scooter hostage for almost 3 months, then when i took my bike to another shop for a tune up for spring come to find out they put at 50cc carburator on a 125cc engine. completely inept all around. unfortunately i paid cash so thats money i will never see again, but stay far away from this place. its a joke.

I've had quite a bit of trouble locating a part. A month ago I went into this store. Bell on the door sounded to notify the store there was a customer, yet I waited 12 whole minutes for somebody to walk out front to assist me(10ft away). A crazy eyed long haired kid that looked stoned walks out and says he is new and I gave him my part number. He checked and it was not in stock. He told me he would call me back by the end of the day with information.. nothing. Never heard back. Good business guys

Chris mulligan is a lair he will sit there and say he will help you then go back on his word. He had my bike for over a week when it was only a days job. He's very unprofessional calling your cell and being rude I was a loyal customer now I will take my business else where I won't tell anyone else about this guy or the shop.

Took my scooter to them for repair. Charged me 50 bucks and told me my engine was bad and would have to replace the engine for around 400-500 bucks. Took it to a different mechanic for a second opinion... And turns out the drive belt was just loose. He replaced it and it's been fine ever since. They claim they know what they are doing and are honest... But this is proof they are not. No thanks.

Absolutely unbelievable experience. The owner seems pleasant, courteous and willing to provide excellent service. Despite good intentions, she clearly did not have a process in place to facilitate even satisfactory results with regard to scooter service. Her mechanic was not given the necessary details to complete any of the 5-6 requested service tasks that we agreed upon. I was not given a final estimate after the mechanic evaluated the tasks to be completed nor was I given a final cost estimate. A miscommunication between the owner and mechanic resulted in the replacement of a front brake rotor (the rotor that needed to be reinstalled and the hardware were++e in a plastic bag under the seat as discussed with the owner when the scooter was dropped off). Somehow I was charged for a full tune-up that seemed to be because the mechanic did not understand what the owner meant by the term minor tune-up .The unbelievable situation occurred when I went to pick up the scooter after being told it was ready and the final amount due is $140. When I arrived I was presented with a work ticket that listed 5-6 service items that had supposedly been completed. The major issue and significant need for service was the fact that the front brake rotor, master cylinder and pads got extremely hot and locked up the front wheel after traveling 2-3 miles. When I asked the mechanic what was done to the brakes I was told I fixed your brakes . I asked again, what was actually done to fix the brakes and was again told I fixed your brakes in a significantly more hostile tone. Since I had experienced the same problem with 2 different service personnel within the past 3-4 weeks I was concerned about being able to drive the scooter 6-8 miles to get it home. With this in mind I asked what specifically was done to fix the brakes? This triggered an explosion of anger which evolved into the mechanic yelling and accusing me of disrespecting him. He threw the $140 cash on the ground, and said f#@$% you. He went on a rant about how good of a mechanic he was and continued to work himself up getting louder and more hostile while his boss and the owner pleaded with him to stop. This continued until I was finally able to leave the shop per a short discussion with the owner. As I pushed the scooter out of the shop door, I could tell that either the front, rear or both wheels were restricted. The scooter simply would not even roll freely. I made it only 1 to 3 miles before the front tire locked up due to excessive heating of the front brake components. This was exactly the same situation I took the scooter to the shop for. I explained this in detail to the owner and stated that the scooter needed to be tested by driving it at least 4 miles at one time. This clearly did not happen which may have been yet another miscommunication between the owner and the mechanic.Although I think the owner s intentions were good the results were poor and my scooter was actually worse off when I left than when it arrived for service at the Scooter Stop. The owner actually offered to come to my home to fix the scooter and take care of everything. It has been nearly 2 weeks but I have not received any follow-up from the owner.I haven t mentioned that after being stuck within 6-10 minutes of leaving the shop I tried to contact the shop by phone and got no answer on 3 occasions. It took me 3+ hours on a hot (100+ F) evening to make it the 8 miles home. To make it home I had to pour cold water on all of the front brakes every to mile. The whole experience was costly, frustrating and left me worse off than when I started. This service provides the gift that just keeps on giving. I noticed an oil stain on my driveway after the scooter had been there for 24 hours. There was gear oil leaking from an area near the rear tire. Now I need to figure out what was done incorrectly so I can make additional repairs and then figure out how to clean the concrete in my driveway.Probably not the place to take your scooter for repairs!!!

This place is garbage. They charge a $45 fee to bring your bike in, and then tell you they cant repair it. It would have been nice if the mechanic told me beforehand that he could not work on my Honda Reflex 250, instead of pretending he knows how. Save your money and take your bike somewhere else.

The shop only takes cash and I didn t have any. My debit card didn t work. Chris was kind enough to drive me in his personal car to get cash from the bank. My scooter was fixed and I was able to get to work shortly thereafter. Thanks!

Pricey and rude. They tried to charge me $100 to release a single lug nut from a tire and change a tire if I would have brought the tire myself it would have been $50. Seriously? $50 to release a lug nut? Try to buy a spark plug for $5 and want to charge me 325 for 100cc kit Black Jack Scooter is much better

They explain the service and the work they complete on your bike, they go the extra mile to please you. They text and call to check the follow up of the work they completed on your bike. If there was something wrong with the part they have no problem correcting the problem.

This man is extremely unprofessional. He is too old to be doing this job still. He kept my scooter for 2 weeks, charged me $300 and it broke within 48 hours. To make matters worse he is so rude. I highly advise no one to do business with him.

Since I bought my VIP, IN 2010,-$1,000, I have referred four (4) Customers, and theyALL bought a VIP Mo-Ped. So that's roughly $5,000 Dollars, Incl.Myself. I stopped over 1 day, and wanted to see if they would GIVE me, one of those Baskets, that are attached to the back "Handles". They even had one on the showroom floor, and they said it would cost me $35 Dollars! I looked at him,(Earl is his name) and asked himwhy he would not just throw it on, 'cause of the referrals, who DID BUY, a Bike from them. He said that he would charge me $20.00 dollars. I will NEVER REFER The Scooter Stop to anyone! In fact I will do my best to boycott that place! NOT a Good Way to run a business!!
