Great people to deal with. Competent. Fair prices. Takes a while to get in for repairs because they are such a good service center....but worth the wait because they are honest, competent mechanics. I've had numerous cars and trucks repaired over a 30 year time period....had an engine built...a few rearend gear changes, brakes serviced, transmission issues fixed, etc. I have absolutely NO regrets doing business here.

I'm so incredibly disappointed with Brick, the owner/manager of Dan's Driveline (he inherited the business from his uncle, who is Dan). I vetted the relationship with Brick for over a year, and spent over $10k with him. Sadly, that relation just ended, and let me tell you why. When I brought my vehicle to Brick, he quoted me $4500 for the work that needed to be done. When I arrived to pick it up, the invoice was $9,200. Not once did Brick tell me it would be more money. His reason was, "it took me more time because I had to do [this and that]." Brick knew I was undergoing cancer treatment at the time, which meant I had to ask my wife to use her credit card. She was not happy at all, but Brick said, "I'll just hold on to the vehicle until you can pay the bill." Honestly, I should have ended the relationship then and sued him. I would have won, but I decided to invest in the relationship. Well, a few months later the 4x4 shifter Brick installed melted. He installed it too close to the exhaust. I got stuck on the side of the road, with my family, on Mt. Charleston. Brick told me it was warranty work so I should bring it in and he will take care of it. After several months of waiting, finally, Brick said to bring it in. He said it would take an hour so I waited. 2.5 hours later, he texts me - does not even come up to the front to talk to me - that I have to pay for both his labor and the part. I texted him back, asking reasonably what about the warranty work, and he tells me it's not covered. He basically reinstalled it exactly the way it was in the first place - that failed. Then, in the most shocking display of childish behavior, Brick brings my vehicle back behind the gate, removes the part, tears up the invoice, and says, "take your vehicle someplace else." I really liked Brick so it pains me to have to sue him and tell this story, but what happened is inexcusable. So here we are. 1-star. You can't trust someone who charges, overcharges, and throws temper tantrums.

Not honest, hubby was charged more after he was given a set price. On top of not getting the correct item they put it on him. Definitely do not recommend!**update! 12/6. Husband went back after he was given a defective part, was treated way better and was not charged since it was not his fault, gonna give them another chance! Thank you for correcting the issue and providing better customer service !

Stopping through town and needed a gnarly rumble on the RV checked out. Called Wednesday afternoon, spoke to Ryan, and were able to stop in Thursday morning for a test drive so he could diagnose if it was something needing fixed immediately or if we could make it to our destination before getting work done. He was honest, intelligent, and easy to talk to. Turns out we can keep moving without an immediate fix, but we decided we're stopping back through on our way home to get it fixed at this shop. Hard to find a trustworthy mechanic at home, let alone on the road. But these guys at this shop seem legit.

Needed to press some bearings on my 4Runners rear axles and this shop came highly recommended. Quick turn around along with respectable prices. Fast, efficient, quality service. Ryan did a great job taking care of us. We live in our van and they were able to get it done in a day. Took the time to make sure it was done right. Recommend True Trac limited slip differential for Ford Transit 250. Thanks Ryan!!

Came in with a vibration issue and knocking brakes. Tech drove it for 20 minutes and came back and suggested to replace all the U-Joints and the recently replaced center bearing. Turned out it was an bent axle I had to find out elsewhere. I m sure they re knowledgeable on drivetrains but I couldn t even setup an appointment to get it actually inspected without them asking to spend $500 on parts that wouldn t have made a difference. 4.6 stars! rounds up to 5 because it was at no charge.

Employees were super helpful and awesome. Great staff and outstanding service, I needed a driveshaft made for an old truck and they did a super quick fantastic job at a reasonable price. Ryan is a great dude, really helped me out. Very impressed. Would 100% recommend.

This shop has earned my trust and my business it's hard to find a good honest shop I brought my jeep SRT8 in no time they had figured out what was wrong after I had been to other shops that couldn't figure out the problem even went to the dealership and I found dan's driveline online and right up front they have the best customer service good honest people kept me updated with the vehicle the whole time it was being worked on and was done at a great price anyone looking for an amazing shop this is where to go thank you Mark for taking amazing care of my vehicle and thank you Tim the Technician for the hard work and great quality.

I've had to have multiple driveshaft modifications (of my own doing) and every time I talk to Ryan, he "gets it". Sometimes it takes a little longer to get it done, but that's because they're only 1 of two shops that services the tri state region. I have a driveshaft shop in my town but his turn around time is ridiculous so I just drive to Dan's. Talked to another customer at the counter and was the same for Pahrump. I'm also running a Dana 80 gearset set up by Dan's and trouble free so far.

Customer beware. I called prior to bringing my part for service and spoke to Hollis. I described the job and he guesstimated $50. The final cost was an outrageous $165; I had the same part from the other side of the vehicle serviced at another shop for only $125. Upon pick up, when I mentioned the ludicrous price Hollis began arguing with me. So if you want to pay the highest prices in town and then have rude staff argue with you about it, then this is your shop. Otherwise, choose anyone else.

Probably the worst customer service and lack of integrity of any place I have ever been to. A year and a half ago I have my rear end replaced. When the first service came up I opened it to notice the magnet was missing. I told them ans they said it wasn't their fault. So I took it to them dor the next service. They charged me 40% more than the quote and for a used cover so I had a magnet. Them my rear end grenaded a week ago. I called them and was told oh well it's out of warranty. Took ot to another place that informed me the gears weren't lashed right and because of that is why the rear end failed. I wouldn't recommend them to do an oil change.

Customer Service . That s really all you need to know.So your a long way from home .and your rear differential starts going out. Your in a town that you know nothing about You visit the local NAPA and the guy says go to Dan s. Monday morning you meet the owner and they are booked for weeks. In short, they fit me in and I m on the road the next day, the next day!I m in the business of customer service, we do house calls on people s really bad days. I had an emergency and Dan s Driveline took care of me and that is top shelf customer service. Thanks to Brick, Ryan and the whole crew at Dan s Driveline.

My wife and I got into Vegas with our 5th wheel travel trailer and noticed a clicking noise in the front end of my Ram 3500. It ended up being the front u-joints. After visiting 2 repair shops, I found Dan's Driveline thank God!The first 2 places could not work on the truck for "at least a month"Dan's was able to work me in the next day!They were very friendly, professional and above all HONEST! What a great and honest crew exemplary customer service. Thank you for fixing my daughter's car before she goes off to school in short notice. Although they had a full calendar they helped us out and we greatly appreciate it

This shop does GREAT work , has very fair pricing, and is HONEST! They recently replaced my slave cylinder, throw out bearing, pilot bushing etc which required removal and reinstall of my transmission....I was super pleased and thankful for the work they did and how they were in constant communication with me throughout the process. BRICK is an amazing mechanic and front desk people are awesome too...super knowledgeable and very respectful/professional. I will definitely be a returning customer in the future! I can t believe that I didn t know about this shop sooner! Thank you DAN S DRIVELINE!

I am so grateful for Dan's Driveline. Brick quickly identified the issue with my driveshaft disconnect on my Chevy Tahoe and was able to clean it and re-install it correctly. I received exceptional customer service from Brick, Ryan, and Mike. I highly recommend Dan's Driveline.

Quick and friendly staff very busy shop. Three to five day turnaround time for all walk-in drive lines. Acceptable knowing the work will be done right. Two universal joints and a fresh balance on the assembly estimated at $150.

Do not use this business, no concern for safety!! Could have potentially caused me to get in a car accident ... Went there to get my front axle re geared. I had already purchased the gears, and install kit. I dropped off my truck the night before the appointment. Was told it would be done the next day or day after. It ended up taking a whole extra day. Not too big of a deal but I didn't get but one phone call letting me know what was going on. Since I supplied my own parts, there was no warranty and you could tell that since there was no warranty that they really didn't take much pride in their work. They just kind of threw it back together. The mechanic that worked on it had a huge attitude and wasn't courteous what so ever, actually seemed like he was trying to belittle me. I offered to take out the axle shafts myself that way all they had to worry about was setting up the gears which would cut the work time almost in half. I was told that that wouldn't change the price of the work at all. The price for this work was almost double what it should have been as well. When I got home I notice that my hood wasn't shut all the way. That alone is a huge danger/safety issue; what if it blew open when I was driving home but also, why did they open my hood in the first place, my front axle is under the truck, not under the hood. Will definitely be checking the work they did now ....

I swear these guys are vehicle whisperers!! Everytime I go there with no hope they speak to my truck and behold, it's exactly what they say it is. Their work is precise and expertise is untouchable. P.S. I always leave a tip for them to buy lunch. Fyi They love Sonic ;)

I was driving through Las Vegas and visiting when my 2005 Toyota 4 Runner's front U joint failed. Not only did this facility and their staff show genuine concern and due to the fact that I was from out of town and sorta stuck, they ALL went above and beyond to really "help me" and "squeeze me in the repair schedule" and got me back on the road within 3 hours ! Kudo's to this facility and the ENTIRE STAFF for being quick, friendly, concerned and do MORE than their DUE DILIGENCE to get me repaired. I have traveled the country for over 50, broke down just about everywhere and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this repair facility and their staff for ANY and ALL repairs that they could take on. Not to mention that the actual quoted price wound up be to EVEN LESS when the repair was finished. Bar None, this facility should get 5 ++++ stars. TY to all who helped get me back on the road so quickly AND EFFICIENTLY.FACTUAL and truly, REAL Customer SERVICE is NOT DEAD IN THIS facility but truly NUMBER ONE !!!!!! TY TY TY !

Dan's accepted my 2006 4X4 Jeep for gear changes as agreed. After a quick inspection by their mechanic additional problems were found. Mark notified me in a timely manner with the problems, costs and the additional time needed. He proactively kept me appraised of their progress and other issues that arose on my older vehicle. My Jeep was completed earlier than the agreed revised time frame. When I picked up the the vehicle Mark and his technician showed me the old failed & failing parts. Mark went over the break in time required for my new gears thoroughly. It's been 3 hundred miles and so far all is well. I really appreciated the proactive communication and the advice on other unknown problem areas. They did a great job of managing my expectations and costs. I always knew where I stood.
