Las Vegas Transmission was a tremendous help when our transmission went out on a long road trip home. Louie was extremely helpful, answered our call early on a holiday Sunday morning. He met us at his shop and was able to lock it in his secured yard and then gave us a ride to the airport to fly home. He was able to get the parts and repair our vehicle, test drive it, and then pick us up at our hotel to deliver our car so we could drive it home. He was straight forward, communicated well, price was exactly what he quoted and he used quality parts. He even called while we were driving home to make sure all was good. He definitely went above and beyond and we would recommend him hands down!!!!

Las Vegas Transmission Co just finished up my truck last week. It's a 2005 Dodge Ram diesel, which are known for not having the best transmissions from the factory.Louie (the owner) was great to deal with and extremely knowledgeable about transmissions, especially in this truck. The price was very reasonable. He looked over my entire truck and gave me a few recommendations to improve it as well.I will definitely utilize Las Vegas Transmission Co if any of my other vehicles need transmission work in the future.

Louie and Alfredo were the best! I called Louie on a Friday evening, explaining what was happening and he nailed it and had me bring it into the shop the following week. I dropped it off in the morning and got a follow-up call shortly after with the diagnosis and the repairs that needed to be completed. It's hard to find a good mechanic that knows transmissions and will tell you straight what needs to be replaced/repaired. 10/10 would recommend this shop to anyone. Louie is great and to the point. Not to mention the best shop dog!

I originally brought my car to him because I had all neutrals in my th400. I was just gonna have him rebuild it because I was told the front pump seal was leaking. Louie Calantoni saved me some money and fixed the shifting issues rather than rebuilding the transmission. Come to find out, the front pump seal wasn t leaking. It was the shift selector seal and the pan. He dropped the pan, fixed the shifting issues, sealed it all up and we are good to go. Definitely coming back to him with any transmission issues. This man was in his pajamas on Thanksgiving taking care of my car.

I highly recommend this place. My car had a transmission leak and didn't sound right when I accelerated. I talked to Louie and had the car towed in not knowing exactly what was wrong except that it was leaking and sounded off. After checking it out Louie informed me the engine mounts needed to be replaced and the transmission cover was broke and needed to be changed. The car runs great again. He could have ripped me off because I was already expecting the worst, but instead gave me an honest diagnosis and completed everything at a fair price. What a relief to find an honest place that I can count on for any future repairs. Thanks again Louie.

I took my car here a while back to get my shift solenoid issue fixed; they did a fantastic job and really took care of me. Price was honestly the best I could get.. Louie and his guys love what they do. I'm glad to have met Louie and have work done by him and his team. Also, his dog Precious was adorable! If they would answer the phone, that would be better not a good way to start it off. And the guy Louise was very rude on the phone and hung it up on me. I would not take my stuff here.

I called to get a scan on my transmission for my 2000 F350. I explained to Louie what was going on and he said it s not your transmission. The hose blew off your intercooler! Louie saved me thousands on a new transmission. He gave me a ride back to the hotel, drove it around, dropped the pan and figured out the problem. This guy shoots from the hip, pretty rare these days. My transmission has never run better. Drove from Vegas to Mesquite with a 13k trailer, transmission shifted like it was supposed to and never even got above 200�. When the time comes to get a new transmission, I know where I'm getting it done. Lou thanks so much for making the time for me and my truck.

I dealt with a botched transmission rebuild from a local mechanic. It leaked and after multiple trips back to the shop, there was no resolve.At this point, I had to find someone to repair the leak. As I researched transmission shops, I was immediately impressed with the fantastic reviews. I am so fortunate to have found Louie and his crew. I encountered fair, honest and professional service beyond my expectations. The transmission is completely leak free and the experience was a beyond my expectations! I googled "where is the best place to take your car for a transmission"..and several came up. But, after reading the reviews for Las Vegas Transmission Co. just based on the GOOD REVIEWS I decided to bring my '2007 Chevrolet Avalanche here. I called them up and spoke to the owner Louie - he's awesome and very helpful!!! I had never met him or even went down to the shop but, based on his reviews and conversation over the phone and him throwing in the FREE towing I let them pick up my truck. My truck was repaired within 3 days. My truck battery was dead from sitting until I could afford for the repair of the transmission and Louie charged it for me. He wanted to insure that once I picked up my truck I was good to go and that is EXACTLY what he did without extra charges for things that he also took care of for me. His price was very affordable based on the other prices that I had been being quoted as well. I most definitely recommend this place!!!!! THANK YOU LOUIE you are a life saver. GOD BLESS YOU!!!!! And I will see you soon for the motor mounts for our truck. Robin :)

I brought my truck to luie after another mechanic diagnosed my 1, 2 and 4th gear loss as needing a rebuild so I contacted luie at LVT for a rebuild so he checked my truck over and said he wanted to test some things just to make sure my trans needed a rebuild and not to charge me for repairs not needed so he did and what he found wasn't a transmission issue at all but another issue which was MUCH cheaper then a rebuild would have cost. He literally saved me 1000s of dollars. He could have taken advantage and ripped me off and had prime opportunity to do so but instead was honest and 100% trust worthy about the real issue. He's wasn't out to make a buck dishonestly but to be honest with his diagnosis and build his clientele in an honest manner. Anyone reading this should know that Luie has integrity and WONT rip you off he wont upsale you he wont manipulate and or lie to you to get your money!! His prices are more then fair And he really is one of the last honest mechanics around and deserves your business.

Las Vegas transmission thumbs up to this local business...Louie is far the best guy to work with any tranny issue. I had a problem with my Ram while having my rig in the dealership for a week being supposedly diagnosed, they said that I needed a new transmission with my 36 thousand miles to be exact scum bags little that I found out from Louie that it was my transfer case all along the only reason why I brought it to the dealer is because of my warranty which I now cancelled never again ! Louie I thank you for being a straight shooter and up front with me from the beginning till the end of the process...Its hard to find real shops anymore like yours ,your one of the few that's keep it real with no BS..thanks again bud,more power to your business and thank you for being solid..Aloha

I am writing this one year after a complete rebuild of a bus/rv transmission. These guys were great to do business with- they even let me ask way too many questions and see parts of the transmission that were getting rebuilt. I forgot the name of the gentleman that did the rebuild, but you can tell he is a wealth of experience, knowledge, and cares about the quality of work he does.My bus/rv transmission one year later- with a long drive to Texas- is running fantastic.

This shop is genuine, with hard working sincere people making it happen. Compliments to Louie and the crew (Mark, Martin and Alfredo). They are busy so keep that in mind as you are not getting all that nonsense and high prices u get at the dealer. They guarantee their work!!

My husband had his 96 impala transmission rebuilt. The job was priced very reasonably with great turnaround time, very professional and service was excellent, will definitely recommend and use them in the future. Ask for Louie he s a great guy.

Our transmission shop in Salt Lake City had a customer with problems while visiting Vegas. Judging from our customer's feedback, he was excellently handled with minimum downtime. First, I want to tell you "Thank you!", we really appreciate you taking care of our customer. Second, we know you guard your reputation closely as we do ours. Don't let the only 1-star review from a customer who never stepped foot in your shop get you down. It's bound to happen Thanks, Louie!

I m exceptionally pleased with service here! Had a th350 rebuild out of my 68 firebird. Stall converter was still in good shape and was re-used to save me money. Honest guy with a lot of character, not just another sassy New Yorker! We need more guys like this in Vegas! I initially had trouble getting the car towed to his shop and I m sure he was probably thinking I was flaking out on the appointment, but no, AAA couldn t make it to my rescue - Louie helped me arrange for a tow there and back and in record time. Car was done in just under 72 hours. not only that but i had a mystery pulley issue going on that i just happened to mention (Pontiac engines are temperamental little Divas) and he and his team helped me get it fixed on the spot. They went above and beyond!! This place gets a A++ from me!Service: Transmission

I was stuck in Vegas and ppl were telling me it would take a week before they could look at my truck. Luey fit me in eventhough he was overbooked and fixed my truck. The service was excellent and they gave me a fair price i would recommend anyone to this shop and the integrity shown by this company not to try and overcharge me will never be forgotten. Stopped in because my car wasn t shifting into second gear properly. I went for a test drive with Alfredo I believe. He adjusted the throttle cable and let me know it was just that. Huge relief. I ll definitely be back to do some custom work!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I contacted Louis about a potential Transmission problem when we were in Tonopah Nv.and backing our Fifth Wheel into our RV spot. I put the transmission into reverse and there was no reverse or power! Turned off our 2004 Ford F-350 6.0 Powerstroke Diesel. Waited about 15 minutes and tried again, everything seemed back to normal.! Was very concerned something was seriously wrong, so checked online for a good Transmission Shop in Las Vegas, as that was our next stop. Found Las Vegas transmission shop had very good reviews,so called them. Louis answered the phone and immediately I knew we had found a concerned,honest individual. What a relief! We made it into Vegas that day and took the truck to Louis the next morning. He performed a diagnostic check and found it wasn t a transmission problem,but an engine issue.! He has a good friend that is a FANTASTIC MECHANIC AND A TRULY HONEST PERSON. Louis took the time and led us over to his shop and introduced us to him. He checked everything out and took the time to explain to us what had occurred with our truck.We just can t say enough good things about Louis and Las Vegas Transmission Co.We are from a small town in Washington State, just traveling to Yuma Arizona for the winter, and these local Las Vegas Companies made us feel like there are still some totally HONEST, KIND, AND CONCERNED, people that actually CARE about treating others the right way.Neither Louis or his friend would accept any payment for what they did for us.Thanks again,Ted and Cindy Bruce.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic
