We were really happy and impressed with Bob's. Friendly, fair prices, and excellent service! Had us back on the road in about an hour.While pulling our trailer through Gardnerville, a kind person pulled along side and told us we were dragging our electric plug and it was damaged. We pulled over and took a look -- a show stopper if you need A/C in the summer! We found Bob's was nearby and they took us immediately. What great luck that we happened to be there. I would use this service center anytime if we were in the area.

This place is amazing. We are on a 2-3 month camping trip with our van cat and our brakes were acting up. Bobs took us with a days notice. They allowed us to camp in our camper on their lot while waiting for parts. They were professional and kind and explained everything. We are very pleased with their service.

We blew a spark plug on our class c RV with Ford V10 by Topaz Lake. We phoned all over for a repair facility but most could not look at the rig for weeks. Got a suggestion to call Bob s. They said get towed and that we could plug in in front of their shop. Towed in and arrived after hours and we re able to happily plug in as temperatures were in the teens. They knew the problem and had the tools and got the parts and repaired the same day. Fix has to cure over night. Came back the next morning and rig was all set to go. Price was fair and staff was great and experienced. Thanks for the hospitality and getting us back on the road quickly.

Bob's Performance to the rescue! First trip with travel trailer since last year, and right on cue toilet flush valve leaks. Searched RV parts near me, I am staying at Coleville/Walker KOA, and a few places cameup, and Bob's was the only one open on a Saturday. Bob's had the part. Only a 30-mile trip from KOA. Toilet fixed. Bob himself was there and thanked me for coming. BONUS! He had some free fresh fruit also. I recommend Bob's Performance! Especially on a Saturday.

I can say that I would bring any vehicle to them. They were fast, kind and courteous. Got my vehicle done quickly! Definitely will use them again.

Been using Bob's for years for my diesel truck and 5th wheel maintenance and repair. Not the cheapest but hasn't ripped me off and the work is trustworthy.

Lady so called Tracy on the phone going through an ego trap was completely rude started cursing in the background for no reason and hung up on me, didn't want to answer my question for me to understand better when I'm currently in an emergency brake situation stuck on a steep road. Unprofessional phone etiquette to the max and don t recommend this useless business to anyone.Update: I was able to find a chain business that is way more professional and trustworthy, cheaper and faster repair :)

I won't even go IN that store after the lady who answered the phone spoke to meet like I'm an idiot. OF COURSE I'm not versed liked you are, after all this is YOUR specialty, I'm the consumer. Two other stores answered my question based on what I told you and were able to provide a price. I will NOT be spending MY hard cash in your establishment.

I wouldn't let this place work on a birdhouse, never mind your RV. These people are rude, unprofessional, lazy, uniformed and don't know the first thing about customer service. I brought my camper to have them check the furnace. In less than 15 minutes Bob, owner, called me back to let me know there is nothing they can do. He told me they couldn't find any diagnostics online and they were not familiar with the brand furnace. They never bothered to call the manufacturer. I asked for them to at least check the LP pressure going into the furnace. They called back and said they checked it and it was fine. Well they were wrong. I called the manufacturer and was told the pressure needs to be between 12 - 12.5 WC. Bottom line these CROOKS charged me $160.00 and didn't do squat.

My 02 ford E350 had a bad front brake caliper. Bob got me in the same day and found the problem and got me back on the road within 3 hours for an entire front end brake job.Couldn t be happier with the service, attention to detail and customer service.Jacob the tech was knowledgeable and informative. If I could give 10 stars I could.We are back on the road and it s driving like a dream.Thanks guys!

We highly recommend Bob's for RV repair. We have a 2019 Entregra diesel which would not start one morning on our way to Oregon from Las Vegas, NV. We were towed into Bob's after hours on a Tuesday. The mechanic "Tim" started working on our coach first thing the next morning. He was conversing with the Spartan Chassis technicians for an entire day trying to diagnose the issue. Finally giving up on Spartan - Tim and Bob relied on their knowledge and expertise and had our coach running within a couple of hours. We commend Tim for his positive, unrelenting approach to solving our crisis and Bobs extensive knowledge, experience and unmatched hospitality.

Happy to have found such a place! We have recently purchased an RV and needed some work on it and a tow set up. Bob was more than accommodating making us feel like we were one of the family. We were impressed with the knowledgeable and friendly staff. It's obvious to us that they know what they are doing at Bob's Performance. The work done was outstanding, I don't expect any problems with their work in the near future. I can confidently recommend their services to any one that wants the job done right the first time. We look forward to future opportunities to work with Bob's Performance Center and especially Bob himself on all of our RV needs.

We were traveling and our water heater went out on our RV the night before while camping on the side of the road. We pulled into Bob's performance center and he was able to fix it in an hour. We thought we might need to cancel our trip and return home. Great Customer service! Highly recommend this place!

What about Bob,Sort of forgot there a RV service and parts house,. Always knew they're a performance center, needless to say.Let me tell you about Bob's Performance.I need a new water pump for the RV 3 gallon per minute, 3 gpm. Called they had multiple on the shelves, good thing, the gentlemen in the store was buying the same unit. I thought I was going to run around half the day in Carson City, maybe Reno. Bob's had it, so fast, so easy. Had it installed by noon. Had to go to Smith's to go grocery shopping or it would have been done sooner. Leaving for Vacation tomorrow morning thank you Bob for your 28 years of service.

We were on our way home from Lake Tahoe and had to stop because one of the tires in our boat trailer started to smoke. Lucky for us, Bobs Performance Center was only a mile away, so we drove our boat there and Bob took a look and told us what was wrong. He did not try to sell us additional services that we did not need. He explained what he was going to do, and did what needed to be down to allow us to finish our 7 hour drive back home. He offered us cold bottled water and recommended a nearby casino for us to hang out while he worked on our trailer. He got us back on the road a few hours later and charged us a very fair price. We were expecting it to cost a lot more and were very relieved when we received the final bill.We re thankful that Bobs Performance Center was able to help us get home safely and at such a fair price!

Bob and Tracy do not run a professional business the way the city does so to be honest, I felt skeptical most of the time and didn't want to even be face to face with the man. I got my RV back yesterday and met him and his wife for the first time. They had a huge dog and the couch was filthy. The dog is lovable and wanted to see what I brought in the carseat. He was fine after he watched me unbuckle my baby. That still makes me giggle. But I'm not there for cliqueing or giggles. I came to have my rv fixed after being ripped off a couple times before coming in. He got it done and it's running great. I would come back if we got the paneling fixed and a new tub and things like that. It took some time getting the job done but he was very thorough and efficient. I feel like this may hold up very well. Bob and Tracy need some one else to run the front so they can to stick to paper work and repairs. Your customer service is VERY poor. Regardless. Thank you for doing a good job with our vehicle. We just want the kids safe for our move.

Traveling by motorhome across country from Georgia we noticed wear pattern on drivers side tire and thought we felt a rattle. While in South Tahoe we found Bobs online. They said they had work lined up 6 wks out but would check it we all hoped it was an alignment and tire issue. Turned out it was upper and lower ball joints and brake calipers, and knowing that was our home away from home and we had reservations at Yosemite the next day they worked us in. Service like this is exceptional and so appreciated!

Highly recommend Bob's! We broke down during our summer travels and needed someone to help get our 6.0 diesel back on the road. Bob was so great and got our truck running quickly! He was honest, friendly, and professional.

Bob Saves vacationWhile going through the desert with three grandsons we blew a tire and our air conditioning went out. When we got to Bob's for the repair he was completely booked for the day however he seen we had the three little boys with us and took us right in. Not only did they fix the tire and the air the boys were treated to fresh popcorn that the receptionist made for them. Bob and his crew were all so professional and kind I would highly recommend them for any repair needs. Their prices were very reasonable. They saved the day and our vacation

Pulled in on a Friday just after 5PM (My Prius dashboard had suddenly turned into a Christmas tree). Bob and Tracy bent over backwards to help me. Not much they could do on Friday night, but by Saturday mid-morning they had diagnosed the problem, and recommended a place to get the work done as it was out of their RV specialty. Honest from the get go. Great service! What else could you want from a business?

Walked in at 11:50 in the morning on a SATURDAY and wasn't greeted by anyone. Stood there awkwardly until some lady playing with the TV asked " can I help you "? I said yes, looking to get help finding a new rim ( I had the rim in my hand) on my travel trailer. She said NO I CANT HELP YOU WE CLOSE IN 10 MINUTES and then total silence... Great customer service, so friendly! Good luck treating potential customers like garbage.

Bob s Performance ? Well, let me tell you about Bob s Performance. This is not a mechanic shop, it is a parts-changing shop run by a con-man that preys on people who may not understand how their machines work. (To be clear: mechanics diagnose problems, parts-changers just keep putting in new parts until the problem goes away.) Within the first 15 seconds of meeting Bob, he was angrily barking at me about my request for getting the job done in the same day or at least by Saturday (two days away). Needless to say, I had the feeling that I was going to regret trusting this shop with my motorhome. Long story short, Bob was rude, deceitful, and completely disrespectful. Over the phone, I was told the motorhome was ready and was asked to come pick up my motorhome Saturday morning. I was also given the total cost for the work done. When I showed up to get the motorhome (on Saturday), Bob told me he couldn t get it to run and said there was a problem with the fuel delivery system. Please keep in mind that there was previously no issue with this system, I brought it in for a simple oil change and fuel filter change. He immediately assured me that on Monday he would get me a quote to put in a whole new fuel delivery system. Luckily, I have an understanding of diesel engines and suggested that maybe the system wasn t primed right after the work he did. After some animated conversation with this gem of a human being, and a follow-up phone call (Bob yelled at me and hung up because I asked to start by re-checking the work they did and priming the fuel system instead of trying to price out more new parts), Bob s Performance miraculously found that the fuel system wasn t primed correctly! When I showed up to bail out my beloved motorhome from this sad excuse for a shop, I was handed an invoice with over $100 of additional charges related to them fixing the problem THEY CREATED!! The woman working the front counter must be used to this type of scam pulled by Bob because she was pretty quick to offer some discounts that got my bill at least closer to the original invoiced amount. Bottom line, DO NOT use Bob s Performance! Unless of course you don t mind being cheated out of money, having unnecessary work done on your vehicles, or being yelled at by the person you are paying to perform a service. Bob is dishonest and WILL try to cheat you out of your hard earned money, stay away!

Bob's is a brick and mortar, with real heavy equipment and a storefront, amongst a town full of traveling RV repairmen. They certainly are not the cheapest, or consistently the friendliest, but if you want the job done right, usually, then this is the place to go. They also work on autos.

Been there once for RV service, and made an appointment again for RV service. Tried to update the date but got a rude reply from the owner, "I've got 30 customers to serve and only 2 mechanics, so you're not listening to me. Thank you!". In the end I cancelled the appointment with them an will never come here again.

Had some pretty bad damage to the side of my toyhauler from somebody who sideswiped me. Bob and his staff fixed everything back to factory specs in lighting fast speed. Seriously I called them and got in the following week and they were finished in just under three weeks. I highly recommend this establishment.

They were awesome! They took us in on an emergency repair as we passed through town, at a moments notice, and had us out and back on the road in under 3 hours. The cost was much less than we expected too! I highly recommend this business!

Had some trouble with engine power in my rv. They replaced the distributors, did a tuneup and also put in a new muffler within two days. Milage increased by 25% and the RV is now stronger than ever. Lots of business, so better call in ahead of time.

Talk about poor representation - My sister had an awkward issue with representative of this company. The woman was so spiteful and childish over a parking spot she literally blocked the parking space purposely at the Carson Valley Casino so my sister could not park - My sister had to call security to ask her to move while she talked on her cell phone, once the security guard asked her to move, she then had the audacity to drive around the parking lot and take pictures of my sisters license plate. I guess she doesn't like black people. Talk about entitled and privileged - WOW - this small family owned business needs to lighten up
