was traveling through Ely and needed to have a couple of valve stems replaced on a Jeep. Even though the crew was busy, they squeezed me in and I was back on the road in under an hour. They also were very reasonable on price. Many thanks!

So far my experience with this shop has been poor. I had a wheel bearing installed and after a couple months it s already starting to fail. I definitely wouldn t use this place as a first choice.

As we were leaving Ely, I noticed the engine idly roughly and the car vibrating on acceleration. When we reached the city limit, the SERVICE ENGINE light came on. With 3-4 hours of desert driving ahead of us with few towns and spotty cell service, my wife strongly advised we get it checked out before we leave town.I Googled auto repair in Ely and KRM came up with top ratings. Those ratings are well-deserved.We pulled in and Tracy quickly diagnosed a loose spark plug wire. With a dab of dielectric grease, we had a solid connection. KRM refused to charge me anything. We were back on the road right away and 300 miles later, the car is still running smoothly.If I didn t reside 1000 miles away, I would send all my auto repair business to KRM. You seldom find such a fine combination of expert know-how and fair service. Well done, KRM!Service: Electrical

I would give more stars if I could. I am so very greatful for KRM. My vehicle was shaking very roughly and would sometimes not accelerate especially after coming to a complete stop, so I would be stuck in the middle of intersections sometimes and it was getting pretty dangerous to drive it, especially having two little kids with me. I scheduled an appointment at my regular auto shop, but they forgot about me, which isn't the first time that has happened. I waited there for almost two hours after my appointment time and finally decided to start looking around for a different mechanic. One place couldn't get me in until a week after Thanksgiving, and then I found KRM and the guy was able to move some things around in order to get me in the next day since it's the only vehicle I have. I got back in my vehicle when it was ready and just felt so incredibly thankful for KRM. My vehicle drives and idles very very smoothly now and I'm no longer scared of driving it. I will be returning to KRM with any future vehicle repairs or maintenance that I might need from now on. Thank you so very much!

The check engine light on my Toyota Sienna came on 50 miles outside Ely. It was late around 8pm so I checked into a hotel. The front desk person recommended KRM said it was the best in town. I looked it up online and the reviews were good I went there first thing in the morning. Kim, the owner, checked it out but the diagnostic scanner wasn't detecting the problem so he went old school. He spent about 1 1/2 hours found the problem (it was very minor) took care of it and didn't charge me anything. Said and I quote, "I didn't really do anything. How can I charge you?" Honest, ethical, friendly, and very knowledgeable. You can't go wrong with KRM.

This is an incredible shop with super friendly people. We were driving home to Washington from Vegas and stopped in Ely for gas when we noticed we had no coolant even though KRM was about to close they still made time to take a look at our car and discovered a bad water pump. They stayed after hours to fix our vehicle, drove into town for the parts, had it done faster than expected and the best part was that in the beginning they had quoted us a price that we considered more than fair but when they were done they charged $150 LESS than the original quote. They could ve easily charged us the original quote and we would have paid it gladly. Very honest people and a shop with a lot of integrity. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Thanks for getting us back on the road safely!

Great customer service, and very friendly. I was 900 miles from home and needed a faulty cv shaft replaced. These guys went above and beyond to get me on my way. They did a thorough and excellent job. Also, great rate. Less than I would expect for quality work.

Thank you so much. I showed up about 30 minutes before they opened but the door was open and the owner was getting ready for a busy day. All i needed was an oil change since I was 1000 miles overdue and 1000 still to go on the road trip. He did it right then in about 15 minutes and got me down the road. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you again!

This Shop is as honest and helpful as they get. It's hard to find this these days. We were driving from Cali to Idaho and had just had an oil change The day prior in California. We stopped at a rest area and noticed our car smoking and leaking oil, we stopped at KRM where Tim, the owner stopped what he was doing to see what we needed and quickly offered to pull out his flashlight and start looking around at the potential problem. . He said we had a lot of oil on the undercarriage and that the people that did the oil change likely did not put the dipstick in properly causing damage to the dipstick which caused the oil to spew out along the way. He added oil and tied the dipstick down . He only charged us for the oil which was such a blessing. Thank you again Tim for being such an honest shop and taking care of us. If you are ever in the need of someone that will give you an honest and fair job look no further than KRM .Service: General repairs & maintenance

Our radiator cracked outside of Ely. Once the replacement radiator arrived from Salt Lake City, the crew here had it in and we were back on the road in less than two hours. Top notch customer service.

While traveling at highway speed our ABS syetem was damaged when splash guard flew off car and broke wires under the wheel well. Kim diagnosed and repaired the wiring on the spot. Wonderful service from the entire staff.

Take your vehicle to Kim and his crew at KRM Repair. These guys found us a new alternator the same day, swapped it in the parking lot with our trailer still hooked up and had us fixed before it was even time for margaritas. PS: If they hook you up with that short of a notice .they drink Miller.

i was passing through on my way back to utah when my 2001 toyota tundra broke down. turned out to be the tensioner pulley for the serpentine belt. i went into napa auto parts, but they didnt have a pulley that would fit. the napa guy suggested that i go to KRM just down the road because they drive toyota trucks and work on them frequently he said. the KRM guy immediately knew what i was looking for and had a 4.7L V8 toyota engine that he was able to pull the part from. very friendly and quick dude
