Firstly, im not gonna mention the name, but the customer service i received on 04/09/2024 was not up to par. I went online to schedule an appointment and received a call with a different appointment time, no biggie. I get there, and they dont take cards under 100 dollars, u have to pay with cash, walked next door to get cashback, ok no biggie, just to walk back into Midas and be told that the 24.99 deal they have can t be given to me because they did not have the oil. I walked out because it was just too many inconveniences and a waste of my time. I called another Midas and was told, people normally dont ask if we have a particular oil in stock. Felt weird to even ask but i was told something completely different than this office. I dont know if he was just having a bad day but it would of been nice to know the other oil for 49.99 was what was recommended for my car due to high mileage. I will be going to the new Midas location instead.

Randy your store manager was so awesome. When I drove up to your store, I didn't know exactly what I needed from my car and red day was very nice and explained everything and told me exactly what I need for the car and didn't try to sell amino access or no extra, he says this is what you need. This is what's gonna get your car back in order again. Randy was awesome and then David the mechanic. He took the time out. He put everything together and it was just awesome. You have an awesome team there. I suggest that you keep Randy there with the mechanics that we have. Because that will be my sure that I will be visiting regarding my cars. So I will be bringing them to that store. And that store only when I find a mechanic that I can appreciate and don't try to sell me extra. I stay there for a while. I think you so much. You guys said a beautiful job.

One of the oddest experiences I've had at a service shop to date. Strolled in looking for a simple oil change on a truck. Started to get set up giving my info and the truck info. In conversation I mentioned how it is my elderly neighbors vehicle and because of her Parkinson's we drive her specifically to and from her doctors appointments but other than that is doesn't get used so it's time for an oil change. He then said he couldn't service the vehicle at all because it doesn't belong to me. Said it's a Nevada law and we could get in big trouble for that. Well I looked it up, contacted my personal vehicle mechanics and confirmed that what I was told is not true. So I took it to pep boys up the street out of convenience, had a laugh with them over the story, and they had no problem doing the oil change for us ten minutes later.

I have video of a worker at this location looking me in the eye and telling me that the manager Randy (really named Ranbir, but goes by Randy to throw people off) tells his employees to lie to customer to "string them along"I also witnessed employees having a hard time getting parts because the manager/owner had not paid the company credit card and vendors were refusing to send parts.I'm not exaggerating. If I could post the 7 minute long video of the counter employee telling me how dishonest Ranbir is with his employees, I would.This franchise is run by a liar (that is the opinion of the franchise's own employees, not mine) who can't even pay his own bills (employee's words, not mine)

Took my car to get an oil change car we running good. After getting getting the oil change I drove off not even 2 miles my car starts to over heat. Took it back to Midas to see why it s overheating. Randy the owner states that his lead mechanic Eric was coming back from lunch and he we look at it. Randy then brings my car into the garage and began inspecting it without Eric. Randy then comes backs and stated I have a cooling leaking from the holes that they did not touch. He states there is nothing he can do as they didn t touch it. I then explained to him when I brought the car to the shop nothing was leaking. When the man who did the oil change didnt state anything about a leak when he did the inspection prior to the oil change. Randy then states he is the owner and there nothing he can do. I then told Randy I will come back with my lawyer then she went and got Eric. Eric then went to grab a red tool box and stated to fix under the hood. Randy continued to say it s hot in temperature outside which caused the hole to leak. He then claims that it was leaking before and I just didn t know and whoever did the repair do did wrong. I paid 1500 to get a my whole coolant system replaced over 6 months ago. He then had one of the workers refill it with coolant. When driving off call didn t not over heat. Randy was so rude and unprofessional. My car was messed up thinking I was as going to pay extra to get it fixed. Then when I brought it to there attention they fixed it and stated they didn t touch it . But now the problem is fixed I would never come back here. I will definitely tell everyone I know and make sure nobody ever comes back there to do there service. Randy need to sell his shop to someone who can manage and work on cars because he is not it !

Unfortunately just found out I took my car here to get an oil change last time to find out my oil pan was sealed and no one bothered to let me know. Just beware to check in case they try to cover up their mistakes.

Safe and Trustworthy:We were passing through the area on a family road trip with a grinding sound in the brakes. We stopped in, and Tanner took excellent care of us from start to finish. He showed me what was going on and got us back on the road ASAP with peace of mind for my family - and he even provided us with travel recommendations to keep my family even safer on our trip!Tanner is extremely competent, his character is outstanding, and the environment was safe for my family while in an unfamiliar part of the country. I needed rear struts replaced on our car and made an appointment to have them replaced. The work was done quickly and I was kept updated through the entire process. I have had other repairs done at this shop and have always been pleased with the service I have received. I thought I d be safe taking out all my money, wrong. The clerk was egotistical/smug/rude. Not to mention my car was returning with multiple grease marks on the glove compartment as well as leaves and papers scattered. Not a good experience. I ve been sticking with valvoline since.

Went in to see what was causing the check engine light to stay on. The first time they said it was in need of a tune up. Check engine light came back on second visit they did the road package, check engine light was still on plus it was backfiring a bit so we went to one of their competitors who not only figured out what was the cause but charged far less than Midas.This particular location has a nasty habit of over charging it s customers and causing more issues than solutions. They take advantage of their customers suppose lack of knowledge of auto repair and suggest possible solutions which often times than not cause more problems and thus charge gullible customers more. They took advantage of my mom who is a senior citizen by having for a tune up she didn t need and pretend to fix the items listed on their road care package only to have one of the tires in the exact location as before state the tire is low.Plus the air filter was place on backwards.They also damage my brother s vehicle to the point he wasn t able to steer the wheel because Midas broke it.Don t ask any questions to the associates at Midas. They will berate you. My mom asked she was chewed out. It s a waste of time &money going here. There are more qualified auto repair stores and this ain t one of them. The credit card is just as bad. You pay the minimum they end up harassing you day in and day out. They threatened to add a late fee. The second time they constant call you asking where is their money? I m paying for stuff that was was suppose to fix my car either it wasn t competed or it was the wrong itemUpdate: some time ago the owner either sold or was fired from this particular location. He also refused to pay employees for their services. I overheard from one former employee who transferred because he wasn t getting paid.

I've gone here twice, and the people who work here are amazing! They are very upfront, very honest, and they're always willing to work within my budget and tell me what can wait and what needs to be done right away. They always try to give me the best deal and have so many options to pay . I had a situation where I lost my wallet and we were able to figure out a way for me to pay through my phone and I could not have been more grateful for them going out of their way to help me! I will always come here for my cars mechanical needs, they treat people right and they are fair!Services: Brakes, Oil change

**BEWARE** THIS AUTOSHOP IS HORRIBLE!!! I TOOK MY TRUCK TO GET FIXED AND THEY CALLED ME TO TELL ME THAT IT WAS STOLEN FROM THEIR SHOP, APPARENTLY THEY LEAVE THE KEYS INSIDE THE VEHICLES TO JUST GET STOLEN AND THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, SEEMS MORE LIKE AN INSIDE JOB!

BEWARE... this place is a rip-off. Had a diagnostic ran on my vehicle. Paid 110.00 to be told my radiator fans were bad and it would cost in or around 1300.00 something didn't feel right so I went to a different shop. Guess what? There are no issues with my vehicle other than needing a new battery. Stay away!

Got my transmission flushed and few days later my transmission starting jumping. Took it to Ford and they said the transmission oil fluid was not filled and set to the right level. Had to get a transmission overhaul. I let Midas know and they gives me 4 free oil changes. I figured they can't screw up an oil change. So I take it back to get an oil change and they stripped the drain plug screw. They tell me they fixed the problem. Next morning my oil leaked all over my driveway! Added oil and took it to Ford. They discovered they used a spark plug, a dang spark plug to plug the drain plug!! I call back let them know I had to buy a brand new oil pan...they're response..they offer me more free oil changes!!! Took the car in to get the ac fixed. Charged me 1200. Ac still don't work. Then they told me the work they did had nothing to do with the ac.... they also cost me 3 days because after they inspected the vehicle they didn't put it back together correctly and when I came to pick it up the gas pedal did nothing.

$6000 in debt to this branch with a car that will barely run and I do delivery for a living. Been told for over a month that there is a paperwork problem after the engine I purchased promptly fell apart. A MONTH for paper work (I have a warranty for the engine they sold me). I can't get the franchisee to contact me at all, I have twice walked into the office and flat out told the person working "If I do not hear from the franchisee by the end of the week I am looking for attorneys" and they swear to god they'll call me back by the end of the day, but nine, ten business days go by and I hear nothing. Last time I was in the store before all this started the owner pulled everyone in the back and practically screamed at them for being useless and never following through with their word, and jesus christ I can see why now.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Place is garbage technicians look like tweakers walked in three people sitting in the lobby no cars in the stalls workers started putting chains across the bay doors as if they were closing up an hour and a half early. Ask the guy sitting at the counter who wasn't doing anything but staring at a computer if there was enough time to get an oil change in. Rudely replied I'm helping another customer at the moment I told him it was just a quick question felt that was a very rude response you could say yes or no that's all you had to do needless to say you didn't get my business and I won't be returning

Also had some other issues with my car I wasn't aware of ,such as a need of new tires,but Randy helped me get that sorted out as well as a great deal on tires.Will be back for more maintenance work.Service: Electrical

Midas gets 5 stars for best turn around parking lot in all of southern nevada.

*update midas did reply asking me to reach out to corporate to get things handled. It's been a while and no answer from them. They don't seem to care for customersI work out of state and bought a vehicle that I knew needed work done. These guys accepted to look at it for me, in particular the overheating issue it was having. I needed the car ready to have family drive it out of state for me. Turns out they told me they fixed my overheating issue by swapping out the thermostat, radiator fan, and radiator cap. They also mentioned a few more things that needed to be done.1. O2 sensors were having an issue but I declined that because I don't need that in the area to get vehicle registered.2. A new starter, that one I accepted3. New spark plugs and wires because of a misfire, this I declined because the family member I had drop it off felt no misfires. Figured if it did start happening I'd take care of it then.So fast forward to when family needed this car...they end up with a car thats still overheating. Now that I've finally gotten away from work to look at the car, the first thing I see is coolant in my oil!I call today 02/01/2021 and speak to Randy at the news location where I got the work done. Initially I was calling just to complain so that they lay better attention but Randy led me to this route of writing a review. He claims I refused a diagnostic on the vehicle which could be why they missed the coolant issue. Yet the only diagnostic I refused was to find out which O2 sensor was bad. Then he goes on to say that I should read what the invoice says so that I can be informed on what I refused and how he has no need to continue arguing with me because he wasn't working the months when I had the vehicle in plus me refusing the diagnostic on the O2 sensor is apparently why they missed coolant in my oil.End of the day you can't trust these guys. They will just try to up sell work you don't need and ignore the things they have no clue how to do.What a joke of a shop and mechanics!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I went to get an oil change in August I thought they had done an awesome job but turns out that today that I took it somewhere else to get an oil change they tell me that half my screws are missing, one screw was threaded and the plastic skid plate was missing. It is impossible to have all that missing prior because I had just purchased my car from the dealership. I am very disappointed and aggravated about the service done.

Had $1400 of work done week before. Still have noise up front. Called 28 March was tolled to busy to look at today. Manager will be in Tuesday. Went in, manager won't be in til after 9. They want another 1200. Asked for manager to call me. It is now 31 mar, still no call. Will not go back to midas for anything. Thanks for nothing. Dave said he told manager I needed the other parts, but she failed to put on list. Dave was great.

I got my car serviced at the Midas shop on Nellis. Very happy with their Professional Service. Very friendly and helpful and got my work done. Let me know what I needed to do and what could wait. Very honest and that's appreciated. Will be a regular here.

Not in a million years would I have my car worked on here. I had heard of horrible inspections where they jack up the price but had never witnessed it. Well I got a FULL dose today. Came in for a front brake job on my 03 grand prix. After waiting an hr for there inspection to b done before any work can b done. ( What I was told). And was informed that my 300 dollar brake job I thought I was getting is now over 1600 and I need my hub replaced and ALL the brakes and rotors replaced and a system flush. I told him to put the tires back on my car. Got charged 30 bucks for wasting my time for there inspection and I left. Thanks for nothing midas. Will NEVER to a midas again. Sadly y'all confirmed the horror stories and added another to y'all's legacy.
