Noe and his team are the best mechanics I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Very honest and up front. Takes care of what you need. Makes great recommendations. Doesn't upsell. Is extremely knowledgeable & their automotive expertise is top tier. I happily come halfway across town to get all my vehicles serviced here when it's due or for any vehicle repairs/concerns. I m never going to another shop, they are wonderful! I was originally referred to i am mechanics through Carvana. The vehicle I purchased had issues that they were able to resolve and get covered under the warranty company. I was so impressed with their communication and honesty that they gained a loyal customer. Highly recommend!!

Needed a car repair that the nearby Toyota service center quoted over $1,700 for, but we brought in a replacement engine water pump for our 2012 Toyota Prius to I Am Mechanic and they were nothing but welcoming, charming, and honest.They gave us a price that was previously unimaginable (that could NOT be beat) for the work that had to be done and they had our car ready the very next morning.I Am Mechanic has great prices, are very knowledgeable about what needs to be done, and did an awesome repair job.Highly recommend. :)

Do not go here!!! They are a huge scam and scamming veterans and college students by charging visual diagnostic fees, knowing that a warranty company does not cover it, yet lie to their customers that they do. On top of charging the warranty and sent the final invoice to the warranty company, miguel the manager, informed us the the car is only 1/4 done but that the car can be picked up. Yet, they sent the final invoice to CARSHIELD the warranty company, and informed them that the car was completed. But informed us that its ok to drive with bad motor mounts and bring it back in later on next week once parts arrive and pay for their diagnostic fee and deducible today. DO NOT GO HERE! CARSHIELD has informed us to file complaints since they have already been paid out. I'll be contacting the BBB and attorney general to a complaint, and also noticing the local news.Update: Actually you did inform my son from the beginning that it was covered and for your mechanic to state that "it's odd that Carshield didn't cover this" and after speaking with Carshield, they informed us that you guys decided to do that "visual diagnostic. No other mechanic shop here in Vegas that I have used charged a separate extra fee, I have had Carshield for over 5 years with many claims they have never not covered a diagnostic especially if the part is covered. Now it's fine that you want to have your extra charges thats fine but the lying and also Carshield even stated that the car has been completed and you already sent out the final invoice and have been paid, but didnt realize the car isnt even finished. I do no care what you excuse you are going to have, that seems down right shady. That is why you are getting this review, you will get paid as soon as this job is done correctly and completed and I have every right to post and show this story so everyone else doesn't get scammed and can proceed with caution.

I had a problem with the emission on my vehicle. When I called I am mechanics, they picked up right away. I talked to Noe who was very friendly, and told me that I was able to bring in my vehicle the next day.When I brought in my vehicle, Noe told me exactly what the issue was and the best part was he was able to fix it the same day! The price he quoted me was very reasonable. So happy I went with this place. It s been 2 weeks now and my check engine light has not turned on. Thank you Noe!

I had a massive oil leak and alignment issue before bringing it to IAM. Noe clearly articulated what was going on with the car and invited me for a deeper inspection of the car's underbelly. He shared where a lot of corners were cut (I bought the car used) and how in the long term, it may cost me more money down the road. Noe spent time asking questions to understand better the history of the car instead of making assumptions--this in itself is the mark of wise tech. He was compassionate about my situation and provided me with an itemized breakdown for me to decide. Throughout the repair process, Noe stuck to deadlines and could be reached easily. I have found a mechanic for life and feel grateful to have honest mechanics like Noe and Tony.

This is an honest mechanic shop!!!! Go to them!!! I drove from my home in Simi Valley, California to Las Vegas, 45 minutes before Las Vegas I noticed smoke coming out of the back of my car when I accelerated. Concerned I need major engine work, I limped into town and called approx 10 garages. One mechanic told me it would cost thousands, I would need to leave a $2000.00 deposit and leave my car for two weeks. Another told me it was going to be expensive. They had not even looked at it. I got a good feeling from I Mechanics, took it in and was told a loose plastic flap under my car was rubbing on my tire! I m a woman alone and out of state. I paid a small fee for the repair and was on my way. These gentlemen are professional and honest and really saved my trip. THANKS GUYS!!!

Went in for a checkup and oil change and the man said I needed $607 in work done to my transmission. It seemed over the top so I called a few other places around town: $260 for the transmission flush. Not only did he try to charge me for excess quarts of cvt fluid but also a pan gasket change that did not need to be done. I went to auto-nation and they did everything great for me!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Best service I've ever received from a mechanic. I don't know much about cars and I was afraid to visit auto services here in Las Vegas but Tony was able to explain every bit of problems visually and verbally. They provided me with personal and honest opinions and recommendations for my car and what I should and shouldn't do. Price for parts and labor is very affordable. I appreciate everything they've done for me. Would definitely be my go to place if I lived here for a long time.

Noe is fantastic. Such a good natured and honest man. He really helped me out when my catalytic converter was stolen. Saved me thousands of dollars. Now this is my spot for oil changes and any mechanical needs. Thanks so much, you guys!

I was passing through Vegas pulling a travel trailer in 115 degree summer for summer vacation. Our truck was acting funny and took it to them for their good reviews online. Although an inconvenience, they took the time to help me work through the issue and get back on the road, saving our family vacation and helping me feel A LOT better. I would have paid whatever they charged, but they didn't take advantage of me- I'm really grateful. NIce to know there are honest mechanics out there looking to help people.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

This guy is great. We have taken two of our vehicles here (over the past year) and recommend it to everyone looking for good quality, good priced work. He does take a little longer than other garages or dealerships, yet when you see the quality and get the bill its well worth it. Love his honesty too. Love this garage!!!

Had AC problems on my dodge ram a few weeks ago. didn t know were to take it. but a friend told me about I am mechanics. when there and they fixed it in about two hours thanks i am mechanics .

Just want to say thanks much to all the staff of i am mechanics. This is my 2nd time coming here. 1st visit they fixed my A/C issues. 2nd visit got my car Tuned up. As always their Customer Service is Excellent. they are very professional with their work. They will give you a very thorough explanation of whats wrong with your car and what needs to be replaced. Also they have a very reasonable price for any services you may need. These guys are awesome. I really feel they truly care about my car. And they definitely earned my Trust. Thanks again.

Very friendly and very efficient. I was having issues with my Ford f150 starting and was told it could be the battery even though I replaced it not too long ago. The guys here were friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable. They found out my issue. Worked with me. And got it fixed before I had to work. They're honest and honestly, I recommend them 100 fold.

As a women, I have been taken advantage of by many mechanic businesses to the point that I don t trust even my Hyundai dealership. Until I found I am Mechanic, the staff there are honest and trustworthy. They take the time to explain what s wrong, show me and even ask my advice on the parts I want. They have me involved and I feel confident in everything they suggest. All the other mechanic businesses need to realize that if they want to keep customers, they need to treat them with honesty and respect. Thank you I Am Mechanic

Highway robbery! $160 dollars for a diagnosis. Their word: compressor not working, possibly burned out. Feel I got little value for the price as I had to wait 3 hours. Quote on replacement/repair verbal......$1,876. Exorbitant. Outrageous. Took to another mechanic. Diagnosis $10. Labor cost of replacement $120. Brought my car in yesterday, Friday 05/01/2020 at 230pm to have my a/c looked at. It was blowing warm air, and now that it's already 100 degrees, I needed it checked. Noe asked a few questions about what's going on with it, and took it right in. He said he would be able to have something figured out by about 4. I decided to hang around. He came in to give me an update a bit later that it's low on refrigerant, but he also thinks the expansion valve could be bad, but he wanted to do a bit more digging. He really knew his stuff. Turns out he was right, and he said if I wanted, I could leave it overnight and he'd have the valve replaced by this morning. At 10:07 this morning, I got the call to come get it with cold air coming out. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs car work! They are great! Thanks guys!

My older suburban had a weird issue and we are from out of town. I went in just based on reviews and the fact that they were open on a holiday. Noe was cordial, understanding and intelligent. We talked through my issue, he scanned the car and gave me some excellent advice. I did not have a major problem that needed to be fixed, but If I live in Las Vegas this would be my new mechanic shop. The shop is clean and well organized too.

I was on my way back from moving my parents from Seattle to Arizona and at about Lake Mead I lost 5th gear in my Dodge diesel pickup and I limped it into Las Vegas. I always go by reviews and only two shops looked hopeful. The first was a transmission shop down some ghetto alley with language issues and it was a junkie mess.I then went to "I Am Mechanics" and spoke to Noe, the shop manager and a very nice a young man. I have turned a wrench in my past and appreciate a guy who runs a clean shop. He runs it like his own garage and SHOULD BE MADE PARTNER before the absent owner loses him. He started to sort of brag to me that he had seen a few of these transmissions in his 7 years experience and I almost giggled. Anyway, his seven years of experience were obviously spent well. He explained what I was in for from best scenario to worst in great detail. I was nervous because of his age and the fact that it was not a transmission shop but a general mechanics shop. I had no choice though because I had to get back to work in Seattle. So I left the truck there and very nervously flew home. I was halfway sure I would be taken to the cleaners just because most shops would.It turned out to be a worst case scenario. The last mechanic had took some shortcuts and I wound up paying the price. Noe supported his findings with detailed pictures and explained it all. I had him rebuild the whole thing again nervous because it is not a transmission shop and that is one of the big specialty jobs in auto mechanics. Noe showed me why dealer parts are really better in this case so I spent the extra money.Anyway I just got time off again and went down and drove the truck back. I couldn't be happier. Noe's guys did a top notch job. VERY IMPRESSED. He should have his own shop! DO YOU HEAR ME OWNER!!!

I have been here twice. 1st time on a Saturday. They were busy and took me anyway. Fast efficient and affordable. As affordable as car repair is. The 2nd time, again they took me right in. Fast delivery of the part and I was out of there in no time. I've had no problem at all from those repairs. Excellent service. I'd recommend them to a friend. And if my luck holds out on my vehicle I won't have to go back. But if I had too, this is the place I would go.

Noe and his guys are great. They saved me time and money. Another shop told me I had 3 cracked belts so I went to I Am Mechanics for a second opinion. Turned out I only needed to replace one belt. I also had my brake pads replaced and very reasonably priced and fast. These guys are honest and have superior customer service.

This shop is incredible, Very good at explaining the problem and EXTREMELY honest as to what my options are. Me, my wife, and my kids will be using this shop for as long as we are living here. If you have been let down even a little bit from any mechanic out there, atleast give this place a try, I am so happy I did.P.S. Best transmission quote from anyone else is what drove me there in the first place. They rebuild the transmissions there and mine was ready faster than expected.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
