I came from California to Las Vegas for a wedding reception. I ran into issues with my car while visiting. One of my relatives recommended me this place, it was great. the mechanic Jorge did a fantastic job, he explained properly about the issues with the AC. This place is a TOTAL RIPOFF.. Tom the old man that owns the place has gone mad.. their AC parts are at least 2-3 times the price they are anywhere else. 2nd they have ZERO customer service skills.. Always trying to upsell you.. When you refuse, they get mad and start cursing. TOTAL JOKE!I would bet that all these other 5 star reviews here are paid reviews. Good Luck dealing with them here. AC went out, Freon leak. I called and said they were backed up a week. I work out of my car, so it's vital. I came in anyway cause they were recommended. I have a hard time trusting mechanics based on past experiences. They came out took a look and instantly knew what the problem was. They still had to run test to make sure but These guys are experts. They actually stayed late and got my car fixed in about 24 hours. They went out of their way to make sure I could work. I did look pretty defeated when I came in at first so maybe they took pity on me. Hahaha. Anyway it was easy to trust them and the service was outstanding. I would recommend to anyone. Thanks again guys and my car is cool as can be along with a one year warranty to give me some peace of mind.Service: A/C installation & repair

Absolutely The Best Service I Have Received From Any BusinessI called David to see if they could fix my A/C in my 2018 CR-V. He first asked what was going on and listened to me tell my story, which was really appreciated.He noted that they were extremely busy and very backed up and would not be able to help me, but he did not push me away. He went the extra mile and assisted me in finding a solution to fix the A/C on a tight timeline.David recommended a shop near by that could do the service and helped me get in contact. Further to that his store was able to provide me the parts I needed for less than half the cost of what Honda wanted to charge and when I went to pick them up, he came out to my car and popped the hood to take a look and see if what was ordered was going to be what I needed.He explained how the system works and why I needed specific parts.I cannot recommend his business enough to anyone that needs servicing for A/C components.Thank You David.

So far so good fingers crossed. Just had the air replaced $1600 it was blowing cold air. The Vegas temperatures are not hot yet.. so I will follow up with this review once I get to use the A/C in the dread of summer. Stay tuned

Beware!! ridiculous, rude customer service. Asked from me more than 500$ for 1234yf freon recharge and I did it for 130$ in a different place. He told me it would take 2 hours to do it, (10 minutes job).

Bottom line up front--awesome service from the front desk to the back shop. Reasonable prices and honest work.AC had stopped working on my 09 Jetta so brought it in. Diagnostic recommended replacement of full system (condenser and compressor). I decided that I would like to try the repair myself so Mark let me know that he would be able to get me a good price on the parts. He had everything available the next day at a price that was well under what the chain auto parts stores were charging. I had never done this type of maintenance before, so had plenty of questions which Mark answered over the next couple days in person, by phone, and email. Got everything installed, and when I took it back in to get the system charged they discovered the new compressor wasn't working. I took it home, did some additional troubleshooting, and everything was fine leading to the compressor. Brought it back to the shop and they were able to determine the new compressor was faulty. Mark told me this happens on occasion and that he'd warranty it out, so I took the part off, got the new one the next day, and after getting the system charged once more everything was working.Despite the disappointment of the faulty part, Mark and his team went out of there way to schedule me multiple times, and got the new part really quickly. I ended up visiting the shop several times over the course of 2 weeks and had nothing but positive experiences. While I hope I never need to go back...I'd be happy knowing where if needed.

Went in thinking the worst for a/c repair. They told me it was just a bad hose. Scheduled an appointment, replaced the hose, and charged the unit, and was gone in less than an hour. We took our vehicle here... Spoke to David. He informed us I'll charge you $285.00 to charge the AC if there is a leak you're stuck with that fee, and after that if there is a leak, I'll have to charge you more to diagnose to see what the problem is. I asked can you leak tested first he said NO...I do not want to0, if you don't like it leave my office. Great customer service! stay away...Service: Auto A/C replacement

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They were upfront with their pricing, with no surprises on the invoice. I have a vehicle that uses r1234y, and they are the only repair shop, except for dealerships, in Las Vegas.The service advisor, Tom, walked out to my car with me and did the estimate there at my car. Made me more comfortable and less suspicous than had they taken the car around to their shop and then brought me the estimate. Also, Tom took the time to explain what he was seeing, answer my questions and to make sure I understood.Bonus points for exceptional service after the sale. I had to go back because of an issue and they handled it very professionally.

We live in our motorhome and have been traveling the southwest for the last month. We finished a trail ride and our AC line broke. We called them and they could get us in the same day and work was completed in under 2 hours. We couldn t ask for better service!! We are so happy. They were fast, professional and fairly priced. We high recommend them to anyone in need of AC repairs. Our AC is the coldest it s ever been!!!Service: Air conditioning

David really took care of us and we owe him a big thank you. Our car had broken down while we were on vacation and AAA towed us to this place. Even though they were extremely busy, they managed to squeeze in our repair and get us back on the road. I highly recommend this place, and would definitely use them again if I lived nearby.

Went in for a suspected leak in AC system as I smelled an odor. Tom personally inspected my system and recommended a simple and reasonably-priced top-off without trying to sell me, let alone pressure me, on anything else. He is very knowledgeable yet took the time to explain everything plainly. Will definitely consider them for my next car service or repair.

Had trouble with my air conditioner in my truck after travelling from Oklahoma. Called for help and Jesse was able to squeeze me in and fix it so I could make it back home. I appreciated them taking me in when they were so busy, and the price for the repair was extremely reasonable! So thankful to find an honest shop that didn't take advantage of me being female and from out of town. Highly recommend them!

We spent thousands of dollars at mechanics in town trying to make our Ford Transit HD 350 A/C run as cool as possible. Unfortunately these vehicles are not designed to keep a cool temperature especially in the Las Vegas heat with passengers in the vehicle.We called Auto Air & More after being recommended by The Car & Truck Guys (another honest and fair auto shop on Charleston). These guys were able to add a second condenser to our vehicle and now it is cooler than ever before and all of our guests are now comfortable, even when its 115 degrees and the vehicle is filled with passengers.This shop is #1 in our book and we recommend them highly to everyone!Thank you for helping our business!Service: A/C installation & repair

AC failed. Welcome to LV summer. Older car for fun driving. Super great service, very honest. They do have a diagnostic fee, $150, on all services, but though was worth it as I know exactly what needs to be fixed. Very communicative, and all well explained.

Knowledge & Integrity are their cornerstones. Beyond anything else, they are the A/C Kings of LV.They do free initial A/C assessments in front & people line up like it's In-N-Out Burger. They have repaired and/or assisted with three of our vehicles' AC units to include a Class A RV. Very thorough, knowledgeable & great follow-up. Deep parts inventory. If they don't have it (or can't get it) or rebuild it, no one can. A little pricey at times, but you get what you pay for. In the end, they have saved us a ton in recurring repair costs or by providing unselfish guidance for simple fixes.Mark is Boy Genius and nothing fazes him in terms of complexity or answering questions; even-tempered & always helpful. David is also very knowledgeable with a great caring & helpful attitude. Tom is the owner and a bit more reserved, but equally helpful & highly experienced.You WILL NOT find a better A/C shop in LV. This is the best place to take your car for air conditioning work. From the receptionist to the owner ,Tom and his team I've had the pleasure to work with, Mark and David , you won't find a more knowledgeable group. R12 systems are no problems for this company. I highly recommend this company.

Went to at least four other shops and spent over $2500 only to have the same issue, no a/c after a couple of days of being serviced. Brought my truck here and issue resolved very fast. Heck, they even gave me a ride home so I didn't have to sit around and wait. It's been a few days and I still have cold air!

Took my car here recently. Service was great, timely, and they didn t try to push a service on me that I know I need but couldn t afford. When I get the money, I ll return. They did just what I wanted. They serviced my a/c last year too, and I was cool all summer. Try them, you ll like them.

If you like dishonesty, spending extra, and getting screwed by mechanics then go to this place. The "free" A/C diagnostic they claim they do on their website is anything but free. They convinced me they needed to get a better look inside my engine to figure out my car's A/C problem and had me sign a paper saying I'd allow them to run their diagnostic. The guy told me vocally he thought the entire repair would be $100-$150 depending on what was wrong. I went ahead and signed the paper thinking I was getting a great deal. Little did I know the paper I signed had some fine print that gave them legal power to screw me over. The $100-$150 the mechanic was talking about wasn't the entire repair estimate, it was the hourly wage he wanted me to pay him. He took my keys, spend a few minutes in the back looking at my car, came out and said I needed new hoses and a new thermostat and wanted $600 out the door for it (over $400 of that was just labor charges in their estimate. The other $200 was for parts that would cost $70 for everything at Autozone). I said no and then they proceeded to hang me dry by saying I still owed them $150 for their diagnostic. I argued with the manager about it and he didn't care. He knew he had leverage over me since I signed their paper and he had my keys. I paid the fee, took my car to another mechanic, and they fixed my car for less then half of what these jokers were asking for. People that charge $150+ an hour for service are called lawyers, not mechanics; I wish I would have had a lawyer with me when I went to this place. There are plenty of other mechanics in Las Vegas that can fix your car problems. Whatever you do, don't go to these guys!

Absolutely impressed with the quality of the work and the expertise of the technicians at Auto Air and More. I had the air conditioning fixed on my 2002 Ford van. Jesse, the technician, explained everything to me thoroughly so I knew exactly what he was doing and how much it would cost. The pre-inspection gave me confidence that I had come to the right place. I can't say enough about how impressed I am. I will be going here for all of my automotive service needs in the future.

I had my car serviced here, they replaced the timing belt and water pump (had a 2 month 2500 mi. warranty). I was happy with the service received at the time even though the price was nearly double that of elsewhere. I was stranded in Vegas so I paid up. Well , now 6 months later the water pump has a leak and needs to be replaced. $500.00 later I have paid $1500 for a $500-600 job. Don't go here unless desperate.

I purchased a used vehicle from Planet Nissan and it needed air conditioning (the vehicle was made without air conditioning). The dealer told me that in their experience, Auto Air & More was the best and they got a quote for the whole system at $3200, which was a great price.When I dropped the car off, the parts were ordered and it was discovered that my vehicle was a "late model year" production vehicle and the air conditioning setup/build actually changed.This change required more parts, electrical system modifications etc and Mark told me that the vehicle would take a little longer, due to additional parts being ordered etc, but he didn't change the price, which I thought was awesome.When I picked up the car, it was completely outfitted with a new air conditioner, and you wouldn't know the vehicle was initially made without air conditioning.Thank you for a great job!

Air went out in the parking lot of Mirage. Called a buddy in Vegas for recommendation and he gave me this place. They replaced my compressor and I was up and going in 3 hours on Friday afternoon. AC is still going as strong as new. Highly recommend these guys. Owner does the quotes and oversees the work himself. Turns out he teaches many other repair shops in the area how to fix AC units as well. They've been in business for years and are also the shop the hotels recommend. Thanks much!

Had trouble with my air conditioner after getting repaired somewhere else. Everywhere else told me there was nothing wrong with the air conditioner . Took it here they gave me an honest estimate. Most of the parts already needed to be repaired or should have replaced when the other company did the air conditioner. My van was missing some of the plastic Clips 2 cuz the other companies didn't put them back they replace those as well. Long story short this place knows what they're doing very happy with the service.!

I have gone to wheel works off of blue diamond....sadly to say, we will not be going back to them even though they are extremely close to me (read more to learn why).To get our air conditioning replaced we were recommended to Auto Air and More (definitely farther away but I don't even care). I have taken two cars there because I am tired of trying to find a good honest shop. I'd much rather take a longer commute to get the jobs done the right way. Let me tell you that these folks play by the rules. They're honest and straight up. It feels amazing to take your car in and to know you're going to get an honest diagnosis and quote. They communicate well and appreciate my business.Here's our journey (multiple visits - read through - it's worth it to find a trusted shop).Visit 1:We started with fixing the air conditioning on our 01 Toyota Camry. It was summer of 2020 and our AC was blowing hot air (it's been blowing hot air for years). We did a couple of recharges but that was useless after a week(ish). The way Auto Air quotes is amazingly unique. They give you the best case scenario because they don't want to over quote something (because they will quote you at what they know needs to be replaced and will not try to replace anything that doesn't need to be replaced). Very simple concept, "this needs to get replaced for sure so that will cost with labor and diagnosis "x" amount. But, we will call you if we find anything else that needs to be replaced in the event that we do find something that needs to get replaced." So, they did call to fix something else that did increase the price, and I accepted because we needed that fix (at this point I wasn't 100% positive that the increase was actually necessary because I didn't understand the type of business people they are at Auto Air). Well that AC is still running like a champ and I'm pretty sure that it will for years to come.Visit 2:We were driving our 06 Toyota Sienna more because it had AC, but awkwardly the same thing happened and it started blowing hot air (weird timing)! Anyways, we took the van in to get that fixed too. Quote was higher than the Camry, but the first quote was the right quote. No drama, no nothing. Just got the job done hassle free.Visit 3:Check engine light that has been on for quite some time on our 01 Camry. They quoted knowing that there may be additional work that might need to get done. But they said let's start with this, drive it for awhile, and if the check engine light comes back on come back and you won't have to pay another diagnosis fee because it's already paid. Fair enough, I like that idea, let's run it.Visit 4:Check engine light did come back on so I went to Auto Zone to use their OBD Reader for free and got 7 emissions errors. I purchashed a new fuse and a gas cap, but that unfortunately did not work. So, I took the camry back in which was a smaller $400 visit.Visit 5:Oh no ... Check engine light again!? This time I waited for more than a month just to calm the spending down a bit.When I went there, I explained that the check engine light was on, but for some reason, it turned off. I checked the OBD reader and it did run some emissions errors (it was originally 7 emissions errors that went down to 3).Because it was near closing the smog guy that works in the parking lot was there (they refer business to each other), and they confirmed that my car should be good to go if it turned off...so we ran a $22 smog and Boom! I am good to go! I expect to pay at least $400, but their honesty is real. From 5 visits we are under $5,000 and we absolutely have some great results.Wheel Works resultsMy father in law got his brakes done (the 06 van) at wheel works for $5,000...rack and pinion.... And this and that.....C'mon......just stop...We got two full AC repairs and 7 emissions codes and a smog all for under $5,000. These guys understand that if they do the right thing they will have retuning business. Thank you Auto Air & More team. Much love being sent your way!**All repairs were around 4 hours from start to finish.

Extremely unprofessional. Showed a lack of willingness to fix their errors and then had the nerve to try charging for more services. Highly un-recommended. Half the shop even agreed with me that due diligence was not done on there part and they cared nothing for customer satisfaction or appreciation. They did not take any lengths to correct the situation. I strongly suggest to take into consideration these reviews and not ignore them as I did and do everything you can to avoid this place and not have to deal with the lack of knowledge, professionalism, and effort which had been demonstrated. I do not care for an apology from this business. You simply did not meet the standards of excellence paying customers deserve.
