This is the ABSOLUTE WORST company I have ever given my business to. They do not know what it means to achieve or provide good customer service. I brought my car to them and advised them that I was being told it was my transmission. They misdiagnosed my vehicle, said that it was definitely 100% NOT my transmission but it was my spark plugs. Made me pay $1000 for something that wasn t the actual problem. Then an experienced mechanic there drove my car for 3min and diagnosed transmission . When they were done replacing my transmission, they charged me an addtl $150 to program it and put it back in my car AFTER saying they would wave it over the phone. They lack empathy & understanding and show no professionalism when handling customers $30,000 investments (Their Vehicles) The Front Desk Worker SCOTT will lie to you over and over and will not admit his faults. He put words in my mouth and said that I was the only customer in 40yrs who felt this way. He does not listen to the customer at all!!! If I could give negative stars I would. I will never do business with AAMCO Transmissions ever again. And I will be telling my warranty company about my experience with them

These guys have taken great care of my truck .When it comes to customer service this is where it counts for me . After the sale !They have stood behind their work 100 percent.I will never go anywhere els .Thank you keep up the good work .Son los mejores !! I had made a long road trip from Texas & was experiencing multiple dashboard warnings. These wonderful people took me in on a Monday morning & had me on the road back to Texas Thursday morning with all transmission issues completely resolved. Owner Pamela & Manager Scott could not have been more professional, courteous, thorough, and kind. They really kept my stress level at a minimum. I trust their work 100% and rate them A+++ !!!!!Service: Transmission

The Dodge dealer couldn't see me for 2 days, But Aamco could see me that day.And after the diagnostics, I only need a service. God bless them!

I took my suv there under warranty service with a list of problems I was having. They had it for 3 days and couldn't tell me what was wrong with it. All the while, they refused to submit an initial diagnostic claim with the warranty company while they had my car. On the 3rd day, I went to the shop and drove with the mechanic so he could hear and feel what was going on. Oh now... they know what's wrong. Transmission, duh..and you're the experts? You couldn't tell me that 2 or 3 days ago??? I went back and forth with them to contact warranty company before repairing it, but they wouldn't do it. They then refused to service my SUV and gave me my keys back. Keep in mind, this repair shop was in network with warranty company. An hour AFTER I left, I received a text that Aamco filed a claim with the warranty company. Umm, how you going to say you diagnosed the SUV on the 1st day, but for 3 days you couldn't tell me what was wrong? And not until I pointed it out. Yeah, don't bring your car here.

One of the fairest and nicest mechanic shops I've ever come across. You are charged a fair and honest price for exemplary work. If they say you need work done on your vehicle, you need it done. They'll even tell you when not to have the work done, so they won't waste your time or money.

The owner and employees are the BEST. Customer service is fabulous, , know what they need to do to keep you safe on road, and do more than any tother place onz earth to help. I recommend this business to anyone whoneeds an honest auto mechanic !!!!We spent a whole afternoon to get repaired that was totally not on their schedule, so we could make it back home to Dolan Springs safely.And at a reasonable rate.Thank you Pamela and Rock

You have a lot of choices for automotive service in Las Vegas to choose from. When it comes to Honesty, Professionalism, Knowledge and Respect their are only 2 shops I recommend. AAMCO on Valley View is one of them.

I have never encountered such friendliness and honesty in a mechanic shop as I did at this particular AAMCO. They added a transmission cooler to my truck and did an oil change. They could have sold me on changing all the transmission fluid, but they said it wasn't needed. As for the rest of the work, they did it quickly and for a lower price than the estimate. This is the place to go for transmission work and very friendly owners. Thank you!Services: Transmission, Oil change

If I could give -5 Stars I WOULD, do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! I've had horrible dealings with car repair places and it is NOTHING compared to what I dealt with here.SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Quality work, amazing customer service, very fair, and (most importantly) completely honest. I will ONLY take my vehicles to this exact shop. I've been a customer since 2007, and never have had anything less than a wonderful experience. They will always call you BEFORE doing work, discuss your options, explain the urgency and why. The estimates I have gotten from either Scott or Kyle have always been very close to actual price. In terms of more expensive repairs, 1 quote was dead on. The other 2 had the final price come in under the quote (which is always exciting).I couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommend this shop.

Had neutral safety switch replaced as well transmission shift gears adjusted on an older Nissan Xterra. I highly recommend them, especially Scott. They were welcoming, very friendly, highly experienced and worked on my car with no issues. Very excellent pricing and an awesome job done. Couldn't say enough good things about them and will always recommend them. Thank you so much for your work!

If there was a letter grade for customer service and actual repair work. I would give it an F-.Absolute horrible experience here, my worse at any business in the Las Vegas area.The staff is entitled, rude, careless, lazy and that is just the start.Cant believe they are allowed to use the AAMCO name.Service: Transmission

Went for an engine diagnosis. Spoke to Scott who was super friendly and helpful. Got a very reasonable quote and was in and out in no time. It's very hard to find a good mechanic but we were lucky to find a great one. Will definitely be back for our other cars (well hopefully not too much, no one wants frequent car problems right).

It s absolutely wonderful to know that there are still honest, reliable and reasonable businesses out there. AAMCO on Valley View is one of them. Scott and Pamela were very friendly people to interact with. The work I needed to have done was completed quickly and for a reasonable price. My daughter's transmission went out, 1500 miles from home. After checking around and talking with Scott Harvey, I had it towed to their shop. Their prices were competitive and the warranty fantastic. Fast, professional work. Delivered on time, and to the quoted price. I flew out and (nervously) drove the car back to Ohio a week later. It's been a couple of months now, and the car has not had a problem since. I highly recommend anyone who is having car troubles, to use these guys!!!

Scott has Been my mechanic since I had am issue with my car about two years ago. I found it strange that the guy that picked me up from the rental company spoke sup highly about him. He started being his customer for 20 years and not trusting anyone else in Las Vegas with his car.From the first visit I realized why. Scott and his son Kyle have been amazing on their service, customer relationship and satisfaction. Ir has been great with mt cat and those odd my girlfriend's and those I recommended them with.I cannot think ever think if anyone else to be trusted with their vehicle than Scott and Kyle at AAMCO.

DO NOT DO SHOP HERE !!! Unless you like losing money, being lied to, not getting any return calls and being hung up on when they mess up.THEY GIVE AAMCO A HORRIBLE NAME!

Honestly can't speak highly enough of this business. Took cards and handed them out to all my coworkers. Had people respond that their car drives much better after visiting (same with me). This is a family location and they are really good people, they have gone above and beyond for me several times. I only trust my wife's car with them.

Took my van in for transmission issues and was handled with absolute honesty and integrity. Repair ended up being even cheaper than quoted and wasn't given the typical chain mechanic spiel trying to get me to spend more money on things that dont need fixing. Owner Scott and son Kyle are super friendly and professional. Definitely will have my repeat business in the future.

I rarely write reviews but I absolutely have to recommend this team. I was told about them by a mechanic from another shop - so already I knew it was legit. They are genuine, honest, and very upfront about everything unlike so many places in Vegas.They gave me an extremely reasonable quote, fixed it quickly, then came out with a lower price at the end. What mechanic actually beats their own quote instead of overselling you? I walked out the door paying a fraction of what other shops wanted just to do the diagnosis and before actually fixing anything.I went into fixing my car with a real sense of dread because I was expecting to just have my bank account cleaned out. This was such a nice treat to get a real honest mechanic and price that it really made my day. Wouldn't ever go anywhere else for a transmission.

I never write reviews, however, I felt compelled to write a review in this case. This company deserves an A+ for their service, quality of workmanship & customer care. I took my diesel Ford Excursion to Scott as the transmission was slipping. They diagnosed it & found it needed a full rebuild (I did have it diagnosed by a Ford dealer & they'd told me the same thing). He gave me a very fair price (1/2 what Ford quoted) & finished the job by the scheduled date. The transmission now has 5000 miles on it since it was rebuilt & is working great. So refreshing to find a company that provides quality, friendly service. They've earned my business. Thanks, guys!

Scott, Kyle and Pam are like extended family. We have been customers for the past 10+ years & time after time they have always taken care of our cars needs without no issues. They are the most honest folks and we know without a doubt that they will always take care of our cars needs without the added worries. They have also far exceeded their customer service and gone above and beyond to assist with unscheduled issues. Several times we've had family from out of town with car issues, they never skipped a beat and even with their busy schedule and shortened Saturday hours always found time to accommodate them (for that we are gratefully thankful). This is a grade A business, and my husband and I will continue being customers for as long as they are around!

HiThis AMMCO on valley view is very good place to do business!Scott and Kyle are very honest and knowledgeable about every make of car. I would recommend them to my family. The prices are better than dealer.The employees, staff, owners are very friendly and seem to diagnose car problems quickly and at no charge.I will be using them from now on to service my car.Only con was the office area, waiting area, and chairs could use a spring cleaning but I say that about most businesses since I own a cleaning company!

I rarely write reviews, but the service I received here was awesome! I had my transmission rebuilt for $1,800, and my car has been running awesome for 6 months now. A lot of mechanics seemed to just want to replace it with a brand new transmission for $3,000, or find me a used one. I am not from Las Vegas, but I just happened to be traveling at the time, and you just can't beat the prices for most things in Vegas. It's very refreshing to find someone who wants to actually save you money, and still do a top notch job. They even finished a day early, If you live in AZ, CA, or UT, and live close enough, it may be cheaper for you to come here (for something major like a transmission at least). I got a hotel room at Super 8 from Sunday - Thursday; 5 nights for $200 total (be sure to come during the week since the weekend rates are actually quite higher). You could easily just sit back, and enjoy a vacation while you wait for the repairs. Talk to Scott. He was extremely nice, and very professional. He will get you taken care of!!

They get the job done in a timely manner. Pretty much same day service. Such has removing and installing a transmission in a few hours.and the warranty is fantastic 3 years with unlimited miles .Great service. I recommend them if think you got transmission troubles.
