Went in for a a check engine light and was told no by the front cashierThe guy then walked in and start talking to people in the back and he told me I can t leave the store because someone else has to be up here the front

They usually have the parts I need in a pinch and they always end up working better than parts I ordered on Amazon or eBay

I would give zero stars if I could. I have been buys parts from this location for 4 years. I spend a couple thousand dollors per year at this store. Today I went in to get oil change stuff my my truck, daughters truck and a few other things. I asked to use the restroom and was told it is not for cutomers. I refuse to spend my money in business that care so little about the clients they refuse to let them use the restroom. It's sad becasue I like the people there but the owners could not care less about their clients.

Not very good customer service not friendly and didn't want to let me return some radiator fluid I didn't have receipt but bottle was new you could tell plusit had there name on it I bought it in Dayton

Great service and friendly staff . I didn't have tools to replace a socket and bulb . Not only were the parts there . Staff replaced my nonfunctional parts and installed new ones . Even did a safety check to insure it functions properly . I appreciate the available parts and the friendly staff . Highly recommended for anyone who needs auto parts in Carson City , Nevada .

One of my favorite auto parts stores in town. People are always friendly, polite and helpful. They even readily step outside to help assess issues with your vehicle. Prices usually the best around and items well stocked. And clean restrooms, a rarity these days.

Awesome! Super nice people got us a hard to find part within 12 hours (by 7:30 a.m) and saved our road trip! They even lent us a couple tools we were missing to install it. So grateful! Thank you, thank you!

I love O'Reilly's Auto Parts. My home store is the best! Those guys will help me with everything. Carson City Nevada, the 'men' were nice, but they didn't even offer to help me. When I asked for help, they did the bear minimum. I had to ask again for something else and then I had to ask again, pardon me interrupting your conversation about steel-toed boots. In my town, they offer and they do it from beginning to end, boom boom done. As a woman I find that extremely thoughtful respectful and chivalry is not dead in Gridley California.

Ordered a part on line when I went to pick it up it was damaged. The girl that helped me just simply did a warranty swap reordered the part I came back the next day to pick it up. Painless. The store is neat, clean and organized. Friendly and professional employees.

There is a reason the "I know more than you" meme exists. I won't throw the employee under the bus but I literally just did everything but ring myself up. They kept pulling up the wrong part and would say "I know" every time I told him nothing on the screen was the right part. I then looked up the part number from autozone's website and gave it to him. He was then able to find it no problem!!! I know you guys probably don't pay much but I would like 1 hour or your starting pay please...

I went into the store to get windshield wipers and to get an electrical system done. Right away Clarissa helps me. She put on my wipers without me even asking. Then checked my electrical system and found out I needed a battery. I bought one and she replaced it without questions. Awesome customer service. She even cleaned my head lights without me even asking. She was exceptional in all ways of customer service. Hard to find great customer service now a days. Thanks for your help. It made my day!!

Stood at the counter for 10 minutes and nobody acknowledged my existence, so I went to another location that was very helpful. South Carson location is still the BEST.

The people here were EXTREMELY HELPFUL. Had a catastrophic failure in my car O ring broke on my fuel injector and it was dumping fuel all over the place and I was on a wild goose chase all over Carson City to find anybody that had even one rubber o-ring in stock and not a single place or person could find a little rubber O-ring. The people here knew exactly what to do found me the O-ring charges me a little over $4 for 4 O-rings and got my car back on the road and I got home safely. I am so extremely grateful for the amazing staff you have here. I would not have gotten home if it weren't for the extreme helpfulness of the staff. If you are looking for part come here. I can't convey how extremely thankful I am in this review. I'm not kidding I literally called and went to every single other O'Reilly and AutoZone in Carson City but these guys could help. 100% would recommend. 15/10

They are very fast and work with you to get you what you need. They seem to have a good inventory on just about everything. Every time I have went there, they have always had the parts I needed. Great all around store and they don't over charge you. Nine times out of ten they are the best deal in town.

A lot of these guys in here are really helpful and everyone is knowledgeable, but they do have the car mechanic gruff and oily personalities. So, over all great service, even if it's not 'Welcome to Costco, I love you.'

They are always helpful and they installed my wipers and headlights. But if your. Fender has to be removed to install lights they won't do it foe you.

They didn't have the filter I was looking for even though they said it was in their system. Thankfully Jennifer found an alternative. I guess it will have to work for now during this Storm that was coming in that she warned me about.

Jason and the staff at the O'Reilly's auto part store in Carson City, NV met the high standards of customer service I have come to associate with this franchise.Jason, a veteran military mechanical specialist, cheerfully shared his expert insight and advice with me. His assistance enabled me to correct a potentially trip ending problem and continue on my way. Without his guidance I might have incurred substantial and costly damage to my vehicle's engine.Please convey my appreciation to Jason.

I have been an O'Reilly Auto Parts customer for more than 15 years. Visiting Carson City and bought a snow chain (cable type $140) 2 days ago to go to south lake Tahoe. Only about 40 minutes drive in 5-20 mph, the left cable/chain broke, which shows there is a defective in the left chain because the right chain is in working order. I brought the set to this store to see if they can help me with anything, and here is where the ONE star came from:Me: "Explain the situation and that I will have to go back to my base in San Diego"Store female clerk: " Sorry, there is nothing I can do for you"Me: " Can I just buy the left chain because the right chain still working?"Store female clerk: " Nope, that is the store policy"Me: " Would you help me, if I show you that I am in service in the NAVY?" smiling hopefullyStore female clerk: "Nope, that is the store policy", turned away and said "Duhhh"This is happened on the day after Christmas 2021. Having been coming back from Sasebo JP base from a long TDY, I am shocked with the attitude of the female clerk individually, and Carson City O'Reilly auto part policy. I guess that is the "New" American society we are living in now.If you are thinking of going to Carson City, make sure you research into buying reliable snow chain because the O'Reilly snow cable, which cost $140, is a very subpar Chinese design. So sad to see my favorite O'Reilly parts and servicing declined to a cheap level of servicing China defective goods :(.

Ordered parts not coming in when they say. Ordered a part to be here yesterday, not here a day after, need to get my truck going so i can get to work and oreillys is making life. Harder. Shouldve stuck to autozone.

Prices are ridiculous! I went to get a battery. Didn't like the price. Found the same battery brand new for half the price. I look up a starter today. Same thing double the price. For the same exact part.

I love oreillys, much more helpful than autzone here locally, will order parts for you without payment.My biggest plus is they will price match summit racing internet prices, making it so you can get massive savings. I bought a pair of front brake rotors for 42$ when they would have cost me 110$Always helpful with returns and exchanges too. Has helped me keep my car running for years

My license plate was not coming off, and I needed it for the dmv - O'Reillys lent me a better screwdriver and now I'm back at the DMV! Shout-out to the two gentlemen working who didn't even think twice before helping a very panicked woman babbling about screws and a bad screwdriver in an auto parts store.
