Our experience with Penner s was exceptionally good! We had a flat at the York exit & they aired us up to get into town. Service was fast & friendly, price was reasonable, waiting area was clean & comfortable. We were so thankful to get back on the road quickly!

The guys here are great!! I was in the process of driving from Utah to Illinois in my 95 K/C 1500 pickup (fully packed as much as was possible) and my fuel pump went sour on me. They gave me the price and the wait time. They allowed me to go grab a blanket to make the wife more comfortable while she slept on their couch (a frickin couch dude like that in itself is just awesome) and when all was said and done we were able to hit the road like nothing happened

We blew a tire on the interstate on our way home from NE to TX. We were lucky to be only a few short miles from Penner s. They got us in immediately and switched out our spare for a new tire and we got back on the road very quickly! Everyone was so nice and helpful. The shop is unique and well kept and thank god for the coffee bar

Took my suv in for an alignment and was told that too many of my components were worn that they couldn t even attempt the alignment. It had drove fine (besides the alignment) and didn t experience any of the death wobble issues they mentioned. They said it needed $2200 worth of work - 25% of my cars value!!! Didn t seem right so I took it to get a second opinion. They checked it out and only found that my ball joints on one side had some minor play in them. (Which Penner s didn t even put on the quote) then they aligned it just fine. Wasted my $50 in a diagnostic fee from penners as well as my time dropping and picking up my vehicle. Others have shared a similar story to mine with me since this experience. Do not recommend!!!

Had a bad tire driving across the state. They diagnosed the problem and put on two new tires with no appointment. They got me rolling again quickly. Great service and very low prices. Great value.

Our family was driving across the state to go to Colorado and we were having what we thought was a balance issue with our tires. Fearing we would have to endure a vibrating truck for the next 6 hours, we called Penner's as we were driving near York and they got us in immediately! Not only did they diagnose the issue quickly, but they realized it was simply snow packed tires. After a quick fix, great conversation and a $20 payment, we were back on the road! An unethical shop could have easily said we had a bigger issue and charged us many multiples what we paid, but they were happy to provide this simple fix of cleaning our frozen tires after the snow storm we had yesterday. The staff was incredibly nice and service was superb. We couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you, Penner's! We are going to ponder on that van you're selling, too!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Had a friend who had a flat tire near Waco and called me for help since I was from the area. Called Charlie and he was able to send out a crew to help in very little time. Thankful for hometown relationships and service.

The staff went above and beyond in assisting with a flat tire that I had the Saturday morning. They stayed opened so I could get my car in the shop and have the screw removed from my tire. The repair job was excellent and I made the drive home the next day with no problems. Thank you again for the excellent service.

This place is AMAZING!! I would recommend it to anyone! I got a flat and they got me in super quickly and the price was way cheaper than I predicted! Super helpful and knowledgeable!! 10 out of 10!

Penner has been awesome every time I've needed something!! They take really good care of my car. They did great work with my brakes - I was a hard brake from disaster (not much left on the discs) - but with new brakes - I couldn't be happier! Our vehicle broke down passing through on the interstate and we needed emergency service. Two other shops in town refused to help us on short notice, but Penner's graciously helped us out. We ended up with a flat on I-80 at 6:30 am on a Saturday. Penner s opened at 7am so we arrived right after that. They were quick to help us, mount & balance 2 tires and send us on our way! The staff here were so friendly and clearly incredibly knowledgeable. I was having some tire issues on a cross country road trip and they did some quick work to make sure I could continue my trip safely.

Son broke down outside of york. Penner's towed him back to the shop diagnosed, and replaced the alternator and had him back on road to Wyoming! Thank you for helping a college student out! Veteran's discount was an added bonus - SemperFi!

Great staff who work hard to make sure they met my needs. I felt welcomed and appreciated as a customer. They went above and beyond to make sure I was able to have my car running by the end of the day, between fitting me in the schedule to dealing with a defective part, they were committed to ensuring I was taken care of. Would recommend.

Amazing. My Suv Drives better . They are pretty pricey but definitely not complaining. They are worth every penny. Super Happy Employees there. Thanks y'all I most definitely will be coming back for everything I need done.

Talk with a service manager about the price of 4 new tires on a Saturday, and went back on a Monday morning and got a different service manager but got the deal I had made on Saturday. I was very pleased with the results

We were traveling on I-80 and got a huge screw in the sidewall of one of our travel trailer tires. I called the shop and was told they had a replacement of the correct size. They replaced the tire as soon as I arrived. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. They saved us a great deal of hassle. York is lucky to have a quality shop like this in town. Go see them! They will take great care of you!

Great work, got us right in and reasonably priced. One major mess up, we live over an hour away, paid over phone and was to pick up vehicle in the evening. They were supposed to leave keys under floorboard and lock the car. We got there used phone app to unlock the car only to find no keys in the car. Thank goodness for cleaning lady that let us in the door to get the keys after 7:00 p.m.

I was traveling from Minnesota to Colorado and noticed one of my wheels was out of balance, jiggling around quite a bit at certain speeds. I stopped in at Penner's Tire Pros and asked if they could quickly do a re-balance so I could get on my way without much delay. They worked me in right away, I was on my way in about a half hour. The wheel no longer jiggled! I really appreciated the fast service and the great job they did!Service: Tires

Very happy with their service. They we are very friendly. Jose was the mechanic and he was awesome. He explained a lot of things and really did a great job. Price was a bit in the higher than expected but it was worth. I have no problem paying for quality work

Amazing Company.. we lost a set of our rear dually on the side of the highway. We do hotshot trucking so tonus time is money... We always have a place to be by a certain time, this time that place happened to be home.... And they did everything in their power to make sure that we got back on the road... 2 wheels they had to drive an hour to get, new rotor, new tire, new studs, not to mention time and diagnostics....We were out in 5 hours not to mention that 45 minutes of that was past their closing time.....Thank you guys..... We appreciate you!!!!

These guys are pro. Staff is very friendly. They got me in put a nice tire on at a great price. Also Penner has a nice selection of very cool vintage cars and trucks!!! Wish I had more time to visit. Thanks again guys you rock!!! O ya there shop is equipped to store many vehicles. Very classy looking lobby. Nice pic of the late Dave Thomas from Wendy's on wall.
