I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this location. Not only did I witness two mechanics engaging in a full-blown brawl yelling, throwing tools at each other and swearing while working on my car, but they also treated my vehicle with utter disrespect, slamming the hood, driving aggressively out of the garage then getting out of the car and slamming the door, and then tossing the keys at the receptionist saying car is ready. Despite filing a formal complaint and speaking with the manager, the response was lackluster. Instead of addressing the inconvenience and disrespect I faced, they prioritized disciplining the mechanics over compensating a loyal customer of 20 years for their negligence. It's evident that customer satisfaction is not a priority here. I've escalated the matter to corporate, hoping for a more reasonable resolution. It's a shame that this establishment fails to recognize the importance of valuing customers and ensuring their satisfaction.

Went in today to get my 2020 Toyota Rav4 checked out because the air pressure light was on for my wheels although they were all at the right pressure, and also my car was alerting me that it needed maintenance soon. The guy that helped me out at the front desk was super nice, explained everything to me and was just so friendly and helpful in general! They estimated about 30 minutes but I could have sworn that not more than 15 minutes had gone by and my car was ready. The light was gone and the car seemed to drive a lot more smoothly. Would highly recommend thisnplace, although I live on the other side of town! I was around running errands and thought "what the heck" so I popped in and I don't regret it. This is the only car shop i'll be going to from now on!

Man oh man. The amount of lies I heard from them is unbelievable. All the staff there from the GM to Don to the ladies who work there. My dad took his car there on Wednesday for an issue with transmission. They said they ll contact the warranty company and get it fixed. They asked to keep the car in the shop. 2 days later on Friday after 3 phone calls the ladies tell me they spoke to the warranty and just waiting for their approval which should come in 24hrs. I called after 24hrs on Saturday, Don answers and tells me he s the one who handles the warranty stuff. He said he still needs to take photos of the car and send everything to the warranty(ladies lying). I asked him can we get the car since my dad is without any transportation, but if it will affect the process of getting the approval from warranty we ll just leave it there. He confirmed that we can come get it around 5:30pm after he takes the photos. My dad went there got the car and he was told to wait on a phone call from them to bring it back when approved. Monday I called, the GM answers he apologies for all the delay and gives me excuses and says he s the one who takes care of warranty and he wasn t there last week. Don just covers for him when he s not there(2nd lie). He said I ll work on it today and tomorrow morning I ll call you. Of course no call from them(3rd lie). I called them Tuesday afternoon, GM answers again. He said he just spoke to my dad and told him that apparently when you took the car on Saturday they told you we can t do anything until you bring it back (4th lie). I m the one who spoke to Don and he never mentioned that on Saturday. I just spoke to you yesterday Mr GM and all you said is that you have everything and you ll contact the warranty and let me know when to bring the car back. A bunch of liars. I m wondering if the car even needs a new transmission!

Took wife's truck in 5 weeks ago to have ball joints replaced, given a list of other things, other things done now can't drive wife's truck I'd want the owner to contact me, this is nonsense

If you want the best service at great price this is the place to go, they are very friendly and professional and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They will examine your car and provide you with your options and price and the rest is up to you, I'll stick with Midas. Got new struts, alignment, motor mount repair, rear end repaired, oil change etc... Family!

Josh sucks. They changed management and I'm no longer taking my 4 vehicles here ever again. He won't even tell me when Hailey would be available. This guy is rude and unprofessional.

Worst customer service ever. Waited over 10 mins in the parking lot upon pulling up, watched the service tech pull in a car and help another car, never approached me but continued to look at me. Called the store and no answer

Happy 2023 & I am excited to write my first Review of the Year! I am excited because of great service and an awesome experience. This location at 2797 E. Tropicana Ave. was recommended to us. Although this was not my vehicle, I am the driver for several weeks. We have a Manual Truck and the gears were sticking. Now it is an issue that needs to be fixed on top of having a tire with a slow leak. But we came to Midas so they could look at the issue. Tim, Brandon and the rest of this awesome family team, made our experience great. This family oriented business goes beyond the regular service, they explain so that you understand the problem and what needs to get done. They are honest, trustworthy and make you feel important. They take pride in their work and it shows. They do Quality work.Midas provides many services and what I observed while waiting was they do the best at what needs to be done. Treating customers like family, meaning they want their family to be safe so they make sure vehicles are safe. My apologies if this review seems all over the place, but like I said awesome service.Our truck was an all day project and they stayed after they closed to finish the job. They keep their word and I am so happy with the outcome.As I was driving the gears were sticking when I was shifting gears and reversing. Tonight driving home I was so happy because the problem was fixed. Other issues were found but did not need to be fixed right away.Bottom line is Awesome, Quality, Family Oriented and Great Customer Service. I will be recommending this location. Thank you for taking the time to make us feel important and safer on the road.Tim, you and your awesome team did an amazing job!

It is an absolute shame when you go and you ask for particular services and you're giving services that the service counter person feels that you need instead of what you ask for. I paid over $1,000 for a brake job and a partial tune-up. I wouldn't complain however the work was not done that I have been charged for. Buyers beware if you have to go in and deal with Ace. He has his own set of fees that he is charging from.

I have been to this shop before and had good experiences until recently. Came in last week for an oil change and to get a diagnostic because my check engine light was on. There was a fuel code saying my engine was running rich. I asked if I needed fuel injector service. Dom (assistant manager) explained to me that there is no way to tell for sure what is throwing the code without "ripping into the engine" but that the most common cause for the code was the Mass Airflow Sensor. He showed me on their car websites they look at that the most common fix was the mass airflow sensor so that was what they were recommending. Ok great. I had my mass airflow sensor replaced and also paid for the Fuel Injection Cleaning Service they recommended. Paid a little over 500 bucks for everything including the oil change. I was there for 5 hours even though I had an appointment.Literally 6 days later (last night) the service engine light comes on again. I take it in this morning to see if its the same code or what and get a diagnostic. First of all they run the code and its a fuel code saying it was running rich but couldn't tell me for sure if it was the same code from last week because they didn't write it down and it had been cleared. Ok not super helpful but whatever.They tell me the mass airflow sensor is putting out good readings so the new one they put in is fine. That's weird because I don't remember them testing my old one last week to see what its readings were before replacing it - Dom told me they were recommending it because it was the most common fix not because it had bad readings... Then he disappears for a while and comes back to tell me this week its the Purge Solenoid AND the Oxygen Sensor for a total of 423.00.I ask him how he knows that these are what needs to be replaced (since I got burned a week ago) and he said its because they are putting out bad readings. I ask why they didn't see these readings last week and why this wasn't recommended to me before and he can't really explain it to me he just stars making weird analogies about math problems. I took my quote and left. I was there for 2 hours just to get a code read and a quote.Last week Dom kept telling everyone how a manager and a technician were out sick and or covered a day for someone else and they were overbooked. He also told me the "oil change guy" was doing my diagnostic but he had "some diagnostic experience." (At one point the oil change guy was taking a nap in my car.) I basically feel like they didn't want to deal with actually testing and figuring things out that day so they just tried to do a quick fix with the mass airflow sensor at my expense. I wish they had asked me to come back another day if they were too busy to fully diagnose it. I find it weird that the first time I came in they basically told me it was impossible to diagnose without ripping into the engine but this time they are doing all kinds of readings and whatever and supposedly know what is wrong. I am just so confused. I want to fix my car but I don't want to get swindled.Don't waste your time here. Dom is not great to work with he is very nice but does not explain things well and overall the shop is not efficient. Why have someone there who is just an oil change guy? It seems like they prefer to just do a lot of oil changes. I would hesitate to come back here if I needed a diagnostic even though they have done good work for me in the past.

Just about the only shop in Vegas I could get same day diagnostics. Team was friendly and accommodating. Owner was even around and introduced himself. You can tell he appreciates his team. Thanks for helping me out even though you were unable to service the manufacturers warranty.

Our alternator went out and the car literally died on the parking lot 5 min after they closed. However, they took the car in so it wouldn't sit out overnight. They were able to fix it first thing in the morning.After the first alternator was defective, they were able to replace it a second time under warranty.Service: Battery

I came in so so worried because I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car, and the general manager, I believe his name was Tim (?), relieved all my worries! He promised he would take care of anything I needed, and went to assess the issue! Thankfully, he came back and said it was as simple as an oil change -- but that he noticed one of my tires were also flat, so he helped me pick out the right tire that I could AFFORD (thank goodness!!!) and got me and my vehicle out of there and back on the road. PLUS! I didn't have to spend an entire day and my life's savings! Thank you, Tim!!! Services: Tires, Oil change

If I could give more stars, i would! I had a major oil leak and my AC was not working. Two other shops were unable to fix my AC including the dealership and they did!! Aly was quick, efficient and honest. Very accommodating and I will never go anywhere else. Highly recommend!!!!!! Parts got here in 30 minutes. Definitely coming back.

It's okay but the staff aren't professional. I hate being called "Boss". That's lazy and disrespectful. Call me my my name or just do business with me without any name or title. Staff smokes close to the waiting room, they play loud rock music, and the person running the office let one of his friends eat lunch at the table in the waiting. If they're this sloppy just imagine what they're doing to your car. Oh, forgot to add, their online reservation process didn't work, not just for this store but every other store in Las Vegas.

I was nervous to take my car in and get played but I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service. He explained everything in a way that made sense and told me what I need. I didn t leave feeling ripped off and my car is running great now. I previously had gone into this location to have my transmission fluids changed out as my manual suggested along with I was having some problems with my car. Instead of doing what I asked they tried to sell me on an 800 dollar part that has turned out to not be necessary. Unbelievably upset that they were only focused on selling me something instead of listening to what I needed. I will never give them my business and everyone else will know how greedy they are as well.

Midas is there for you. I called around several places to get a simple vehicle inspection and everyone sounded irritated and couldn't fit me in. When I called Midas they were friendly and said come right in anytime before we close and will fit you in. When I arrived Tim was helping others enthusiasticly. Then my turn came up and Tim was awesome. He relieved my nerves and my car was just fine. I took his advice and will use Midas to maintain the health of my car so I can prevent major repairs and control costs. Thank you Tim and team Midas for taking such good care of me. Just wanted to say Mike and his team are the best in Vegas!Stopped in this morning around 8am, with no appointment. Told Mike that I was having issues with my battery. He said told me that it wasn t a problem, and would have my car up and running in 30 mins. After all the work was completed he gave me a price, I ended coming up short about 70$. He just told me not to worry about it. (I owe you one mike!). After getting in my car, I noticed that not only was the battery problem fixed. They also changed my oil for me!!Can t go wrong with these guys!Only place I m recommending to my friends and family! THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!Services: Battery, Oil change

Midas on Tropicana was fantastic. Tim took care of me, and turned my Midas experience completely around.I've had a horrible experience with the Midas on Nellis which they are permanently closed. I don't like when people lose their jobs, but when your management is horrible, and the technicians are even worse unfortunately this is what happens. I could tell you what happened to me at the Nellis location, but there's just not enough space to type and I'm not giving them anymore of my time and energy.I gave 5 stars to Midas because the treatment and service that I received from Tim over at the Tropicana location out weighs the horror story I experienced at Reuben Kelly's location btw Reuben I don't need your free oil change. THANKS SO MUCH TIM!!! YOU'RE AMAZING!!

Great Family run shop! I've finally found a shop in the neighborhood that I can trust and know that I will be getting top quality care and service. Had a complete AC repair done and could not be happier with the quality of the job. Excellent mechanics who will be straight with you and follow up. Shout out to Derrick and Ever who really are great mechanics and still know what customer service is! If you want something done right to your vehicle, Come here!
