Last year I took one of my vehicles in for a diagnosis and repair = I should have put in a review then as well. But I was very happy with the result, and it was quicker and much less expensive than going to my default Honda dealer.Then last week I needed routine maintenance on my other older model car, so I thought of AAA Henderson. It was easy to get an appointment and since it was not a major repair, I waited on site. Pleasant staff, professional, courteous, on time, and fair.While I was waiting I overheard many of their phone and in person conversations with customers and was even more convinced that these folks really aim to do their best at a fair price and show genuine concern for the customer.I will keep coming back for sure.

UPDATE!! They charged me for work they never did!!So come to find out.. these guy s never replaced my wheel bearing hubs that I paid for (driver & passenger side) these guys are dishonest people. Take your cars elsewhere! About 6 months ago my front driver side wheel was making noise, long story short, brought it in & they told me it was my wheel bearing hub, which confused me because Sunset Auto supposedly replaced them both (driver side & passenger) called the shop about the issue because I still have ALL my receipts till this day & Dave said he would call me back on the matter, never did! So I had to pay AGAIN to have it fixed correctly. Once I did the noise stopped. Fast forward to about a month ago.. my passenger side wheel was acting up & making noise just like the other side did, but worse! The mechanic shop confirmed they have never been changed & let me keep the parts (will insert pictures) I had to pay another shop to fix the issue. Sunset Auto charged me for work they never did on my car. There are so many other honest shops around the Henderson area. I suggest you do some research before bringing your vehicle to this place.The guy in the office tried to FIGHT ME. Without going into too much detail.. This was the WORST experience I have ever had with a mechanic shop or any business in general. Don t let the nice guy act fool you, these guys are dishonest and overpriced! The first time I had to bring my car back was for an air pump repair that wasn t done correctly because the engine light came back on after I picked my car up. I called them to let them know and I was told ok, bring it back in. so I had to sacrifice another full day to get it fixed, again. The second time I came back was for brakes and rotors.. long story short, after the brake job was done my car started shaking when using brakes due to defective parts (again) I brought it back for a second time and Mike (the owner) gave me a rough time honoring the warranty because they said my control arms needed to be replaced (that s not true, I got a second opinion from another shop with pictures included).. so after the SECOND time, it happened again! Now I m back for the third time because Mercedes Benz repairs are not cheap. Mind you, my car never had this shaky issue prior to me coming to this shop. So recently I brought it back for the THIRD time to fix my brakes.. and Joe (guy in the office) tried to fight me. Yes, literally got up and took his glasses off cursing at me. All because he said he was tired of dealing with me..Really?? but I m the one who spent the money and has to continue to take time out of my life because this establishment cannot get it together. That was very unprofessional, very disrespectful and disgusting. Also, there was a lady leaving the same time that I did and she said she s been a customer for several years but is never coming back, due to bad customer service and dishonesty. I don t suggest you spend your hard earned money at this place. At least get a second opinion elsewhere to see if they re being honest with you. I wish I could give zero stars!Service: Brakes

These guys are amazing! My cat broke down when I was leaving Vegas to go back to Arizona. They were quick to diagnose the issues have me the best pricing and fixed my car! My car drives better than when I brought it to them!! Super friendly knowledgeable and professional thanks guys!!

Can't say enough about the honesty and ethics of Dave and his crew. They are the bomb!!! Never had a better experience with auto repair. They are stuck with me and my silly little Smart Car! Thank you, guys

For the first time in a very long time I did not feel as though I was ever pressured to get work done on my car that wasn't necessary. Zack at the front desk was incredibly knowledgeable and honest. I needed my car to be gone over completely before taking a road trip. They didn't find anything wrong and just changed the oil and replaced a part I asked them to replace. That was it. Many shops would have found something else to fix or replace but Sunset has a reputation for honesty. They didn't find any issues and they didn't make anything up. I'm very grateful to have found this shop. I am a lifetime customer now. All the employees were friendly and the man who gave me a ride to and from home while they worked on the car could not have been more kind.

Dave and team always take care of my Ford. Was Quoted 3x as much for a motor mount at Midas. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable and honest. Best repair place in town.

AAA are the New owners here and my experience here last week sucked. They said bring the car at 8am for quick check up of a sound they said 3 month a go at this location that it need service.I called at 4:30 pm and still has not Benn checked. 5 pm they called your car is fine ( no problems ) I see in the back but you need a battery.Service and all $340.I said no thanks. Payed $55 service charge and went to AUTO Zone and showed the guy the ticket from AAA Auto. He looked and said your lucky u left because you're battery is still good no need to chage yet next year some time. Thanks Auto Zone I gues I need a new mechanic, ok thanks.AAA Auto that sucks guys.

Sunset Auto has expertise in BMW and provides fair and honest service which is a rarity in this business.They do not try to sell you additional services that you don't need... They will diagnose your vehicle, tell you what they think you need, and leave it up to you whether you want to proceed -- which is appreciated.The guys at the front desk are courteous and knowledgeable. I have brought my car here a few times now and have always been more than pleased. Dave and the whole team do excellent work. They do everything they can to get your vehicle back to you in a timely manner and they really stand by their work and honor their 2 year warranty with no hassles. This is a top notch shop and your car will be in great hands here.

This million star review is over due! Joe is the best! He s always accommodating. I do my best to have an appointment, however sometimes my job makes me walk in status at times. How I found Mike & crew is my car overheated in front of his place 2 years ago. My car is my office. I m so grateful it was this family owned, classy, business that my car chose. The most important part of using an auto service business is Trust. How do you really know if a auto repair place is telling you the truth if you don't have a ton of experience or knowledge on complex mechanical issues. In this case our 2010 mini has been having a lot of mechanical problems recently. Expensive problems. Sunset has been straight forward and truthful all along giving us sound advice and price breaks wherever they can. The only thing I would like to see improvement on is time and customer communication. I do understand that small biz with high volume (and no space to park cars) is a real challenge. But they can help resolve that by keeping customers better informed on progress or a lack thereof. I find Sunset to be a trustworthy, and reliable place to do business with.

Even the toughest they can figure out. Diligence perseverance and utmost professionalism. Recommend you give them a shout. I only trust my cars with them. Bmw kept my car over a month quibbling with insurance company only to not fix the glitch. I have a Saab and it's hard to find technicians to work on those cars in Las Vegas. After moving to Las Vegas, I found Sunset Auto and have been using them for 6 years. They are great. Great customer service, they take care of my car and keep it running great. I trust their recommendations on keeping my car running well and feel their pricing is reasonable. Dave in the front is terrific along with everyone else I encounter. I don't think twice on taking my car to Sunset! I wanted to share my positive feed back that I had with this auto shop, they really do deserve it. I had a really bad leak from my washer fluid pump, when I went to take it to the dealership they wanted to charge me $2000 to have it fixed. $100 part and the rest was labor. I was very frustrated and drove around at 7am trying to figure out where I was going to go. I wanted a shop that knew about imported, overly priced cars and I came across Sunset Auto. When I walked in i was immediately greeted by the nicest guy working the service desk (Dave) He immediately made me feel comfortable, he was truthful and I felt like I had nothing to worry about. For a girl walking into an automotive shop by herself, that s a big thing.I brought my BMW in a week later because of my schedule and it was finished by the end of the day. Dave was very up front with all costs and repairs, it cost me a small portion of that the dealership was trying to charge me. I would definitely come back here again! Thank you David and everyone at Sunset Auto for taking care of my car. Side note, they also have a shuttle to transport you somewhere while you drop off your car.

Finding a reputable car repair service is easier said then done. I discovered Sunset a little over a year ago when I moved to Henderson. Mike and his team are professional, honest, skillful and reasonable. No unpleasant surprises. Successfully diagnosed and fixed "check engine light" and engine running rough. Also detected a small radiator leak and fixed it under warranty. Excellant and honest service! I first used Sunset Auto when having issues my Range Rover (who DOESN'T?) and now my current vehicle. Had my transmission fixed, headlight and a few other small things on my import car. Sunset Auto is the best! Fair prices and honest mechanics.Great staff, especially Dave! He's the best.

Honest, Reliable, Accommodating!!!I had squeaky brakes, needed brake pads changed, Sunset Auto got me in quickly. They even have a shuttle service after you drop off your car. When they checked my brakes, turns out I didn't need pads, just had dirty pads. I've NEVER taken my vehicle in for work and had a mechanic tell me I didn't need ANYTHING and there wouldn't be a charge. My father was a mechanic his whole life, an honest one, he passed away 7 years ago, and I'm soooo grateful I've found Sunset Auto. Thank you to all my neighbors for referring them! I will refer everyone I know to Sunset Auto, no matter what part of town they live in. They drive is more than worth the peace of mind that you're doing business with stand up people. I was having mysterious oil consumption, Dave and the crew at Sunset Auto found a factory defect that the Subaru Dealership didn't tell me about until it was too late. Referred by a friend, I tried Sunset 6 months ago and was very satisfied. I just came in for my service again and used a Christmas discount mailing from them.
