Went in for a 4-wheel alignment. They were extremely friendly and provided fast service. Car drives excellent after taking it to Gene at GTM. Will always take my BMW here when it needs it.

Hey Gene did a great job on our 2007 Avalanche. The wheal bearing needed to be replaced but they got it done even though they were very busy. And found the problem with the cruise control that nobody else could figure out.

I have paid for Gene' new residence in Hollywood, Ca...first with my Land Rover and now with my Volvo SUV; however I got even with him by selling his "loaner" Ford pickup truck while in Carson City! Gene is a great mechanic with the patients of Job.....and he keeps telling me if I buy a Maserati that he will take off his A List for a Christmas card.

Had a bit of a project truck (1990 GMC Sierra) which was no problem for GTM Auto Repair. I can t thank them enough for the time and dedication to my aging truck after 4 separate shops tried and failed to identify/correct its plethora of issues. Moral of the story? If you re looking for a mechanic who s more concerned with doing a good job then turning and burning its customers give GTM Auto Repair a call.

I had to bring in a 2009 Prius that was having issues. Before any work was done, I was called and talked to a technician who gave things it could be causing the problems. He was going to check the smallest battery first because the cables were loose, which wouldn't be that much to fix. Unfortunately, it was the big battery pack, which we had suspected, but I sure appreciated the call and the checking everything before just telling me it needed a new main battery pack. The service was excellent and the staff was helpful and friendly.Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic

Gene is an honest knowledgeable, mechanic, hard to find these days. (See my story below)My 2013 Cadillac XTS would not start, checked for spark, checked good. checked fuel level 1/4 on gauge, attached fuel pressure gauge to fuel rail, no pressure. added 5 gallons of fuel still no pressure. I suspected the fuel pump.It took several days to get it over to Gene at GTM/Sierra Nevada Hybrid because of heavy snow. Gene quoted me a little under $850 to drop the tank and change the pump, a reasonable charge for the job. Before he started changing the pump, Gene trouble shot my problem to a frozen fuel line, caused by excessive moisture in my fuel, he could have just installed the pump, and charged me the estimated price, but he cleared the frozen line, and got it running again, saving me $600, on the repair.I learned not to park in below freezing temperatures, without having an almost full tank.Gene is a trustworthy, knowledgeable, mechanic.I highly recommend his business; you won't be disappointed.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

SNH diagnosed and fixed my baby quickly office staff was a delight and our mechanic was so smart and helpful I hope to never need them again but if I do I'd never go anywhere else.

I live in Wv and my sons jeep was broke down in Nevada. They worked with me over the phone and e-mail to get him back on the road. Everyone I talked to was very professional. They was very busy but they still managed to get his jeep fixed fast. Excellent communication through out the entire process. Gene was a very professional and responsive mechanic. I got a hybrid battery put in my sons 2008 Honda civic. This is not a cheap fix and I had him do a full inspection before I decided to replace the battery. Gene gave me an honest inspection and after reviewing it I decided to go ahead and get the battery. Gene reconditioned our hybrid battery and replaced a cylinder head gasket. Gene warrants all his work. The price we paid was at least half the price of what we received in written quotes from two credible companies in the area. Gene is a very nice person and a true professional. I trust Gene. It's hard to find people that will service hybrids locally. Let alone do it with skill and precision on par with Michelangelo using marble to mold masterpieces. Gene was a fantastic help with my 09 Prius! Sierra Nevada Hybrid has amazing customer service. They replaced my Prius battery for 1/4 the cost that the dealership was going to charge me. Then a few months later I thought I was having an issue, and they came to my house in Reno to check the battery. The battery was fine and they did not even charge me for the trip. Thank you!

We are very satisfied with services from Sierra Nevada Hybrid! The mobile service was very affordable and so convenient. Our 2005 Toyota Prius hybrid battery needed to be replaced and since we spent $3000 to replace the ECU and auxilary battery six years ago, we were hesitant to pay the dealership another three to four thousand for a hybrid battery replacement for an aging car that is worth far less than that. We were thrilled to find that Sierra Nevada Hybrid could install a reconditioned battery for around $1000 including the diagnostic services to make sure that the battery actually needed replacement. The mechanic was knowledgable, professional and arrived on time. I highly recommend!

My 2008 hybrid car, which I own for years, broke down 250 miles away from my home. The first repair shop, after careful exam, concluded the transmission was bad, suggested we send the car to the dealer to fix it because only dealer knows the hybrid car best, So we did, ... then along with the "detail explanation" the dealer concluded the whole engine need to replaced and it is a $6800 job. For the very first time I regretted that I bought a hybrid. Then I spent some time, went on line, made a few phone calls to find Gene, the owner of Sierra Nevada Hybrid. I made a proud decision to ask Gene for a second opinion about replacing the engine.Well guess what ? Within a short period of time Gene found out the problem and fix my car completely, it has nothing to do with the engine or transmission, both the engine and transmission are perfectly fine.One more thing I would like to mention: The exam fee in Sierra Nevada Hybrid is the lowest among the three in my case.This is my true personal experience.Carl Hsieh(Cupertino, CA)
