Great service Bodin went above and beyond to make sure my claims were made to the fullest . Terry was awesome as well at making sure to the crew was on top of the ball at doing what they do best . Also a shout out to Lucas for just being extra helpful for making sure that I was well on my way to my next destination. I wasn't to sure who actually worked on my vehicle but big thanks for making sure it was taken care of and doing in a very professional way.

These guys are great!! It s so difficult to find good honest people at an automotive shop these days. Terry and Lucas are so helpful and just great guys to be around and talk to. They were so nice, and honest with me, they explained everything and answered every question I had! I will only go to these guys from now on! Thanks guys, I ll see you in a few months for my next oil change!!!

I always have a great experience when coming to this Pep Boys location. Lucas was very kind and helpful at the front desk. He didn't try to upsell me with unnecessary items or services. Josh, my mechanic, worked quickly and efficiently on getting me out in a timely manner. They were backed up on customers but I was in and out within and hour and a half. Thank you guys for your honest and quick work! I will definitely be back again!

Terry, Lucas, and Josh did an amazing job fixing up my Jeep. I feel so relieved and appreciative of their expertise and good work. I have to drive across the desert back to Los Angeles in a few days. I limped into town needing spark plugs and an air conditioner. They had me fixed up and back on the road in one day. Thanks, Pep Boys!

Lucas was professional, honest, and straight to the point. Battery drained due to light left on for too long. He tested it, figured life was still good, and did not recommend any unnecessary fixes. Hard to find a trustworthy auto shop. Would come back.Well done Lucas!

These guys are experts at the rip off game. I had a starter problem and had my 2009 Hyundai Sonata towed in and was a bit surprised when the bill came in at a little over $700.00. I drove it home and it ran fine. Went to start it the next morning and it wouldn't turn over. I checked the battery connections and found the positive cable loose. After making sure everything was good on the battery it still wouldn't start. I called and Pep Boys sent a tow truck and back it went. I had no contact with them for four days so I called and was told that I needed an ingnition cylinder in the amount of $500.00 dollars. When the ignition switch didn't solve the problem I was told that I needed a new flex plate and I almost passed out when I was told it would cost an additional $2,500.00. The ignition switch ended up costing another $700.00. Now I have a car that still doesn't run and after looking up the parts on line, found the prices I was charged for parts was almost doubled. I also found out that the labor rates are $170.00 per hour. I have been lied to, and over charged. If you need your vehicle repaired what ever you do stay away from these guys or bring plenty of cash. And by the way they tell you that they will call you, in the fourteen days they had my car I got one phone call. Don't make the same mistake I made do your homework and find a reputable shop. I live 60 plus miles away from this shop and the five or six round trips wasn't even discussed when it came to inconvenience.Mike Davis

We had a terrible experience with pep boys. I don't ever plan to go back and I wouldn't ever recommend it to anyone else. I'll try to make our experience short: our car was making a crazy loud noise on our way to Vegas, being the only shop open on Sunday, we went to pep boys where we were quoted our first born on all the stuff that could be making the noise. We came to an agreement on getting one of the things fixed that they thought was causing the noise. After days without our car paying for Ubers and taxis we finally got it back on the day we were driving home with almost all of the dash lights on. Not 20 minutes into the drive, the noise started again. Turns out it was just the skid plate flapping around under the car that eventually ripped off. So that would have been a super easy and cheap fix.Fast forward to today, we took our receipts in to the pep boys near our house since their work is "warrantied" so they could fix whatever turned on the dash lights. Not at all to our surprise they quoted us $1900 to fix what was wrong which we didn't even ask for, and said that it wasn't their fault for the lights being on. We just wanted them to fix what they did before. We declined the work they wanted to do but not without one last attempt to get a diagnostic charge from us. Luckily the supervisor came in and said we were good to go. We won't be making the mistake of taking our cars there ever again.

I took my daughter s car to be looked at and had the pleasure of working with Lucas. He was knowledgeable, friendly and very patient with me and my questions. His team of technicians were able to figure out the problems, found a nail in one of the tires and gave me a quote. I ll be going back to see Lucas very soon. Thank you Lucas for a job well done.

They were willing to rebalance the tires I bought at a different pep boys, however each of the tires had loose lug nuts. I had to tighten them myself because i heard a noise. What a safety hazard.

Purchase the tire from Walmart it ended up having a defect I still haven't been able to make an appointment to get that tire repaired or mounted back on my I've been riding on dummy for a few weeks. I decided just going to go to Pep Boys by another tire and get it mounted and figure out with Walmart what to do with the tire which I still haven't done anything with but all in all I've paid $100 got the tire mounted all within a few hours no hassle no the phone tires with issues just no hassles whatsoever and the servicemen were all Pleasant all the way around so and on top of that for $100 I got hundred thousand miles higher versus paying almost $131 at Walmart for a 40,000 Mi Tire that they never had in stock but kept trying to charge me for another one so yeah Pep Boys all the way thank you so much

I've been going to Pep Boys for the past 2 years for oil change (I do about 6 of them a year since I drive A LOT). They're always fast to work on my car, and never had issues. Pretty pleased with my experience going there, and totally recommend.

I've gone to this shop with 5 different vehicles and only two actually belong to me. Three of them were Lyft rentals and I can honestly say I've NEVER had better service ANYWHERE. The manager Lucas was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. The Techs Josh, Will and Jeff were very kind and answered all my questions. I was never treated like a dumb female as other mechanics have done. I won't go anywhere else for service to my cars.

I have had nothing but great experiences at the SAHARA location. I always get taken care of with professionalism, courteousness and above all amazing service. When I go to the shop, I only preferred to deal with the service manager, Lucas and the service tech Josh those are the only two that I prefer to use. But either way every experience has been great. I have nothing negative to say about the shop.

My opinion about this location? The best honestly, from a simple call 10 to close the store to being greeted by the store manager himself, wow. From the moment we entered, the customer service was very good and excellent. Who helps me? It's the same Lucas Eash Store and Service Manager. With my eyes closed I felt confident that my vehicle was in good hands. I don't want to overlook their work team, they are the kind that you don't have to tell them what to do, they already know what to do. I think my car chose its own shop where they will do its next services. Congratulations #pepboys if you knew how to choose an excellent manager.

This place is a complete joke. My car been here since September fast forward December I still don t have my car or an update on my car. They haven t contacted me in a month about an update. Every time I call I get told different things. They constantly lie and say they will call me back and they don t. When I ask to speak to a manager they refuse to let me speak to the manager. I should not have to ask several times to speak to a manager. I contacted corporate twice and nothing has been done. Terrible experience with this location and company. I would NOT recommend taking your car here!

The staff was very professional, courteous and helpful. I am very fortunate to have the store just a couple blocks from where I live.They make you feel like a hometown garage. I don t know their names but they know mine. And that makes you feel important. A quality that is rare in todays world.

I came here in the beginning on Jan to replace my calipers. my breaks and rotors were changed out 36 hours prior to dropping my car in this shop.A few weeks go by. And I have to put my car back in the shop they confirm that I have faulty calipers.I DROVE back across the country after speaking to STORE MANAGER LUCAS. And he said he get us right.We get to the shop and the employees conduct a break inspection and state our calipers are fine & the back passenger break pad was never changed. We have them change it.Within the same day BOTY BACK ROTORS go bad due to the faulty calipers THAT ARE STILL UNDER WARRANTY AND WERE NEVER CHANGED DUE TO THIS LOCATION claiming our calipers are fine.I call them and tell them to get me in touch with the store manager you can sit on the phone all night until we open if you want Firstly who says that to a customer?Our rotors were fine prior to coming back to this pep boys. But the rotors literally malfunctioned after they gave us our car back the same day.We tell them to fix it and the manager on duty BODIN OR whatever his name is literally tells us no it s not our problem ?!!!!??WHAT. YOURE AN AUTO SHOP.I have been begging and pleading with themTo put us in touch with the storeManager and he refuses.1. You just did a break inspection and did not inform us of faulty rotors. Which they shouldn t be faulty bc we ve had them changed in the last month2. I don t know if he s the customer service department manager but he can t speak to people by any means.3. He consistently refused to even put us in touch with the store manager.And all of this started due to faulty calipers; which were fine But all of this is a chain reaction.LUCAS PLEASE CONTACT US. Deja Mason Melicia AveryDO NOT COME HERE. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CAR. Unless LUCAS is present.

My overall experience was bad. Service advisor took care of two people before me when I was there first. Now my 2 hour wait became a 4-5 hour wait. I went home and then my car ended up being there until the store almost closed. The mechanic tech was never able to diagnose the main problem. He only told me what it could be and recommended I start with that. Paying for something that MIGHT address the issue is something I m NOT comfortable with. Especially when the cost of the repair is absolutely outrageous (Expensive) LOL

I had a oil change service at pep boys Sahara store 0688. Joshua was my technician. My oil light was never reset and I received no sticker or indication a service was performed. I hope the oil change was actually done. I'm taking it back after a long day of work to have them do what they should have originally done.UPDATE: I brought my vehicle back to pep boys store 0688 and spoke with adviser Terry about my problem. He tossed my keys on the table and proceeded to assist another customer. This is terrible customer service as I explained to him I was returning from a failed job the prior day and returning to the store was out of my way. Especially when I had to do this in rush hour traffic as I work all week. Instead of taking the keys back to a technician to perform the failed part of my already paid for job, Terry thought that I should continue to wait for the "line". I would also like to mention that there is NO operating restroom on site. For a place that take hours to perform services you would think that fixing the restroom would be top priority. I had a child with me the first time I came and received the incomplete service. I was directed to go to the very Dirty Eureka casino next door which denied us entry. We finall got the basic oil change finished after 2 trips, sevral hours of traffic, wandering around and using the bathroom outside, and terrible customer service.NO BATHROOM- TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE- INCOMPLETE SERVICES AND THE TECHS SMOKE CIGARETTES AROUND THE VEHICLES WHILE WORKING ON THEM. DONT COME HERE AT ALL COSTS.

I had a shake in my rear tire on the interstate so I swung into the closest pep boys while I was in town. I had two spare tires on the bed of the truck and very clearly asked them to mount and balance the two on the flatbed in place of the two worst tires I had on the truck and put the best two of the four in the rear. After waiting for an hour and a half while the employees gawked at somebody s stereo system, they finally pulled my pickup back then told me they didn t think they could balance the rear tire because it was worn and there was a hole in the side wall. I told them I had asked them to mount and balance the tires that were blatantly on the flatbed because the rear drivers tire was about to blow . They acted like that s not what they were asked to do and raised the price then told me they didn t have time because they were closing. I told them never mind and took the truck to the 24 hour tire shop up the road. They had my tires swapped, mounted, and balanced in under 20 minutes for half the price. Yall need to take some notes from these family owned places around here. They re so much better at their job and actually care about respecting people s time and money. I ll never go back to Pep Boys again if I have the option.

DO NOT take your foreign car to this place at all. Took my car here when it was running, went to pick it up now it will not run at all!! Foul play has been done to my car.

Came here to get an oil change, and a filter change. I paid for 5 qts of oil, and a oil filter before I came here, so it was only $22. He finished my oil change before they even rang me up. It was efficient , after he got my car it took about 10 mins total.

Ask for Will when you come here! He s a great tech and does the job you ask exactly as you ask. Not only that, but he does great work and ensures quality service. The staff here have great communication and understanding if you are able to describe your issue thoroughly, it helps them specifically lookout for your concerns. That is Not easy for those who aren t very attuned or interested in their own car, but for me, they listened to my concerns, addressed it efficiently, and got the job done right. Highly recommend this Pep-boys location.

This place sucks we came to have on alternator replaced we got here at 11:30 they make us wait for 7 hrs for them to tell us that they run a test and was not the alternator 7 hrs wasted and they didn t do anything on the truck oh but they were playing around all day with each other instead of working do not came to this location

The staff was kind fast and friendly. Although even having the opinion of two other tire shops before this one on which tires I needed changed and after telling them which tires I needed changed they kept and replaced my good tires leaving me with the bald tires still when I went to bring the issue up the advisor gave me attitude and told me I was wrong. Double and triple check with this location on which tires you want replaced because they will do whatever they want even if you request something specific
