Bought new tires for my car. These guys were all about giving me the best price and service they possibly could and boy did they deliver!The final price for the performance tires(94y) I received was incredible.The excellent service and attention to Detail and to my concerns was simply "gravy"!They made a repeat customer out of me for sure.

Traveling with my wife and kids we were ran off the road by a car trying to pass a semi . Tire started leaking . Only one tire place open in ( Ely NV) . Big 8 ,we showed up minutes before closing . Daniel was very polite , efficient really efficient. I am a truck driver by trade . We see a lot of tire shops . This guy is A+ 5 star . I highly recommend for travelers like myself . Quickest I ve been back on the road.

Few weeks ago I've asked them to replace and balance my 4 tires. The youngest guy asked me to come over on Saturday morning. I did it but I had to wait 45 minutes because he was late. A week latter I've came back because I've noticed my steering wheel was shaking. The same guy told me that he has no time to check it and asked to come back the other day. I came back fallowing Friday and asked him to re-balance all wheels. He went outside and said that he did a good job and if my steering wheel shaking it must be some technical problem with the car. I need to mentione I have 2y old RAM 1500. I have told him I must drive to San Diego over 600 miles and I can't drive car like this. He rejected to do the service. On my way to San Diego I've stopped in Las Vegas tire shop and asked them to check ballance. The other shop owner showed me the difference in the balancing. You can see the pictures. I took only one picture from balancing machine before they have took out old lead. When I came back, I've stopped by again asking for refund of my $80 I paid in Las Vegas. The other guy told me that he has no key to the register and the owner is in Reno and there is nothing he can do. Please avoid this shop. I'll never ask them to do anything with my car. I do understand now why people driving over 40 miles to Lund to get good tire service. WOMEN AND CHILDREN DON'T GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF LIKE WE DID AT BIG 8 TIRE & AUTO/RVThe employee at this tire shop is guilty of treating women and children very poorly by intimidating them.I needed 1 tire, I had a 1 flat on the highway. This shop is the only one open on Saturday. The employee told me I needed 4 new tires. My car had 4 new tires put on before leaving for the trip. Which I had explained to him. We had driven 7 hours before the flat. My other tires were fine. He flat out refused to sell me 1 tire. He said he could order my existing type of tires (all 4 tires, of course) if I preferred. It would arrive around Wednesday (4 days later). He eventually agreed to sell 2 tires. So, I'm not sure how, now it's ok for 2 tires and not 4. But still NO to 1 tire. He installed 2 tires, and it turns out the tire model is 2 years old with the prices jacked up to a ridiculous $550+plus tax, plus fees to use a credit card. Plus,plus,plus!!!With my daughter and 3 grandkids all under 8 years old. I had no choice but to get the tires. My spare tire is a temporary one that can go only 50 mph. I had 7 hours left to reach my destination. It was really tough just getting to his shop, with all the big rigs going so fast on the highway. It wouldn't have been safe to continue on my spare, and boy, did this shop take advantage.But then all of a sudden, he'll accept $500.00 cash, taxes, and fees just go away? How can taxes and fees go away? Are they necessary in the first place? Does this business operate illegally? I certainly think it's possible. The employee exploited the entire situation. Taking advantage at every turn, and then he offers to "do me a favor" and drop taxes and fees.Employee description to watch out for:Tall white slender maleIn his 20sWith the initials K.a.What a shame, when the public has to trust in businesses that straight out rob you.

My wife's car blew a tire 140 miles from this shop and they were the only ones around with the right size. Ended up buying all 4 tires because their deal was so great. They had us back on the road 30 min after I showed up. Big 8 tire saved our trip, thank you guys!

I live in Washington State came to Las Vegas to visit family notice one of my tires was bald from the Corner outside on my BMW and I have low pro 20 inch tires . Those are special order at the big chain tires shops super lucky to find a pair here .. when I first called I felt good about this place there Customer service over the phone is superb .. not only did they give me a good deal on my tires there hospitality that they showed us and there service is on point .. I highly recommend this business to anyone passing by here like me or live around this area thanks I appreciate you guys

This shop was so unhelpful. I had a flat and just need one tire to replace the spare. They would only sell me a pair or a set at about $900. Ridiculous! Went to CMC tire down the street. This is a professional shop with a full service desk and crew. They helped me straight away. Thank you so much!!!

One of the best shops I have ever dealt with. For me owning my own automobile shop for many years. These guys remind me of my us when we started out. I would recommend this shop anyday. You will not go wrong. Keep on'a smile'n

We were on the road traveling and an issue came up so we googled and found Big a tire in Ely nevada. They took us right away explained everything to us and gave us confidence to get back on the road and continue our trip. Didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. Big thanks to Big 8 tire.

Great service, best place in Ely to get tires and anything else. The owner also believes in and investa in the community. They aren't a big city tire place, but they meet the needs of our community really well.

RV traveling, 2 states from home, when we noticed axle grease around our wheel rim. Contacted Daniel and he got us in the same day. Nothing major, he squared us away immediately, charged us nothing and got us back on the road with confidence.

When in early. Couldn't afford both tires at the time. He looked up prices. Was very knowledgeable. Took some time with me. Rotated one of my tires for free. I was thankful he did this because it was 15 degrees outside. Kaden was very nice.

I had a slow leak on a tire on the car I tow behind me RV. I went into Big 8 Tire and Trae got me in an out in just a few minutes (leaking valve). Professional, personable and did great job. Thanks so much for the help.

These guys are lifesavers!! I got to the shop 8 minutes before they closed with my 2 rear tires in terrible shape and they replaced them right on the spot! Super friendly, great fast service! I highly recommend Big 8 tire! I d give them 10 stars if I could!!

Really helped me out! Was on a business trip and started hearing a grinding noise from the front driver s side wheel well. Called multiple shops in town and no one would take a look at it same-day. Big 8 Tire agreed to help. Staff was really friendly and helpful. They removed the tire and found a rock stuck between the rotor and guard. Problem solved! Big 8 Tire s quick help allowed me to get back on the road and to keep my schedule.

Were willing to patch my tire when other shops just wanted to sell me new ones. I definitely needed them but didn't want to stop and wait for days at the moment...I just wanted my flat one patched so I would have a spare until I got to where I could get new ones. I needed it! I would have been stuck in the desert if not for them! The other shops were willing to let me get myself stuck in the desert to avoid liability. These guys are literally life savers. Thanks again!

Rip off artists. Winter, snow, blew a tire. They had 4 brand new. Nice tires. $600 but could only buy 2 or more. Rip the visitors to your town is name of the game. F u big 8. I will be sure to tell everyone I can about you.

They were the only tire store open on Saturday which was a great help to us with a flat tire on our RV. Got the tires in and on the rig same day. Good service and fair prices. I would recommend if you need tires.

Don't service here , this guys lie to me and I drove 3.5 hours to change 1 tire and when I got there they raised the price 2 times . Find better shops .

Going to give this place a 5 star.The guy met me at the car outside the store. I had a flat on my trailer 90 miles out from the store. I brought the flat out and told him it had a Tyron band on the tire. He had no clue about it. He did take it off after a while( never put them on your RV). He told me he had to sell at least two tires so I had him look at the other three and one had seperation starting. Glad he found it. Not sure about only being able to sell two or more tires but that is his Father's (owner) policy. The kid is only 15 and did a great job. So I can't complain.

We had a low inside tire on our dually. The last service person had positioned the outer tire such that we could not get to the air valve for the inside tire. We stopped at Big 8 on our way out of town and they dropped what they were doing, pulled the outer tire, filled both up with air and put the outer tire back on correctly in no time. I figured we would be waiting for at least an hour, but we were out of there in 20 minutes. Great folks Who know what they are doing!

These guys at Big 8 Tirehad us in and out with new trailer tires and adjusted our wheel bearing all within 20-30 minutes.Highly recommend this shop.

We blew a tire on our car hauler trailer..of course has a spare. Made it to Ely where we needed to purchase 2 tires and two rims, we were advised to go to a different tire store in town which we did. They only had one rim the size we needed. So my husband went to Big 8 and they charged him ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS more than the other store for one rim ! We had no choice but to pay the inflated price! Caution! Try the other places in town before you go to big 8!!

Awesome professionals and beyond fastfriendly and courteous service. Pulled into town late in the afternoon with unknown loud noise coming from the front end. Both gentlemen were busy but stopped and gave me immediate attention. Immediately diagnosed the issue and removed front tire to confirm their findings. Back on the road in less than 15 minutes after polite reassurance that all was safe. Thank you!

Go here! Quick and friendly. Turned out the screw in my tire didn't pierce anything so they topped of the air and don't charge me. Great people. Nearby places told me itd take an hour to be seen, but here was 5min

This family owned and operated business is one of the most amazing and incredible places to go, not only to get your tires changed but to have knowledgeable hard working individuals help and fight by your side when rental car companies don't want to help fix their blowouts on tires. The owner of this company went above and beyond to make sure that I was able to travel safely down the road as a single mother with one child out in the middle of nowhere in a rental I cannot begin to thank you all enough and I will definitely refer anybody that I know that is close by to that area to come and see you guys.

Very professional and helpful. Replaced an RV tire while on my way through Vegas. Do recommend them for sure.
