Never go here!! They re not rude and unprofessional. I had an appointment and the manager was sick so he wasn t in. My car sat all day and night until the next day!! When I went to retrieve my car the manager was like how would you like to pay for it?? I was confused and perplexed seeing my car never was moved and the manager couldn t tell me anything about my car!! The worst experience ever and I will never suggest or bring my car back to them!! He never apologized for my car not even being looked at!! Prior to me picking up my car the next day I called to see what was happening and couldn t get an answer

This is a great place to take your car. These are great people. Very honest and trustworthy. They rebuilt my transmission and fixed all of the leaks from my engine. It took some time, but they did a great job and were able to provide a decent warranty for a fair price as well. Armando and Yasmin are very friendly and did a good job updating me when they could. I would definitely use their services again if I needed to. I drive a 2002 Jeep Wrangler.

This place charged me $2000 for the repairs I don t need it.When I asked for diagnostic results, the receptionist was making excuses like she doesn t have the printer or when I asked to send me an email she said she couldn t and when I asked for the screen shot she couldn t do this either.Also, they hold my car for a whole month intentionally and cause me additional money for rental.One more thing: the receptionist was holding my car keys and demanded from me the signatures on the money I already paid them.This was the worst experience I ever had by taking my car to this place.This business should be closed.Be careful! They will cheat you!

Had a warning light come on due to a miss fire, Aamco wanted to take apart my transmission without looking for the cause. Turned out that it was bad spark plugs, good thing I took the car to another shop!

Took my wife's car twice after making the terrible decision of purchasing from carvana these guys found the issues almost instantly and fixed both within a week of dropping off the car. Price was reasonable and with a year warranty I do not regret it one bit would recommend to family and friends.

Absolutely the best and my favorite! Armando and his crew take care of my 2005 E450 bus conversion. It is extremely difficult to work on because the parts are obsolete on that year and these guys can rebuild anything! They ve saved my bacon plenty of times! They are always polite, friendly and know what they are doing. Can t say enough good things about them

My car needed servicing on the transmission and AAMCO did well with getting it fixed. My car did last about over a month getting fixed, but in part it was due to waiting for the specific parts my car needed. Overall, my car has been running really well since I ve picked it up and have had no problems yet. Thank you to the team for getting my vehicle serviced!

Terrible & VERY long experience. This place had my car for two months, Armondo is rarely available & leaves Jazmine to fend off worried or angry customers. Women be prepared to be talked to condescendingly & treated like this place is doing you a favor. No written estimates given, only a screenshot of a computer screen. Quoted $6800 in unneeded replacement transmission even BEFORE a diagnostic was done. Work finally started & a solution ONLY found AFTER telling Armono to put my car back together, I'll have it towed to the NV State Vehicle Repair center & have them diagnosis my car. Charged my extended warranty company 10 hours of labor & me an additional $1200 + my deductible. The repairs took so long, within days of getting my car home, the engine battery completely failed & I had to have my car towed to a different mechanic (of course!!!) for an additional cost of $350: diagnostic, labor & a completely new battery. Being nice doesn't equate to competent & your technicians personal problems shouldn't have been made my problem, talking in circles & only finding solutions after being threatened with having the DMV auto repair services get involved only made the experience that much worse. Next step NV Attorney General Complaint Process - You picked the wrong One!!

Armondo & yazmine are the most respectable and considerate plus understanding people in the auto repair business. Every single step of the way they assisted me in informed me with the steps needed and what to expect with the services they provided cost was very reasonable and accurate I would go back to aamco transmission for any and all repairs they specialize in transmission but mastered other areas of auto repair thank you ll for everything. 100 stars is my ratingServices: Transmission, Tires, Oil change

I brought my Mercedes in because of a problem with the transmission. Unfortunately, it was the day before Thanksgiving so things were delayed.Once the work was started, Amando called me and kept me appraised of the work and cost. I felt that everything was done in a professional manner. He asked if I wanted to see the parts that were removed. I told him that it would make no sense to me and to do the work and call me when it was finished. I met Armando when I picked up the car.He is a professional who seems to truly like his work. I hope I will not see him for further work on this car, but I have full confidence in his ability.Service: Transmission

Excellent Work!Armando was very accommodating and friendly he has a great team. My car had a check engine light on, low power, poor acceleration, running rich, smell of gas and timing way off. Armando repaired/ replace all defective parts.I am a very satisfied customer and will be back

DO NOT GO HERE! Manager Armando is a sleezebag. They threatened me to pay for unnecessary work. They had my 72 Mustang transmission removed for no reason. The only work I asked to be done was on the outside of transmission -- it did not need to be removed. They are blackmailing me to pay $1,110 for removing my transmission for no reason without doing any work on it! $1,110 FOR NOTHING!

My check engine light came on last week so I decided to take my vehicle to AAMCO. I called AAMCO and spoke to the manager Armando and he made an appointment for me to bring the car in to do a diagnostic check engine light for $120 which I agreed to. The master mechanic Rueben the one that did the diagnostic took me inside the shop and show me an explain to me what he was doing with the scan tools. I was really impressed how he took the time to explain what needed to get done. The master mechanic Reuben recommended that I rebuilt the transmission. I went ahead and gave them the OK to rebuild my transmission a few days later they had my transmission removed put on the workbench and another master mechanic rebuilder name Van had my transmission all broken down to different sections the separating the gears separately the clutches I was like wow the transmission must have had over 100 pieces there at that point master mechanics Van took the time to show me what those internal parts do for my transmission and what approach he was going to take to reassemble everything back for it to be working properly and going to back up his workmanship with a two-year warranty. I must have to admit two days later when my vehicle was ready I went and took the vehicle on a test drive and I must say it felt like it was brand new the way it had regained its power it s pep very smooth it just reminded me when I first bought the car brand new I am very happy and I want to thank everybody over there at AAMCO for the wonderful job they did and I would highly recommend it to all my family and friends.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

I feel sorry for those who were unhappy with the service. But in my end mr Armando is a very kind at heart person. He gave us the opportunity to work fast fixing our car iI am a very demanding and perfectionist person and because I am the doughter of a great mechanic as well but amcvo and there team are the best. I know people might said is just a small part why he is charging to much. My friends. Car are like puzzles. There detail to find the missing pice thank you Armando from Bertha and Jose. Armando and his staff were very helpful and kind. They also got my transmission fixed in a timely manner and kept me updated every step of the way. I waited on review to see how the transmission ran but up until this date I have no complaints. After having a bad experience at a different AAMCO in town, my experience here was like night and day. I cannot recommend these guys enough! they are fair, honest, and they won't give up until they figure out what is going on with your vehicle. their customer service is fantastic too. both the owner (Russ) and head mechanic (Ruben) actually listen to you and give you straightforward, honest, and kind hearted answers. service this trustworthy is hard to come by in this day and age, but these guys deliver!

Armando the shop manager is the worst person to represent this company s morals and values. For one he is never in the shop, has his calls forwarded to his cell. He never calls you back or just forgets about you. He gives false promises. Armando also made several comments to me that truly state how he undervalues his customers. (You are a waste of my time and money, do you think I need your business- I have more business than I can handle, the one that set me off was I don t care about you as my customer) once I was upset he tells me how about we start all over. To blatantly ignore me, have my truck over two weeks and make no progress. I paid my fee just to get my truck out of there. The only reason I even considered using AAMCO was because my grandfather spoke very highly of this company. To have some one like Armando as the front desk service manager of a business is a mistake by this franchise owner. I can t speak for every AAMCO but this location made me never want to trust or even consider another AAMCO again. I asked for Armandos supervisor and was told that I needed to get the number through Armando. Armando is good at holding what we say to our word and suffering from amnesia on his word.Service: Transmission

I came to this Aamco shop and I can't complain at all. Armando and his staff did an excellent job on my truck. I really appreciate them helping me every step of the way. They resolved my issue and I'm very happy and satisfied with the results. I must thank them all for their honesty and hard work. Good job guys!!! If you need a honest and reliable mechanic, look no further this shop is the way to.

Excellent work, super friendly and accommodating. Great team, my car had lost power and limped into the shop - Ruben did the diagnostic, Van expertly rebuilt the transmission, and Arturo installed it - the result is my 2004 car sounds and runs like the day I bought it. Armondo will even stay after-hours to accommodate out-of-town customers to pick up their vehicles. And not just transmissions, they are an all-around repair shop, I've used them to replace my starter and front brakes, they will work with you to get what you need, and always do a great job.

Armando did a poorly job with my transmission. He quoted a price for my transmission to be repaired/rebuild and then when i went to pick up the truck he charged $8,000.00 didn't even left the truck running well.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Awful customer service!! Told them I needed and wanted new brakes and rotors. They told me $100.00 for inspection which could be applied to repairs. No call back to me all day long so I had to WALK there to see what was going on. They told me I needed new brakes and rotors... duh... I'd already told them that. Would not even order parts until the manager approved it and said it would take a couple days. Anyways, took it to Brakemasters #19 next morning and it was fixed in 4 hours. I'd buy a new truck before I would visit this Aamco again. I also got a notification from Carfax that the transmission was serviced which it was not.Service: Brakes

My family came here on vacation in our brand new Volvo. Unfortunately, our check engine light came on, which was weird since it was a brand new car, and we started having issues turning the car on. We called AAMCO and Armando told us to bring it in and he would take care of it. Apparently, it was just a simple computer issue that just needed to be reset. They had great service and didn't try to overcharge me. I recommend them if you need your car fixed.

No better mechanics in all of Las Vegas! Will not take my 2002 Jeep Wrangler anywhere but here because I will keep this Jeep forever! They do a great job! Armando, the office manager, is GREAT! He keeps me informed about price, the work that should be done, and the completion time. Very friendly, personable and professional. The mechanics are very professional and knowledgeable but they sure know what they are doing! This is the BEST place for auto mechanics in all of Las Vegas - and in all of Nevada!!!.

Took my vehicle to another shop and they couldn t even finish the job, called AAMCO and they took good care of me. I highly recommend AAMCO TRANSMISSIONS to everyone! They went up and beyond on my vehicle! Management and staff were amazing and friendly! This is by far the best Transmission/ Auto care.

Friendly and they got the job done right. Would definitely recommend.We recently took my daughter's car here and they fixed the problem as well as stood by there work. When her check engine light came on again they were all over figuring out why. They are so nice, helpful, and excellent at what they do. I will go back for anything I need in the future.
