It is a great place in a very small town. The food is wonderful, and the prices are excellent. Best fried chicken in the state! There today, the service and food were excellent. Revisited today, and nothing is changed, other than I hear there was a change in ownership. I hope this doesn't mean drastic adjustments to the menu or service.

Food - Solid food. I had the mushroom Swiss burger with some onion chips and cheeseballs. Burger was done nicely and burger and shrooms had a nice flat iron grill taste. The taste that only comes with years of seasoning of the grill. Onion chips were a nice touch. Cheeseballs were decent, but didn't have that gooey melty cheese if you are looking for that texture.Atmosphere - what a great small town bar and grill. The place is very large and has some of the coolest decor around. Very comfortable, easy to space out if needed and a relaxing place to have lunch or dinner.Staff was very pleasant and food arrived quickly.

Good food, great service. Went over lunch hour and they were slammed. Took a moment for someone to come over but after that service was great. Checked on a few times throughout my lunch.

Walked in and wasn t greeted by anyone. I drive a semi truck and am not from here and feel as if it s just a small town establishment and they only care about their people. No one asked if I wanted to eat nor acknowledged I was standing there. Food did smell good but that s a shame. Has a strong small town if your not from here kinda vibe. Just my opinion

Recommend stopping in for Double Burger and onion rings for lunch or dinner!Valarie was awesome!We will be back every chance we get while loading at Michael's Foods My husband was napping but he loved what I saved for him

Stopped in here today when we went to Wakefield as part of the Ne great Park pursuit. First of all that ballpark and swimming area the city has is beautiful. Would be a great area for a picnic if passing thru. But back to the restaurant.....we were going to get takeout with all the Covid stuff but upon entering we saw would have no trouble social distancing. The owner was so nice and welcoming and we felt very comfortable in there. We all ordered cheeseburgers and got sides of fries and onion rings. That burger was the best burger I have had in years. Perfectly seasoned and the beautiful taste of the flattop. Rings and crinkle fries were great and the beer was ice cold. If you ever get that way, stop in!

2nd time we stopped after a Wayne State Volleyball game and we had great service with great prices. It also serves as a coffee place (2 old ladies may be adding more to their coffee ! They don't serve food until 5 but a cool little bar to stop at!

I love the hometown atmosphere! The pizza is my favourite, but nothing on the menu is bad! The drinks are very reasonable and the owners are always trying to make sure you get the best service!

Excellent food and great customer service, I will most definitely be going back. The environment was nice too, fits the people and the area...they make you feel welcome here.

My dearest aunt showed me this place 2yrs ago. Nebraska's best kept secret...salads r heart, and the mushroom n swiss burger is second to none.

I really like this place, the food is delicious, the staff is always friendly, and it's in a cool building with lots of neat stuff on the walls. I really like checking out all the old licence plates.

Everyone needs to try the burger in this placeI have travel all over the state tried all kind of burger they have the best burger. I love it and it s worth the money :)
