A gentleman at the front assisted me with an exchange request of headlamp bulbs. The gentleman knew his stuff well, suggested we look at the particular model I was swapping bulbs in, and concluded I had the correct bulbs but had looked in the wrong socket behind the headlamp assembly. However small an issue, he applied his knowledge and made the extra effort to ensure I was getting the right product(in this case, keeping the right product). I've built many an engine, swapped timing chains and rebuilt carburetors - and yet I'm humbled by headlamps. Fortunately, this Autozone location has staff willing to look into your vehicle's issue, and not just hand you parts and take your money. This goes a long way with your customers, and im glad to see its my local store. Also, man card revoked, I should have known the bottom so cket wasn't the low beams. Had he not applied great customer service, I'd have had to return, yet again, albeit much more frustrated and confused. Thanks for the help

Within the last 2 weeks I attempted to make purchases from the store three different times.The first time another customer walked in behind me within a few seconds and when I was heading to ask for assistance at the desk they helped other gentleman first since he appeared to be friends with one of the employees, the other employees were too busy "chatting" with each other ignoring me, so I left.The other two times were similar including yesterday afternoon. I walked in and the employees behind the counter we're too busy talking (non related to purchases) with people they appeared to be aqaunatices and ignoring customers in the aisles.Even an acknowlegemt you are there would have been helpful.This store is not recommended.

So my car battery died on me and I was towed to this autozone because it was the nearest auto parts store that would allow and have room for me to be towed to. I went in and the employee who helped me was very knowledgeable about exactly what I need. He helped me find the correct battery for my car and he went above and beyond installing it for me and making sure all worked well. He even taught me a bit about car batteries and the different kind s available for my vehicle. I wish I remembered his name he deserves a reward for his amazing customer service and support. Thank you Autozone.

Hats off to the employees at this store. Especially John Munk and Dave. Very professional and nice to all customers. Their level of knowledge and great customer service is superb and they should be compensated for their efforts. This is always my go to auto parts store. Thank you again.

Stopped in late to get transparent tape for my brake light. The old tape was peeling off from a long trip. The cashier was not the friendliest and made me feel rushed and uncomfortable as he walked me to where the tape was. Even as I came back I. To buy another roll the experience was the same. Mabey he had a bad day but I'll stop some where else next time

Make sure you confirm the parts you purchase at this location. Staff are incompetent and above everything else, rude. They had me purchase the wrong part for my car that broke down an hour away from their location. I am from southern California and my car broke down on my way home. I was stranded 6 hrs from home and luckily had help from good Samaritans from a nearby town that offered to pick up the part at this AutoZone, only to have the wrong part. I had to stay stranded for another day and lost a day of work because of the carelessness of the staff here. When I called back to notify them of their mistake, not only did they not apologize but had the audacity to be rude. Awful experience!

Words cannot describe what I just went through. There is only 1 person at this store I have been able to somewhat depend on to get me the parts I need. Its a 2 hour round trip to get here. And being that I live so far from town I had hoped to get what I needed the first time. No. Not only did I have to come back twice, I made a grand total of five trips to get the right parts to do a simple brake job. It used to be easy. Not so much anymore. Had all the vehicle info and even brought the old rotors with me. That wasn't enough. By the time I found the right rotors, I found out they gave me the wrong brake pads. After yet another trip in, I had to pay more for pads that would fit because they didn't have the right ones and wanted me to come back 5 hours later. It took a grand total of 7 days and 5trips to finally get the right parts.and thats just this go round. I have a history of ordering parts and they never show up, and getting the completely wrong parts for othe vehicles. Sad to say that I think I'm done with this store.

Worse customer service in the valley. Purchased an axle in February 2021. Needed to be replaced by July 2021. Warranty on part through auto zone. Purchased another axle, was told that if I brought old axle back in box from new axle and receipt from purchase in February and current receipt, they would refund back to my credit card no problem. That isn't what happened at all. Had to argue to receive my money back, total incompetence and lies. My daughter is a mechanic and has a commercial account with auto zone, the employee couldn't even locate the part on her commercial account, that is why I had to bring the original receipt. So.....be careful with the promise of a warranty....it seems that it means you have to battle for the warranty to be "real." I am contacting the corporate office on monday.

Dallas is always very helpful in helping me with my battery problems. He kids me because I have brought in so many in the past year. All the staff is friendly and nice. They usually have everything I need.

I went there last Saturday to shop for a new battery. Employee John M. met me at the door and asked how he could help me. John looked up the proper battery for my vehicle in less than a minute and then offered to install it free of charge. The installation was not easy but John did it in less than an hour! Not only that, he gave me a veteran/law enforcement discount that I was unaware of! Great customer service by John!

They did a great job of finding the correct part. Sadly, O'Reilys had dropped the ball ordering the correctly labeled part for me, then "needed 5 additional days" to get the right one.AutoZone had it in the store, & at a buck cheaper, to boot.Got my business on it!

I broke down on a long drive in Gardnerville on a Sunday evening about 5:00, with my 90 year old mom and I am 70.A kind man diagnosed the burst hose and gave me a parts list and directions to nearby auto parts stores and i walked to auto zone while he went to finish his work day.Auto zone went above and beyond with their serviceThey gave me a ride back, the parts i needed and a discount and called someone to help me.They saved the day!I will always choose to get my parts from them

On a road trip from out of town and had a failing battery, despite a previous mechanic telling me there was nothing wrong with it. Dale diagnosed the problem immediately and replaced my battery. I have better peace of mind now! Thank you!

I have an older truck but they had everything I needed.I was vary happy with my service.I spent the time answer your servay so if you could let the guys at the Gardnerville NV store they did a great job at getting my parts that would be appreciated. Sincerely Michael Pack

So this review is a little late and I apologize for this but special people need to be recognized. I would like to recognize the store manager there I believe his last name is Bass. He told us the story of his daredevil son who is Mountain bike Champion. My buddy and I were returning from a week of fun in Lake Tahoe when my engine light came on. Not knowing the area and my buddy remembering that autozone would check that light for me we found Autozone in Minden. Store manager personally took care of my engine light. It was a challenge because of some technical issue but Mr Bass stayed the course with it and got it resolved. He was more than just a friendly guy and very helpful We left that store feeling like we had made a new friend. My family and I have a Timeshare in the area so I will be stopping in to say hello to my new brother at Autozone in Minden. Thanks a lot you made a great impression!
