Have 2006 Chevy Cobalt with 104K miles on it and engine started knocking. David was awesome giving me all my options from getting used engine, brand new engine, or rebuild current engine back to new. I went with rebuild and happy I did. David was great communicator even answering texts on Sundays. They got it done in less than 2 weeks and very happy with job. Engine is running like new. I highly recommend these guys they are AWESOME.

I was recommended to Dave, I had to have a new transmission put in my daughter's Ford Expedition. When I called he said to have it towed in and we would get started on it immediately. Our car was done in two days and it runs fabulous. Thank you Dave for such great work and honest prices.

A++ 5 stars they put a new engine in my 1995 Chevy truck 6 years ago and it still runs like new. Thanks to David for the great service.NEW REVIEW 1-2-2024David and his crew just installed a new motor in my 2005 f150. Truck runs great and motor is solid came with all the internal upgrades for the 5.4 3v. With the warranty and their good work I'm very happy I returned..keep up the great work thanks to David and his crew.

Well I must say I was really impressed by the service I received at carburetors &more. They done a very good job on my vehicle that I brought in to get some major work done on my engine.It is running much better than I was expecting.And the it took to find and replace the engine was out standing, it was less than two weeks from start to finish.Oh and the price of the work that they did saved me thousands of dollars. You don't have to take my word for what am telling you about carburetors &more, shop around then go to carburetors & more and you will see what I am talking about.

This shop rocks ! I had trouble finding anyone who would touch my ole 1980 CJ 5 . Dave and his crew rebuilt my 258 ci motor , got rid of the old Carb put a new one on at my direction , when that job was finished my jeep ran like top . My jeep went from shaking to running so smooth you can put a glass of water on it and not spill a drop. Old jeeps have problems with their fuel guages i asked and Daves crew fixed my guage problem ! I was having problems with the lights , after so many folks adding this and subtracting that the wireing was a nightmare , i had Daves crew rewire my jeep , put all new Dakota guages on the dash and add HEI distributator . WOW what a difference . You are only as good as your last customer and this customer is over the moon with the job this crew did for me. When they say Carbs & More they mean it . I cannot put in words how satisfied i am with this shop . I was more then satisfied with how long it took to complete all my work , i dont second guess what they do or how they do it, these guys know their stuff and what they are doing, let them do it ! I was satisfied with the price quoted and never was i charged more even when they went above & beyond . The only negative i have over this experience is their parking lot sucks because they have such a booming bussiness cars are everywhere being repaired . Did i mention how nice and friendly Dave and his crew are . Anyway this is my go to shop now , dont hesitate at all !

After getting a diagnosis and an estimate from 2 other shops, i did an online search and found Carburetors and more, i got a better estimate on engine replace or rebuild and time frame. David was very knowledgeable and got the job done. I waited few months to write this review to make sure the engine had no issues. Drove to California and back a couple of times, smooth sailing, no issues. I'm very satisfied and pleased with this business. I highly recommend and will definitely use again.Service: Engine repair

I use these guys for all my car maintenance needs. They rebuilt my hemi engine and now it runs better than before. I never have any issues or problems with them, they always go the extra mile to get me taken care of in a timely manner. 5 stars all day. Highly recommended!!!

One thing that I can say about this place they never overcharged me even though I came in there by myself a woman gave me a fair price and always always complete the mission tow truck whatever you need they got you you got the money or even if you don't they'll let you make payments you just got to talk to them and let them know your situation that's one thing I love about them I will recommend them to any and everybody so yeah if y'all in Las Vegas Nevada close to Charleston or Sahara come to them they will never do you wrong even if you far it's well worth it

This is the best classic car shop in Vegas I got a 1964 Impala that I was having so many problems with, I went to so many garage s that just couldn t get the job done, then I found this place on google! Thank Google!!! They don t over charge you, they warranty their work! Truly amazing! Tony and David saved my classic car experience. Fixed my carburetor, oil pan leak, transmission leak, new gas tank, converted my distributor to electric. The place is truly amazing. They fix stuff to make it stay fixed, I respect that so much! Anyone who has lived in this town over 20 years knows finding a good shop is rare. My motor failure was a blessing in disguise. These guys are really good no bs no problems just want to fix your car. David is great patient guy communication on things excellent. This is an honest hard working shop no bs no nickel dime no drama or excuses. David and his team of mechanics is amazing! They are literally engine Wizards and were able to resurrect my engine from the multitude of problems it had. Despite it being a highly customized and Technical project they insured that everything was done correctly.

Thank you David!!!!!! I have had my car in and out of several shops / mechanics and no one could figure out what the issue was. A lot of money and time wasted. I called Carburetors & More looking to possibly rebuild the engine. David was very helpful over the phone. Once I arrived to the shop David and I discussed all that has been done on the car. He thoroughly explained my options and never tried to sell me on anything. After reviewing the options we went with getting a remanufactured engine. David ordered the engine same day. I was originally quoted 6-8 weeks based on the engine shipping. David kept me in the loop on the status. He got the engine in early and had my car back to me in just under 4 weeks. He stayed true to his estimate and even took a look at my a/c which wasn t working. I am glad I came here. Even though it is on the other side of town from me, I will definitely be a repeat customer (hopefully I don t have to though). I ve used this place a couple times now and will continue to keep using them. David and his staff are experts in what they do and would recommend them to anyone. I will be taking my other SUV to them as well because they are the only ones I trust to do what needs to be done with now hassling. When here and got my 390 engine rebuilt less than a thousand miles later I had to rebuild it again myself this time. They did not hone my cylinders at all no cross hatch anywhere so oil consumption issues. They reused my old bearings along with replacing select bearings but not as a set individualy. So they were junk they used cheap chromemahle rings not to mention the copper head gasket spray on sealer. We were told 1 cylinder was sleaved when 2 where we were told it was bored 30 over it was bored 60 over and all the the gaskets were smothered in rtv which lead to oil leaks. but the worst part of all is they REUSED MY FACTORY CAM when I was told I was getting a quote on quote "stage two cam" which means nothing. Over all very disappointed WOULD AVOID AT ALL COSTS

my previous review was apparently taken down? I paid over &5k to get an engine rebuild in a 93 4runner. They had my vehicle for over a year, did their best to intimidate me into making payments every time I came in to check on the "rebuild" even though they hadn't done a single thing, and ultimately did a TERRIBLE job. They claimed it was rebuilt, but I had to pay to have it towed to another state and have another mechanic try to go back and fix their work. Ultimately, the vehicle they claimed to rebuild fell apart within months and was beyond recovery.This shop may be good for simple repairs, but please don't give them your hard earned money for a "rebuild" you'll regret like I did.

I've had 4 engines done here and a bunch of other work. The guys aren't just mechanics, they feel like friends and family. Whenever I drop my vehicles off, I know they'll take care of me. The worst place to take your car for repairs, they do not do a good job, they tell you one thing and do another, They lie about the parts that have suppose to be replaced. They are shade tree mechanics, the person in the front office didn't even know what ASE certified was. They didn't save my old parts like I had requested. I would never take my car back to them, And I would not recommend them to any one that needs a car repaired. Maybe ok to check your oil but not for any repairs. They are not certified mechanics, if you have a brown paper bag with a few Harbor Freight tools then you can got to work for them. stay away from this business for car repairs.

Less than half the price for my engine repairs than the dealership quoted me! Very honest, knowledgeable and made sure their repairs were completed with plenty of follow ups once back on the road. Would recommend for any car issues

Good honest mechanics. I brought my truck to them and they were able to find and repair mistakes from other auto shops have made or couldn t do. I don't know much about cars. But I have a 1973 Impala. I have a appointment for June 29 2022 I will let everyone know what happens.Wow David cancelled my appointment because he said I gave him a bad review.Can some reasonable person explain what I said wrong about this business establishment?Edited after David called me and canceled instead of providing good service. WeirdNow I see how to change the Rating. Sorry for being honest guys.I m use to people treating me like I m Black. I m going to find a shop that is ethically diverse.I ask for a job he told me no. I ask if I could at least fill out an application. And David reluctantly pulled one out from right under his nose. I don t think he will hire me after he reads this.His loss

I put a new carb on my 1987 Jeep YJ and brought it in for a full set up. They quoted me a fair price, didn t try to up sell anything, did a great job, and I walked out with a great running Jeep at the price they quoted me. Awesome shop!!!

I had a great experience with this shop. Great customer service, knowledgeable, honest mechanics. They truly know their craft, give trustworthy advice and do good work at a fair price. Their estimate was spot on, no surprise added costs when the job was done. They were very accommodating to my schedule. They did a complete rebuild on my GM 5.3 in about 10 days, including the machine shop time and minor delay for some unexpected parts. Fairly clean job for a complete rebuild, a few plastic clips busted on some wiring and hoses, but that will happen on a 15-year old truck if you start taking things apart. Engine has been running great and they are very good about follow-up appointments. Thanks guys!

These guys are great! I had my motor rebuilt in my truck a couple months ago and I am completely happy with their work. I had called around many places before taking my truck to them. These guys had quoted me the best price out of anyone in town. Even though they had to go over the quoted price slightly with other parts they were completely upfront about everything. I appreciate that. My truck is actually back in their shop now getting my outdated air conditioning up and running. I'm sure I will be just as pleased with their work as I was before. These are good people that do good work. Thanks guys!
