I had a high pressure fuel pump go out recently. The parts were not in stock and needed to be ordered. Took 9 days. They charged me almost 7.00 a gallon for the fuel needed to start and prime truck, 40 gallons. After I left I realized they didn t put my passenger side fuel tank back on properly and it s not aligned with the body cut out. I now need to go back to a different freightliner to have fuel tank remounted.

Many years ago I have had turbo on my truck replaced at this place. It was great experience. They got the part shipped overnight and I was on the road next morning. Surely appreciated that.

A coolant leak brought me here, and the excellent service brought me back. The leak was diagnosed quickly and a temporary repair was made that allowed me to get back on the road and keep my schedule. Now, I'm back here having my aging APU system re-plumbed, along with some other maintenance items. I have the greatest confidence in Derick, a highly-skilled technician, and the dealership in general. Fast, friendly service at a fair price. Highly recommended.Follow-up: Received a text from Tye, the shop manager, later in the evening asking if everything worked fine on the trip home. Another thumbs up Update a year later: I m still a big fan of this excellent shop. I limped my truck to the dealership the day a blizzard was forecast to begin at noon. Businesses in town, including Floyd s, were anticipating closing early so that their employees could get home safely. The truck was evaluated promptly and the parts were in stock. Aaron, Sam and Ashley stayed until my truck was fixed. I was back on the road while it was still safe to travel and my load remained on-schedule. They truly care about their customers.

Always great service and they actually know their parts. Know what your talking about vs the deer in the headlights look! Will have them do an overhead soon and see how that goes

I am usually a little Leary when it comes to Freightliner Dealerships, but Floyd s Truck center provided me an excellent experience. Trevor, one of the mechanics, proved to be a very knowledgeable mechanic. He immediately identified the issue, and executed the solution. This mechanic was not like the usuals I tend to run into. He was very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. I even tried to give him a tip, and he refused smiling and said I m just doing my job . Wow! Integrity is at this dealership! The price for repair ended up being over $100 under the quote. The pretty lady at the front desk was very kind and professional as well.

Horrible customer service here! Sat all day waiting and miraculously when it was time for them to all go home. They knew everything and they just finished all 6 trucks at same time! Was told can't sleep in truck because they ordered a part and they didn't trust me not to leave. Was walked to my truck and allowed to get items out of it but under super vision of 3 employees and then they kicked out all the drivers out and left. If you don't have to stop here don't go to cheyenne. The response from owner is exactly how you are treated here. They do no wrong and everything right drivers make up lies on them. Sad and pathetic all 6 of the drivers were kicked out at at close. While staff walked to their cars.

Some places go out of their way for customer service and shine through, and this team spirit is passed on to its customers. And others try but fail, only wanting to watch the clock to go home. Good luck Floyd's l will not be a return customer, your survival depends on Hwy 80 and the misfortunes of it's drivers unlucky enough to be caught in your Webb. Special thanks to Marc please keep this man he's a shining light .

If I could give negative stars I would. Avoid if you have any major repairs. Only good things I can stay is there clean and organized. I took my truck there for DPF problems they replaced my whole DPF system. After I left I had new and same problems with my truck that I never had before. Costing me an additional $5000 on top of the $7000 they charged me. After going to a different service center for repairs on same issues Floyd's should have fix. I was told clamps, bolts and my DPF filters were not changed. I call Floyd's with photo evidence. They denied the evidence and would not cover the repairs under warranty.

Had my Truck serviced and also had a repair done there. They were quick and efficient. The only real issue I had was lack of communication. All in all that was a small issue. Great service and nice staff.

What a disappointment! Didn't do a road test to discover that our problem was the fuel filter header. Oh the fuel filter, I believe, was replaced along with our batteries by your shop. The work was done without checking with us first. Sat for 4 days and we almost lost our load. Do not recommend this chain to anyone.

I went to Floyd s because my fuel pump was leaking fuel when I first started it up in the morning and the truck was very hard to start. they had a tech check it out for $328.00 2 hrs later and gave me a parts list needed to fix it. I was loaded and could not wait around for them to do the repair. They had to order the parts. I stopped in Omaha and bought all the parts I needed to complete the repair. I had a technician back at the terminal install all the parts, then to find out I didn t need any of those parts the tech said I needed and my fuel pump was still leaking fuel. After a second inspection the technician it was leaking from back side of a gasket on the fuel pump itself, The technician even showed me exactly where was leaking from. It s kind of funny how all the drivers in the lounge had nothing good to say about this place and their ability to correctly repair or pretty much do anything a honest shop would do for a driver the shop was just there to make money. They wanted over $1,100.00 to complete the work at Floyd sNOT GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE EVER!!!

Fast friendly service. There office staff will make you feel at home. And there techs will take care of any problems you might have in a great time frame. The freightliner dealership in sparks told me it would take at least four days of down time to fix. Floyd's fixed my truck in 2 hours. Thank you

I thought the place was great. Friendly and helpful. They didn't have the part, but they checked ahead on the computer and found a store in Fargo that had it. Old fashioned service and pretty fair prices.

The staff was friendly, they got me in sooner than i could hope for. They let me know as soon as they had the problem diagnosed, ordered the parts was in next morning and a couple of hours later i was on my way. Even though i wasnt paying the bill i didn't think it was that expensive. Once again thank you to the people of Floyds truck center.

It's never a good feeling to breakdown. But, if you must: hope it happens in Sidney, Nebraska. Got towed in by John who was super fast and efficient. The staff were excellent and even drove us to lunch at Margarita's. Margarita's was great too. The truck was up and running in less than 24 hours, and Floyd's friendly and fast service made a bad situation a good day anyway.

Recently one of our company trucks passing through Nebraska had a mechanical issue. Floyd's Truck Center was there when we needed them. They were quick to respond and provided us with reliable service at reasonable rates. They were extremely polite and accommodating to us and they helped us out with other issues not related to our breakdown. It was refreshing to know that there are good people doing an honest days work that trucks can depend on. I highly recommend Floyd's Truck Center to both local trucks and those passing through. Floyd's your the best. Thank You,MILG Transport, Waynesboro, VA

No one likes being broke down. But if you're broke down near Sidney, NE, Floyd's would be a good shop to call to get you rolling on your way. The staff is friendly. And they have a driver lounge you can relax in until 5 pm. If you ask nicely, they might even give you a ball cap. I just wish they had a shower for drivers.

The people here are friendly and helpfull. Had a 12.7 Detroit in framed here. The only reason I rated 4 stars is because the job wasn't done right and the inconvenience. After picking the truck up and going down the road, I had to stop at another shop and had it fixed. Floyd backed their job and footed the bill for the fix without hesitation. 10 out of 10 for that.

This is a good company. I have only been a few times to thier different locations. One thing is consistent is the customer service. They didn't have the parts in stock that I needed, but helped me find them elsewhere and wrote down all the part numbers. Small thing but it makes it great customer service and a dedicated customer.

What a bunch of thieves! Had a slipping clutch. They charged me $3400 for a clutch etc. 2 months later exactly the same. Had it fixed in MS for $286. The blow by pipe was destroyed. It was 9" long. It was blowing oil into the bell housing. Only a complete incompetent could have missed it!! They basically stole $3400. Legally. They are not to be trusted, do yourself a favor and avoid them if at all possible. BEWARE !!

Great place . Friendly people and highly professional service. I had my weel seal replaced here at no time. Prices are better then over places. Something happens on the road - that should be your first location to choose.

Had my truck towed in because of no oil pressure. They checked to see if sensor was bad but it was ok. The tech then turned off the fuel and loaded up the cylinders with air and kept turning the engine over until it locked up with spun bearings. The tech then pulled the oil pan and found that the intake tube for the oil pump had broken. They said it would cost $46,000+ to replace the engine. I had to scrap the truck and lost about $20,000 in lost revenue. After talking to other techs in other dealerships they all agreed that after testing the sensor the oil pan should have been pulled to check for the problem and some bearing caps pull to see if any bears had spun. In other words the Sidney shop destroyed the engine. There was a good chance it could have been repaired without replacing the engine.

I don't understand all of the negative reviews, costumer service wasn't bad and they were able to get the part for my 2006 freightliner and have it fixed within 2 days, would definitely recommend.

Judging by all the people on here thier reviews are the reason why I'm here. I have no heat in the truck cause the Apu alternator went out all I need is the idle program off. Being forced to sleep in a truck 17 degrees outside is horrendous dear God I hope for a miracle.... I was hoping to write another review but I guess I'm going to have to add it to my original one my issue with the APU has been resolved they turned off my idle so I can have heat these people here or totally awesome these people Rock.. I was so freaking happy I even hugged the service lady and the mechanic who took care of my truck my truck is like my baby you guys rock thank you
