DECEPTIVE AND UNLAWFUL PRACTICES, FRAUD - Jeff charged me for mechanical services and parts that he did not provide on more than one occasion. I reported him to the BBB, am filling out the form for the NV Attorney General, sending a demand letter, and suing him civilly for damages.I drive a 2010 Honda Civic. When I first started going to Express Lube & Auto Repair I was still undergoing cancer treatment and had just moved to the area from Henderson after my landlord of 14 years passed away. It was a difficult time and I needed a trustworthy mechanic. Jeff came across as a nice and sincere guy and we had numerous conversations about our lives, his wife and I shared a birthday, then his very difficult divorce with him even telling me I cheered him up on a low day. He sent me a link for me and my son to get discount tickets to see him in the AGT show at the Luxor where he is a "random audience member" chosen who then participates in the show so he met my son who wears leg braces and depends on me for transportation. I felt like I had a friendly, trustworthy mechanic.I paid $1800 for some work in March of this year that included a transmission flush and a brake flush. Last week my car started making some strange knocking noises and my power steering was stiff again after Jeff had already worked on it twice. I called Jeff but the technician that answered the phone said they couldn't get me in until Monday and I probably wouldn't get it back the same day so I decided to take it over to Jiffy Lube on Tropicana to at least get an oil change. Eric Peyton, the General Manager heard the noise as I pulled up and immediately checked the dipstick for my transmission and walked it over to me (I was sitting in the car watching because that's how it's done there). The fluid was black and gunky. He told me it should be clear and red. He checked the system and said there were no leaks and there was absolutely no way the work was done in March. I even said I was going to call Jeff while I was there and he said yes, and tell him what I said. I then asked him to check and see if the brake flush was done. He put a little stick similar to the one to check swimming pool chemicals in and it turned purple. He showed me on the bottle that meant it needed to be done and also could not have just been done in March. I took a picture of that and immediately called Jeff, but Sadie answered the phone and said he was working on a car so I left a detailed message and asked her to have him call me.Eric checked the power steering as well and even though my receipt from Jeff shows I was charged for a new reservoir Eric showed me it is definitely not a new part. The clamps that Jeff had put on the hoses were all loose and my fluid was leaking out. This is after taking it to Jeff and having him replace the pump and then it leaked again and he replaced the hose.Jeff also did air conditioning work and I had to keep bringing it back in for that as well because he would tell me it was fixed and the very next day it wasn't working. This went on for weeks. He charged me to replace the condenser and then told me the new condenser they put in was bad but now I really wonder if that was the case. I had a few miserable hot days.So, I have paid for work twice and now I have to take my car to the Honda dealership to verify if the rest of the work and parts they charged me for was done and done correctly.Jeff called me back today and all he said was "I assure you that all of the work we said we did was done" He had no explanation for the transmission and brake fluid except to say that transmissions don't make noise when they are going out.I take my son to work at 5 am on the 215 freeway for a 30-minute drive and while I don't make a lot of money I try to take good care of my car. I am so disappointed. All I can do now is report him to the appropriate agencies, try to make it known on social media, and sue him which I will absolutely be doing. Be safe and don't take your car here and if you already have, get the work verified by another party!

Jeff is honest and I can always trust him to repair and maintain my car. I was quoted $800 worth of repairs at Findlay Honda down the street, but Jeff inspected my car for free and told me the repairs that my car actually needed. Fantastic and friendly service. I highly recommend!

Called in about an oil change. Recording says $47. Place is called express. Ended up taking over 45 minutes, and they charged me $79. When I asked about the price difference, guy laughed and said those are pre-covid prices. It's 2024. It's called false advertising. I won't be back. Terrible way to run your business.

Spit a spark plug, broken motor mounts and leaking water pump. First mechanic said my van was RIP but I brought it here and Jeff had me back on the road! 10/10 recommend!!

Express Lube is the only shop in Vegas that I ll trust my vehicle s or those of my family with. Jeff is a stand up guy and honestly is one of his virtues. What he says is the truth and he stands by his work. There is no better auto shop in or around Vegas

I have been using Jeff for the last three years. We have lived in Vegas for 13 years and this is the fourth place we have used for our vehicles. This will probably be the last. Jeff has been honest and has taken care of all of our vehicles. We have four currently with our two teenagers. I have found him to be trustworthy and he communicates with us on the status of the repair. Hard to find a good repair shop that you can trust.

The place I usually take my car is 30 minutes away, so I figured I would try another place that is much closer.I called Saturday to set an appointment for an oil change for Monday noon, the soonest available appointment. I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment, I filled out the form, and they took my car in.Everyone that works here is kind ! Everyone has amazing energy that you don t usually come across at car shops. The positivity is contagious. And these are honest people.I definitely will return !

I needed new brake pads and rotors, found this shop on Google. Jeff is great!He explained everything and was able to get my car back on the road today. Thanks Jeff! The magic was icing on the cake and made our day! I will be back for any future repair needs.

Jeff is great! I lost my mechanic to them out of town. I found Jeff here on Google and he didn't disappoint. Not only is he friendly and welcoming but he got great magic tricks. The few things that were great about my experience is he was able to get me in for a same day appointment, great price for my oil change, and his prices for my windshield wipers are cheaper than auto zone. I just found my new mechanic as far as I'm concerned. Thanks Jeff.

I Took it in for a diagnostic ONLY in 2020 to find the cause of my vehicle lacking acceleration , upon calling the shop at an appointed time as instructed by the customer service representative, I was informed that a new battery had been placed in my car I didn t know about or ask for..the issue was my Electronic throttle body, I asked why a battery was installed with no clear answer I asked for my car back without repairNot only was my car returned with an older used battery not the original one I took it in with, but my battery terminal is behind my front driver tire one of my lugs was mysteriously stripped, preventing me from being able to take my tire off to replace with another battery, out of pocket, because the battery someone put in against my Will was old and was not the original problem.I have a real issue with this to this day, I tried to call no answer, no one ever called back, no charges no response just a stripped tire lug and an old dusty battery.

Jeff was absolutely wonderful! I had to call around to acquire quotes for repairs after our company truck failed a SMOG check. He gave us a quote for diagnostics and a quick quote for repair once diagnostics were done.. Very impressed with his professionalism, he did not price gauge and went above and beyond to help us troubleshoot after repairs were done to make sure we could pass our smog check in time to do last minute registration. Happy to say our truck passed smog and we were able to renew registration without fines. Highly recommend Jeff & his team for anyone who is needing work done.. After searching the old inter-webs and checking reviews, I decided to bring my car to Express Lube for a noise in the engine compartment. Jeff listened to my issue and got my car in right away. His crew had my car diagnosed in 20 minutes and after a phone call to find parts necessary to make the repair, he had an estimate for me. Due to the professionalism of Jeff, and his staff, I decided to make the repair. Having some time to kill, I went next door and got some pizza. When I returned, I talked to Jeff, (also known as the Magic Mechanic) and found out he is not only an amazing mechanic but also a magician! He dazzled me with coin and card tricks. His staff brought my keys in and we discussed payment. His shop offers a 90 day same as cash option. Although I did not think I would qualify, I applied any way and got approved! I am very impressed with the service I received and the magic I got to witness! Although I live in centennial hills, Express is the only shop that will touch any of my vehicles from now on! Fair prices, honest and friendly!

Owner Jeff is great! Service prices are fair; he will not charge you an arm and a leg. I encourage tipping the tech when you get an oil change or air pressure check; just common courtesy. I've never had a problem after bringing my car to Jeff. He stands behind his work.

I have been coming here for the past 7-8 years. I am always satisfied with the level of service and knowledge the owner (Jeff) has. He has and always is a pleasure to get assistance from. As a customer it is very hard to find a mechanic that is genuine and honest as Jeff is! I will always recommend his shop. Both him and his daughter (Victoria) runs a pretty awesome shop! 5 out of 5 stars here!

They've never steered me wrong. It's hard to find a good mechanic one can trust, but Jeff has helped me out immensely and while he was helping me another man thanked him for helping him. You can tell he has rapport with his customers, and Victoria at the front desk is very kind, too. I honestly recommend this place to anyone because they can be trusted. Jeff says "You can help one person for a million dollars, or help a million people for one dollars" and he clearly embodies the latter ideology.

They do whatever it takes to find your specific issue, and won't stop until it's fixed, and done right. The prices are so reasonable that I was taken aback. They really go the extra mile (no pun intended) to make sure you leave as a satisfied customer, wanting to come back in the event of another issue.I've never met such awesome people. Jeff, Cheyenne, Derek, and Charlie are just the best. This is definitely the ONLY shop I'll ever go ton even though it's a ways away from where I live. From now on, I won't even get my oil changes from anyone else.Words cannot express just how thankful I am to these folks for what they've done to help me. I'm bringing all of my friends and family there for any work they need, and I greatly urge you to do the same. One time going there, and you'll see their dedication to customer service and truly honest mechanic work.If I could, I would give them 10/5 stars, and I won't ever take my work anywhere else. Not only did I get my entire car fixed for an awesome price, but I made some amazing and (hopefully) lifelong friends there.I seriously cannot say enough good about both the work that was done, and the service I received. I will NOT let my family or friends go anywhere else from now on.

I've had taken all my cars and I've had my family take their cars here whenever we need anything done. Oil changes, smog checks, tune up, and major repairs like transmissions. Jeff is a master mechanic and very reasonable. Some of the prices may not be the cheapest in town but there's a reason for that. Quality work and parts comes at a price, and you get what you pay for here.I haven't met a more professional or friendly mechanic in Las Vegas. When you leave this shop you know that your car or truck was taken care of and the service or repairs where done correctly and with attention to detail...

I have known Jeff for a few years. When I need someone who knows cars well, his team is the one I trust. I recently was in the market for used car. On short notice, he thoroughly inspected a potential purchase for me. The car had a branded (salvaged, then repaired) title. His inspection was a fair price for excellent service. He even stayed a few minutes after his closing time to make sure I was well taken care of. He took the time to personally explain things in layman s terms, which I appreciated. He also saved me hundreds (maybe thousands) of dollars in potential repairs by steering me away from buying a certain car. He inspected a second vehicle a short time later, and his report gave me the confidence to buy it. When my cars need attention, I know to whom I will turn!

I had an electrical problem on my car that was very frustrating to diagnose. It ended up being some wires that shorted out in addition to the motherboard. Jeff was amazing and was able to find me a refurbished motherboard and saved me hundreds of dollars. It took a little more time but saving that money made the repair affordable for me. I would happily go to him again and I refer the shop to all of my friends.

They are simply the only people I let work on my automobiles. Have to many stories of them going the extra mile one day literally, driving me to appointments and picking me up while my car was being repaired. And accepting my dog as honorary shop dog for the day. Always been given great service, fair prices, on the spot advice, and treat me and my auto as one of their own. Recommend them to all who drive and rely on their transportation to get the job done... Thanks to Jeff, Charlie, Cheyenne, and all for being a business all businesses should aspire to be.

Shop is sparkling clean. Jeff is a great mechanic and a friendly guy. He gives an honest assessment on your vehicle. I highly recommend his shop for all your vehicle needs whether your passing through or live in the Vegas metro.
