I was in Vegas on a vacation and unfortunately needed some work done on my car quickly. I called and told them what exactly I needed done and they got it done for me. They were extremely professional and very respectful. It was easy access from the strip and just overall the best experience I ve had at a mechanic s shop as a female going by myself.Services: Auto brake repair, Brakes

The shops owner and service manager were amazing. It's late so I'll make this as short as Ican. I have used Ask Auto on many occasions. They always do a great job at an excellent price. Bruce, the service manager, is an honest and fair man. He never trys to up sell or pressures you to have extra work done. He actually works with you to prioritize the work so you can budget for what needs to be done now and what can be put off for a later time.The reason I decided to write a review now is because Ask Auto found an issue that was created by a different repair company. I had to use the other repair service because my car had become unsafe to drive due to a axle and hub issue and I used a service close to my home. Well, that repair shop messed up an important axle installation and I had no idea how much damage was done until Bruce and his mechanic showed me the problem. Bruce helped me document the problem so I can address it with the other repair shop. Bruce and his team took pictures so I have everything very well documented. I plan on going to that repair shop and seeing if they will resolve the issue. If not I will be out a substantial amount of money and have Ask Auto do the repairs.I should have gone to Ask Auto to begin with and I would not be faced with this unpleasant task ahead of me. I was in from out of town visiting my elderly parents. Stacey and Bob helped get my parent's truck power steering fixed quickly and for a very fair price. They were very understanding why I needed their car fixed fast and they are very friendly. I strongly recommend them. It's great to know that there is an honest auto repair place for my parents to go to.

My drive shaft carrier bearing fell off entirely, and the folks here helped me with every single little thing. They recommended a tow service to get my truck to their shop, ordered the part needed and got it replaced - and they had it done and ready for me a day earlier than predicted! Not only were they professional and timely, but they were also beyond nice and wonderful to talk to.I chose their shop by looking at other Google reviews and now after using their services I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone who needs help with your vehicle and doesn't want to stress too much about it. Vehicle issues can be stressful but the folks at ASK Auto Repair helped get rid of most of that by helping with every step along the way.

I went to this mechanic for a vibration and a crunching sound in the front of my car. He had it for 3 full days and it still needed an alignment which he said would take another full day. I refused to let him have my car for one more day I would just take it and get it done myself. I went in to pick up my car he presented me with an invoice of $2600 once I went over it and realized that he was overcharging me by $700 I became very upset upset as anyone would. I am a senior citizen and a female and I feel that he tried to take advantage of me because of that. when I left his shop I still had the same problems Even though I had paid him $2000. I took it to another mechanic who said that I needed new struts which is what Ask Auto Repair charged me for then I took it to a 3rd mechanical also said that I needed new struts, so I had to pay to put new struts on at 3rd mechanic. Stacy Barba. Owner, wife offered me money to reimburse me for the work that he charged me for that he did not do. Then he went back on his word and did not send the money so now I've hired an attorney and I've contacted several organizations that are extremely interested in this type of abuse toward elderly people.. Finally this morning, 3 months later, I receive a partial payment of the 1000 that he promised me. Only because I initiated the contact again and send him a list of the people that I am contacting including every consumer affairs Bureau in the state of Nevada and the Department of Motor Vehicles who actually issues his license to do business. He stated in writing that he would only give me the thousand dollars if I promised not to print a bad review. This is an honest review unfortunately it is very bad. Whatever you do don't send a female or an elderly person into this shop, because if it happened to me it can happen to them or you. BEWARE

Was in town with the family for some rest and relaxation and my car decided to give us some pain and heartache. Engine was sputtering and coolant level kept dropping off.We know nobody here, so we were at the mercy of Google and reviews and landed with ASK.From the beginning, Stacy gave us incredible service explaining the process, texting clear directions, and getting my vehicle on the lift ASAP as I was only in town for a few days. Within a short period of time (like an hour or so) he diagnosed the issue and sent me an e-mail with the breakdown of what had to be done along with a recommended fuel injection service.The car was ready the next afternoon and runs great. Stacy is fantastic and considering what we were dealing with, the car was fixed at a reasonable price for the work and we're good to go.Thanks Stacy and ASK!Services: Carburetor cleaning, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I have gone to Stacy for years for my car repairs, he is honest and fairly priced and will tell you either get the repairs or get rid of the car. My boyfriend has a 2006 Hummer and has had nothing but problems since he bought it, he kept using his own mechanic and putting thousands of dollars into it and it kept breaking down daily. Finally I m told him it s time to take it to my mechanic. Stacy and his team finally fixed the problems needed for him to drive his car in confidence and not to break down on him daily and at a fair price. We will never trust anyone else with our cars, I highly recommend Ask Auto Repair for all your cars needs. Five star all around.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Battery

Highly recommend this auto shop!! Stacy is one of the most honest mechanics I ve ever been to. I was in Vegas for a short vacation, went in for a check engine light, and was shown and told exactly what was wrong with my car within 15-20 minutes. Super nice guy and very professional. You won t be disappointed!

I've been working with ASK AUTO REPAIR since August 2020, we have a fleet of 10 Light Duty trucks in Vegas that we completely rely on Stacy's team to get them repair. The nature of our business demands have dependable units 24 / 7 / 365 and they've been doing a great job making sure the units are fully inspected and serviced.Servicing a Fleet can be stressful and one like ours is for sure a tough one, by them installing top quality parts with qualified techs my fleet has come from constant road issues to a more productive fleet, the best part is that they've worked with us whenever there's being an issue, they go above and beyond on service attitude, this is the place where they earn your trust, your business and will never make you feel they are making you a favor for fixing your car.I've been in the fleet business for over 20 years and this is the type of repair shop I would like to find at every location we operate nationwide coast to coast.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great people! If you want a place where they will be honest with you, this is it. I was very stressed about a rapidly ailing car and they were honest about whether or not I should pour more money into it or just let it go for another car. I decided to get another car and am happy I did! Those are tough decisions to make, and it helps to know someone is going to tell you the truth of the matter and not just charge you for stuff to get money out of you. Happy to have chosen this place after having some suspension sound occur on my Subaru after driving down to Vegas for the weekend. Came in Friday morning and they managed to get me in and out in a breeze. Turned out it was something quick and easy to fix so they charged me way less than I was expecting. Definitely a great shop with some great people running it! I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area!

Quick and honest! Traveling from out of state with a power steering fluid leak, they got me right in, diagnosed, and fixed up next day. Bruce is very easy to work with.

Today they fixed my car on my lunch break! That is amazing to me! They scheduled me right away: I just made the appointment last week. I have been bringing my Honda here for the four years I've lived out here, and have always received exceptional service. Stacy Barba and his family and staff are not only kind, but they are HONEST! They will not upsell you things you do not need, and they will continue to work on the problem until it is solved. Easy to find off of Valley View; just look for the ASK flags. The Best of Vegas for sure!

Believe the HYPE! I have lived in Vegas going on 3.5 years now. I have been blessed to have recently paid off my 2006 Ford Fusion. Of course after you stop having a note some things begin to go wrong. Well going to ASK Auto has prevented me from having to pour more than needed money into this vehicle. They are honest, personable, pleasant, and did I mention HONEST! I'm a a Southern Virginia gal and they feel like southern hospitality. You won't be disappointed in the service or prices.

Stacy runs the best shop in vegas! His work is always top notch on any vehicle he works on! I've brought in several cars of different makes over the past year and he has had no problem fixing and diagnosing anything wrong, as well as fixing things quickly! I highly recommend Ask Auto Repair!

Like the majority of other people out there, I always had anxiety about going to a repair shop. I always questioned, Are they going to rip me off? Are they being honest? Are they going to try to take advantage of me because I m a woman and have no idea what their auto lingo means? Welp, I don t ever have to worry about that at Ask Auto. These guys are the real deal and I don t question their honesty. I was referred to them through a trusted friend and it was the best decision I ever made to come here. I can proudly say I have a family mechanic and I have peace of mind when it comes to the maintenance and repair of my vehicles. Thank you Stacy and the crew!

ASK Auto Repair is above most of the shops here in Las Vegas. They are not out to just make a buck. The owner and staff are honest and trustworthy people. They fix your vehicle's issue and don't try to sell you on everything you don't need or want. I highly recommend this shop to everyone. You will not regret this choice in Las Vegas!
