In late December of 2023, I had a massive coolant leak. Midas was the closest place I could easily get to and ultimately had no choice but to go here. After over $1800 to replace 2 coolant tubes and a thermostat, my car is now over heating again. I brought it back to give them an opportunity to fix it, in case it was from the work they had done previously. Now they're saying something about some fans, and I have a hole in my radiator and are trying to charge over 2k. Stating it's 7 hours of work, at $250/hr. I told them to give me my car back and I would go somewhere else.They are beyond overpriced, try to hustle you for everything, and honestly need to be investigated at this point after reading the reviews. I will be making a complaint to corporate and even called a different Midas, and they told me it would be cheaper with them. That each Midas makes their own prices.

After an oil change, I was told that my vehicle needed breaks.Additionally, I was told that they would charge me a hundred and fifty dollars for a diagnostic on my vehicle. I had to remind staff that the light was on and that was part of the reason I brought my vehicle in. I took my vehicle to another place for a second opinion about the brakes and was told My vehicle did not need breaks after all. Although the staff was friendly and helpful, they dropped the ball when it came to recommendations and taking care of, or even acknowledging my service engine light.

Came the day before as a walk in but they were too busy so I made an appointment for the following day. No biggie.They got my truck in and out for an oil change within an hour. They were also able to identify problems I knew of but didn't mention.No issues redeeming my Groupon purchase for the oil change. I only had to pay for the disposal fee and extra quart used.I would come back for other services and future oil changes.

Came in to to do some maintenance and repairs. The cost was overpriced as you would expect. After my car was returned to me, the same issues it had continued. When I brought it back in, they said they had missed something but then tried to charge me an additional amount

Gifted a Groupon to someone for this location. Very rude and condescendingMaybe they should not be on Groupon if they don t want the business. They need to hire some people that have customer service. This is unacceptable and will be reported to both the vendor and corporate. Learn how to treat customers better.

Don t bother coming here, never felt so disrespected in my life coming in for a simple full synthetic oil change and they told me the usual you need to get stuff on my car replaced due to wear n tear and despite me going to a different car shop the next day down the rd why did they tell me that all the repairs & maintenance that Mark said were required to be done on my car were all good and nothing needed to be done about it. Talk about a shady business technique, to sit here and tell people who wouldn t want to be stranded on the side of the road & telling them these repairs would leave you stranded if not dealt w/ immediately despite me not even needing them I wonder if both of my air filters even needed replacing or if that was a quick $70 for them. Corporate definitely needs to keep an eye on this Midas specifically because I couldn t imagine the 100 s of $ that people have probably been charged for unknowingly.Service: Oil change

Went into store to get a check on my brakes on a new car that I bought for peace of mind. I hand the manager call me to inform me that I needed to change the rotors, brakes and have new bearings. My car only has 16000 original miles. $700.00 after I went to pick up my car and ask to see the rotors and still look perfectly new to me and other knowledgeable . When the service technician walked me to my car I notice the driver door half way open I a big chick in the door. I immediately called the manager and he was very apologetic of what has happened. He explained that he that he didn't know how it happened.I called Midas Corporation the next morning and still no phone call back. I called back today and the put me back on the beginningof the call back list...I take lots of pride in my vehicle's in their prestine condition. I have done lots of work here before BUT time I fell that I and my vehicle were not cared for and bamboozled. .BEWARE. .Service: Brakes

No last minute drop off service, understandable so I make an appointment. With an appointment I can rest assured I ll drop my car off, get my oil changed and pick it up in a reasonable amount of time. So I thought. They say it s a2hr wait because of other cars in front of mine.Did the other cars not make an appointment, why did I bother with an appointment if it s not honored. My time is just as valuable as theirs, not happy with Midas.

Why do you have oil changes on Groupon when you don t honor it? I made an appointment and when I got there said we can t take your Groupon. So I paid with my debit card, they said that they price match it? $10 more isn t price match? Very unprofessional. The guy said he called me when my oil change was done? I looked at my phone, no calls. Very inconvenient to waste my time. I will not be returning to this place with unprofessional employees.Service: Oil change

I usually stall on oil changes on my car, however, I had extra time to get this done not only was this quick and easy but I really enjoy this location. I have been to another Midas but it was a long time ago, and the experience wasn t the best.I even overslept for my initial appointment and they were still kind enough to allow me come in later the same day.It is hard finding people to go to on a regular for your card to trust, and I definitely plan on coming back and telling Friends and Family.Not to mention it to spectacular customer service.Please come here if you haven t already!!

Very terrible customer service on the phone . Doesn t want to take ur car in service because they not willing to buy or carry the oil that u needs for ur car . Manager name Jeff is terrible as customers service and Hang up on customer because he doesn t want to hear what customer got to saying. Doesn t want to take customer purchasing Voucher from Groupon because they feel like they are not making any money off u . This business location should get a 1 star.

They did an oil change on my car and didn't make the necessary checks with the10 point inspection courtesy check They marked everything in green when in fact the car is in need of a few suggested and required fixes. My check engine light is still on, I had a code pulled at Auto Zone and it is indicative that I need a new air filter (that box is checked OK)What they did was unprofessional and untrustworthy of ever receiving my business again. THIS IS MY SECOND TIME DOING BUSINESS WITH MIDAS AND THE SECOND LOCATION I'VE BEEN WRONGED AT. I will be calling corporate.

Called about a misfire, Mark told me bring it in that very next morning to check it . I brought it in and couple hrs later he gave me a run down of everything my car needed, which was more than I thought... he thoroughly went thru the details and costs with me . Since it was more than I thought he was able to work with me since I got multiple repairs done . It was up and working that same day! These guys work efficiently. Don't be afraid to ask them questions, they don't mind answering .As for the atmosphere: it was very laid back and easy going .Location : right across street from taco bell and vons , off windmill parkway

My car over heated so took it to this location, they recommended I needed a flush and new thermostat, times are tough atm so the manager Chadd Barnett referred me their easypay option. I applied and got accepted for it which is great! So went ahead and did it, car is running great no issues over weeks ago! I just hung around till it was finished I had 2 kids with me so they played with the toys there and it's by a chevron, so easy to go get snacks and drinks for them as for myself. Was treated great and done in timely matter! Will recommend and will be going back to get more things done!

The staff here are always very helpful and make sure they get the best price they can. I have always had excellent experiences with every member of the staff and they are very fast. I walked in needing all new rotors and pads without an appt and they had it all taken care of in like 2 hours. Still working on other cars just as fast.

Mark made the repairs we needed simple to understand. We have some future repairs "to do list" now.Our van was fixed and on time. The cost worked with our budget... and we thank you.Corey was our mechanic that fixed the main problem to get us road ready. This is a long story but we started out at Pep Boys with some brake issues because we had bought brakes there 6 months ago. They advised us we needed a new master cylinder which we agreed to have replaced. Ten minutes before we were to pick up the car their manager called us to say that the car was acting the same as it was before they repaired the MC and now they assumed it was a different issue. Mind you we had to pay $1050 for a master cylinder repair that didn t fix the issue! The manager at Pep boys was so rude and dismissive that we sort of lost faith and trust in them. We decided to not move forward with letting them find issues on our dime. After some research and reading reviews I called this Midas location on Windmill and begin working with Chad. He was so nice and explained everything so that we could understand the work that had been done and what our next steps might look like. He and his team took a day to research the issue and found that I needed a part that was no longer made by the manufacturer. They were going to have to search junk yards for the part. He took the time to explain how the part worked, what we could expect as he searched for the part and even estimated our future cost. After some thought we decided not to have the car repaired it was older and was going to cost more than it was worth. Chad and his team at Midas made us feel like family. We had complete confidence in their diagnosis and are so grateful for the service they provided. I wish we had taken the car there first because we probably could have saved $1050, which by the way after doing more research was way over what other shops including other Pep Boys would have charged us. The young man who checked us out even shared with us his insights on what car to purchase next based on common repairs he sees in certain makes/models. I had asked around a few different shops to have my front wheel bearings done in my 05 F350. Finally I stumbled upon midas. And let me tell you the customer service was amazing. Chad Barnett tool great care of me and my truck. He personally called me and had me walk in to look at my truck on the rack and explained everything that the techs were going to do and how they were going to do it. Corey Loper. The tech did an amazing job at getting it done fast and correctly. Even the general manager, Jimmy, assured I was in great hands. Ib will be taking every vehicle I own, plus all of my fleet vehicles. Had a good experience with them before, but most recently experience has been awful. Very little communication and have had my car for a week and still can t find the issue. They aren t as skilled as a thought before. Will not be bringing any of my cars to them again
