Do you know what I like about Les Schwab tire center? I like the fact that it's a nationwide chain. The tires I buy from there I can get service for if I need them while I'm traveling. They have you come in for tire rotation at a regular basis. They do the rotation for free. Course. It's an opportunity for them too. Identify other work that may need to be done. In the case of my 2006 Forester it needed new rear struts and wheel alignment. I was pleased to have them take care of that for me. I like to keep the old baby in working order! Update, I was back 3 weeks later to replace struts. I arrived to pick it up after 5 pm. I used the restroom, it was clean and had clearly been cleaned up recently.

Another pleasant transaction. Went in for a hole in my tire, and was in and out in about thirty minutes. They didn't charge me, even though my current tires aren't theirs ( new car, just haven't bought new tires yet) and staff was friendly, helpful, and not pushy in any way. I appreciate it a lot when places like this don't try to up-sell. Will return, and look forward to gerring my next set of tires there.

I drive a propane truck and unfortunately got a inner dual flat. I expected to be waiting a while but an employee named Brandon got the problem fixed did it all himself . Very professional and fast. Thanks Brandon.

Just removed my winter rear wheels/tires to install new brake pads, wheels were installed by this shop last November. Ugh, one wheel was missing 1 of its 5 bolts, remaining 4 bolts were barely snugged- not properly torqued to 103 ft-lbs. Strongly advise you do inspection when you pick up your car-

As usual, they got us scheduled quickly, performed the necessary work, and kept me waiting a minimum amount of time. They were busy, but working people in. The new girl on the desk did a great job both with customer service and computer. Great visit.

Brought in a knuckle to have ball joints pressed in. Took them all of 15 min. They charged me $100 in labor. And we re non negotiable on price. As a former employee of the company the old man who started this company would be rolling over in his grave at how these franchises are being ran. I will be recommending anyone I know to go elsewhere. Awful job les Schwab north Carson.

I did not even want to leave 1 star but in order to post this NEGATIVE review I had to leave at least 1 star. We called to get a quote on changing out my summer tires for my winter tires and were quoted $92. After work my husband loaded my winter tires in my car and drove the 1/2 hour to this location where I met him. We walked in and although there was a young lady standing at one of the registers she didn't even acknowledge us. I asked if she was ready for us and she said yes. We told her we were there to exchange my tires out, she started putting us in the system and then quoted us $200. I told her we had called the day before and was quoted $92. The older lady there said "I was the one who quoted you the $92 but I failed to ask if you were and existing customer.....my bad..." I told her that wasn't right and why wouldn't she have asked over the phone if we were existing customers so that we wouldn't have wasted our time loading tires in the car and driving all the way down there, her response was "well we get hectic and busy here so yah.....that was my bad, so sorry". The tone of her voice let me know that she really was not sorry that she wasted our time nor did she care. Mike the manager was standing right there as all this was going on and did not say one word about her behavior. I understand that businesses are understaffed etc but there still needs to be some sort of accountability for poor customer service. I will never go back to any Les Schwab after this experience and will be sure to let all my friends know to never go there. There are plenty of other tire/service centers in Carson City who deserve the business that we as customers provide.

This location is by far the best choice for troubleshooting and getting an issue fixed. We had returned my wife's car to our regular spot in South Reno 3 times and they kept saying nothing was wrong with the tire and insisted it was the weather making it lose air. I drove her car to Carson to a project I was working on and stopped by afterwards. I had to wait as I walked in and there was a full room of people waiting but they put their best guy on it and come to find out, the stem was bad and leaking air slowly. He replaced it and we haven't had an issue since. I love dealing with this location and my regular spot on S Virgina St just north of s meadows because they always make my interactions and purchases worth my time and I feel like I am a valued customer. I've been using Les Schwab since we moved up to Northern Nevada in 2002, wow! that's 21 years now.

I've used this location for years for with multiple vehicles. Staff is always helpful and courteous. Work has been done in a timely manner, especially if you arrive at opening hours.Recently had a hole in my car tire that was in an awkward position to fix myself. I arrived early in the morning, Les Schwabb repaired the hole and had my car ready in about 30 minutes from the time I left at no cost.

These guys are just awesome - a very overused word, but applicable here. I've had terrific advice when buying wheels and tires and other topics over several years, never a bad experience of any type. And free rotation.

I came in last minute yesterday with a flat tire, and these guys took my car right in and were able to replace all 4 tires in an hour! The woman at the front desk was super friendly and personable, which made me feel so much more comfortable since I was already having a stressful day. All the techs are awesome and I am so grateful for these guys, thank you!

Fast, super-courteous, honest, and knowledgeable, and saved me $3,000!I've trusted Les Schwab with my cars for over 20 years and yesterday they came through again, like real champs.I'd gone to another place in town for an oil change and safety check. The other place told me I needed almost $3,000 in work and one of my expensive off-road tires replaced because of a nail in the side. The tire was from Les Schwab so I decided to go to them and have them check the recommended work at the same time. Turns out the nail hadn't pierced the tire which didn't need to be replaced at all (no leak).The Les Schwab technicians also checked checked the car for the recommended work and found out that it did not need ANY of what was recommended by the other shop.Also, Les Schwab managed to fit me in without an appointment and took only 30 minutes to get me in. They were super conscientious about how long it was taking to get me in and showed tip-top customer service.Les Schwab saved me $3,000 yesterday and did it with style. Thank you!

I went in there to get my car to get another opinion. On the phone the gentleman told me I could do 90 days same as cash they had already started my car then they said I didn't qualify for 90 day deal I just Saud great my car is done then they said they out le on a regular retail card and asked me for 250 dollars I was totally angry and gave them 200 and then now I'm charged interest they were all about just doing my break job for 675 which I paid for my front brakes 5 months later my bake brakes needed done hummm when they were fine 5 months

I had a nail in my tire and went to Les Schwab for the repair. I was traveling through the area and I had to reach my destination in time. Although their shop was fully busy, they accommodated my repair in short time and got the car fixed. Super friendly staff and great service.

Just wanted to thank the wonderful staff at Les Schwab in North Carson City. I came in with a flat tire without an appointment and was on my way with a fixed tire after 30 minutes. It was much appreciated. I was fully expecting to pay for it and was pleasantly surprised when I was informed that there was no charge. What a great business, Thank You Les Schwab!!!

I dropped off 4 new tires and 4 new wheels still in the boxes. Was told it would cost 35 dollars to mount them, no balance. Sounds great. Counter guy helps me unload them and I go on my way. Immediately after leaving he calls me to tell me that they're aftermarket wheels and that the price will actually be 110 dollars. First off he literally helped me unload the wheels and didn't say a single thing. Second off, after market versus stock wheels don't make a difference. He told me it was "risk versus reward" .. in other words, he told me they don't treat your vehicle with respect unless you pay for it. I've done tires my whole life, there's no reason for this. Sadly though, I don't have a tire machine anymore. Lastly, the simplest thing in the world .. they couldn't even line up the orange dots with the valve stems. They're there for a reason. I understand I didn't buy tires from them and I don't expect to be prioritized because of that but some half way decent service with people who know what they're doing would still be nice Will not be returning or recommending to anyone.

This is the best place in the world, literally. Over the years they've always made time for little things like repairing a tire, yet they're also the only place around with the expertise & equipment to align, mount, and balance huge truck tires on my seriously lifted truck. No matter what I drive, I can trust them to know what's best, to be honest, and treat me with kindness. Really nice to be greeted with a smile when you feel deflated (pun intended) after realizing you've got a nail in your tire & it threw a wrench into your day (also intended, but true! ). It's soooo worth buying your tires here instead of the big box stores you can't even get to answer the phone or have to wait 4 hours for a tire repair (experience every time I've bought from the big stores for a little discount). A road hazard warranty is only as good as the company issuing it, the value is in the peace of mind knowing they'll have your back when you need it most. THANK YOU LES SCHWAB!!!!

Well I guess the days of the Les Schwab guy coming out to greet the customer and welcome him in are over. Now it's thanks for coming in and you need work on your car or why don't you just buy new tires. Went in for a rotation on my 2 year old 24k tires that I bought at the store and to fix a slow leak in one tire. Before I got back home, a got a call saying my tires that I bought there 2 years ago weren't worth rotating. When I bought them at the store 2 years ago they were suppose to be good 50k tires (did I mention they only had 24k on them), Upon my own inspection there was still some mileage left on those tires. As far as the slow leak, they couldn't find it. I have my doubts about how hard they tried. I've had to add air twice in the last month to that tire, so there is something going on. Maybe a good tire store might find it. This is not the first time they've tried to sell me something I didn't really need. Well there are plenty of tire stores in town, its time to find another.Updated 12/27/2022I'm replying to their reply. First of all my name isn't Matt. I don't know where that came from. Please correct your reply. And are you going to address the recommendation to replace my 24k tires I bought there. Or is that just SOP

Les Schwab is an absolutely amazing company & as a result I ve had experience with them for about 15 years in multiple states and a whole lot of cities. THIS location is THE BEST. The entire staff deserves all of the kudos. The front desk people, supervisors and attendants are all knowledgeable and exhibit some of the best customer service I ve ever witnessed. I appreciate their thoroughness and recommendations as I navigate options. I definitely recommend this Les Schwab location to anyone that is looking for an honest place to park.Thanks!

Called Les Schwab Customer Service to report a dealer at Port Angeles, Washington. Explain to a customer service the situation at this dealer put an unsafe vehicle back on the road without my knowledge. Brakes was serviced, 12 non-usable bolts were reused to complete brake job. Customer Service said they could do nothing unless I was Injured or the Vehicle was Damaged. Very sad State of Affair for this Corporation. I would not trust dealership in Port Angeles Washington.

The team at the Les Schwab in North Carson is great. I ve always had a good experience and they give great advice any time I have a problem or question. I take both my vehicles to them and they ve helped me upgrade my Jeep over the years. They get busy of course but if you re kind and patient you ll always be taken care of here.

My girlfriend went to get an alignment fix and the told her they can t fix it without replacing a wheel bearing then they said it was going to be 240 and when she went to pick up her car it was 275 then they said her gearbox was messed up and that she should get it fixed when didn t fully put it in park or put the parking break up (mind u there lot is on a slope) then the also told her they can t get her key out which is do to the fact that the car wasn t in park idk what s going on or if there having a bad day but it s wild there trying to create all these new and out of pocket problems cause it s a chick going to get her car fixed shame les Schwab shame

I brought my truck in to have the brakes checked because they didn't feel like they weren't working properly. After Greg checked the brakes and took it for a spin, he called me and said it had to do with the ABS, vacuum something another but it's fine and brakes are good for about another 5,000 miles. Went pick up the truck and they didn't charge me. These guys are really definitely our go to place. Honesty goes a long way.
