Johnny D's came recommended by a friend. After another establishment recommended rear shocks and a new engine mount, I brought it here for a second opinion. Bottom line...the shocks were fine & the estimate to repair the engine mount came in less expensive than the other place. So, yeah...I'm bringing it back here next week for repair. I appreciate the honest assessment I was given.

I don t take my vehicles to the shop often because most fixes I can do myself. However, there are occasions where the problems exceed my mechanical knowledge and abilities. I don t trust auto shops, but Johnny D s is the exception! They are family owned and operated! Extremely friendly, from the office ladies to the mechanics in the shop. Their service is prompt, thorough, and HONEST! They even have Christian music on the radio when you walk in(this, alone, sealed the deal for me). They didn t try to up sell me on anything and Johnny D took the time to personally show me what the problem was exactly and gave suggestions on preventative maintenance. The cost of labor was more than reasonable and competitive! These folks are extremely personable and their customer service made my family feel like we were THEIR family! My service was done on Halloween day and they sent me home with bags of candy and glow stick toys for all of my kids!!! C mon, how many big chain shops will do that for their customers? None! This shop and family made an impression on us and they are now our go-to auto shop! By far the best shop in town not even close! Honest, up front & not shady like the other clown in town. Who ripped me off & left my 51 not running. Took it to Johnny he fixed their incompetent mistake in an hour for 1/4 of the price.

Johnny D s is my new go to for car maintenance and repairs. I ve had my engine check light on for months, and all other mechanics literally just guessed what it could be without actually looking at the car. Johnny D s was the first to actually look the car over and found where my car had a literal hole! Needless to say he s the one I m trusting with my car and recommending

Johnny D s was an honest, knowledgeable professional, who treated us with respect. He looked over the whole car, really checking it out. I felt very safe having this machine give the car a good once over. The dealership advised that I needed a brake fluid flush and some other things (they wanted a large sum of money). I took my truck to Johnny D's and Johnny took a look and informed me that everything looked normal. He checked the other "issues" that were mentioned by the dealership and informed me that everything the dealership was wanting to do was just "fluff". I appreciate Johnny's honest opinion and help.Thanks Johnny!

I just move into the neighborhood, I need oil change and check my engine light that came on which causes me to fail smog test. I got my oil change and even gave me military discount. They check the cause of my engine light which was due to dust. They are super friendly and very nice. Highly recommend and I will be back for all my car need.

They were absolutely wonderful. They did the job and checked my vehicle. They notified me my rear brakes needed to be done and did it for a fair price. They are always pleasant and fast.

I was treated like a valued customer. From my initial appointment booking and through the repair process. The Technician personally phoned me with updates and options which were relevent and important to my repairs. Great family business with a gentle and caring attitude. The repairs were just as needed and my desired outcome has been obtained. I was not overcharged, but undercharged because the parts I supplied were not usable. I will be back when the correct parts arrive and will continue to go back. Johnny D's knows thier way around the old school muscle cars. I'll never know how good this business is since the owner never had the common courtesy to call me back after I paid an in-person visit to him and supplied him with pictures he requested. Two phone calls later to the business and still no reply. This is not how you treat potential customers.

Great outstanding service!!! If I could give 10 starts I would. They have the most integrity out of any car shop we've been to in Vegas! Reasonably priced and very nice and respectful. Will take a little time to get done but you can guarantee you'll have great results for a great price!

I had such a great experience there. Called last minute for an oil change and they got me in super quick. They truly treat you like family and super affordable pricing! Other shops would ve charged double what they did. Will continue to go there for any of my car needs.

I was in a bit of a urgent car matter my car completely felt on me as I was driving. I called Johnny D's and the receptionist was calm and helped me get through my panic. She transferred me to someone that was able to walk me questioning. They were extremely professional and helpful when it came to getting me in to be seen in a timely manner. It only took 4 days to get me in for an appointment. I was really scared that I was something awful. So I had a friend bring my car in and was able to come to a conclusion with the mechanic that it was not my alternator. It was just a really dead battery. I'm definitely not used to this Nevada heat damaging any parts of my car. But without being said they were great and I would definitely recommend them to anybody else.

Johnny and his family are priceless! My first time there, I asked if they could replace the slave cylinder on my Ford Ranger and bleed the system. They said they can do it, so I dropped the truck off at 5pm on Tuesday. I also asked if it was possible to have it done by Wednesday evening because I have a church obligation on Thursday. John is so awesome..he said he could do it..and he did! I just can't say enough good things to convey how well I was treated, and how good of a job they did for me. I'm a customer for life. I found Johnny D's to be an honest, Christian, family owned business who is fair and reasonable with work and prices. I got a transmission flush done on a visual leak inspections in a timely manner. Mechanics are friendly, some Veterans, and citizens of Metro LVNV area. Mr. Johnny gave me a fair and reasonable estimates on my leak problems from a cost/ benefit analysis based on the customer's point of view. Best experience I've had at a shop in henderson. They worked on my gmc. They estimated having it overnight but were fast and got the problem fix and back on the road in a couple hours. I strongly recommend them. Loves the family oriented feeling as well. Support local shops.
