What an memorable experience! We came up as a family to support my husband s hunting endeavor. We had such a wonderful time. The lodge itself is beautiful and the service there is top notch. The water from the faucets and the shower were all from the springs and I could really tell the difference. Roxanne s cooking really felt like home. She had a pretty good wine selection that paired well with her meals. We came to the lodge during the winter. We do plan to return and check it out during one of our summers.

A beautiful place, wonderful landscapes, cozy lodge! Owners were extremely hospitable and kind. After our morning coffee and breakfast we had a buffalo tour that will forever be one of our favorite memories. A little out of the way but so worth it. Thanks for everything Mitch and Roxanne.

We spent several days at Comstock Premier Lodge. We're not hunters but had a marvelous time anyway. We went during the off-hunting season and had the lodge practically to ourselves. One other family was there for one night. The lodge and country surrounding it are beautiful. Our room was lovely and comfortable. Emily, our hostess, was not only friendly, but a fantastic cook as well. She knew the area and made recommendations of places to visit. We'll definitely visit again and spread the word about this wonderful gem in the middle of Nebraska.

The lodge is beautiful and clean. The views are so amazing! The owner Roxanne was very nice but the manager Emily was snarky on the phone and the whole time we were there. She mixed up our room before the event and then blamed it on someone else, even though I knew she had all the information (event planner told me as did Emily herself) she needed from the person whose event we were attending. She didn't let us know what to expect from her as far as the operations of the lodge and then was short and snarky when we didn't know we were allowed in the kitchen to grab our breakfast. It was a bit pricey for the area which would be totally understandable if the service matched the views. Kind of disappointed because we spent good money to stay there.

Just returned from a pheasant hunt at Comstock Lodge and had a great experience. The setting in the foothills of the Sand Hills is beautiful; the facility and accommodations are excellent; the food is wonderful; and the personal service and interest shown to us exceeded expectations. In short, we had a wonderful time, shot a lot of birds and are making plans to return next year.

We had a fabulous weekend with family at Comstock Premier Lodge! There were over 30 of us. Emily greeted us and gave tour of the lodge and was a real sweet heart as were the owners Roxanne and Mitch! Plenty of room and was so relaxing sitting on the deck and relaxing by fire pit at night. We highly recommend it! Thank you Roxanne, Mitch and Emily!

I am of the mind that if you did not find the lodge and its customer service worthy of at least a "4", you may need to look in the mirror! We took a short one night getaway to the Comstock Premier Lodge and found it to be such a wonderful adventure! Emily was the greatest! She gave us great service, was so knowledgeable about the lodge, it's history, the grounds and wildlife....we felt pampered and seemed to be the center of her attention and care! We definitely hope to come back and bring friends!

First class and we have only been here a few hours. This is a hunting lodge but is also open to the public as a bed and breakfast. Facilities and lodging are top notch. Dogs, Izzy and Deuce are a blast to play with. Deuce is rather rambunctious but never the less, a great dog. We talked to Emily and gave our arrival time as we were coming from Casper, Wyoming. She met us, gave us the tour and welcomed us as if we were family. She is an asset, a rather strong one, to your business! We will definitely come back if ever in the area! Wish I could give more stars!

This place is wonderful! A great weekend getaway overlooking beautiful scenic central Nebraska. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Take the full 3,000 acre tour to see bison and horned sheep, definitely worth the time. Mitch, Roxanne and Emily are gracious hosts!

We stayed here as a family and loved the beautiful lodge. The serene surroundings are gorgeous and we enjoyed visiting together and watching the sunset. The rooms itself were great and clean. The customer service is the reason for the 3-Star review which honestly given how poor the service was, the 3 stars seems generous. The manager made complaints throughout the time we were there. She complained about the owners saying how much better it was that they ve moved out now. She stated she preferred to have hunters stay instead of people like us just traveling. She told us, new people staying there, how much easier it was with regulars. She complained about how we drank hot chocolate which was readily available despite telling us to make ourselves at home the night before. She stated with complete annoyance to one guest well I guess you guys made yourselves at home. She complained when someone did not make coffee the way she had instructed. She complained about peoples portion sizes at breakfast, etc. In front of an entire room of guests, she berated one guest saying oh wow I guess I ll have to make more food as the guest dished food out. These exasperated, annoyed statements continued as guests went through the line dishing out their food. She was even heard complaining about a guest to other guests in the lodge. I ve never stayed somewhere where the person in charge of hospitality showed such disinterest and even kind of exhaustion in providing hospitality for guests. Also I rarely ever make reviews and hate to make a negative one at all. She was very friendly when we arrived and sometimes people have bad days which is understandable. However it s hard to get regulars when new guests are treated so poorly.

The Lodge was spacious, comfortable and welcoming. The owners were very friendly and helpful, making the stay excellent. While I wasn't there for hunting, bison and elk hunting are available, and Comstock offers some excellent hunting opportunities. Very worth checking out.

Beautiful place, but felt like I had to walk on egg shells with my kids. I was also confused about having to take out the trash at the end of the visit. Maybe I am not accustomed to how a B&B works, but i assume paying $150 a night would not require taking out the trash at the end of my visit. It was a beautiful place though.

Safari was excilent, lodge was 1st class. Emily & Rox were very hospitable! Warning don't play with hunting dogs unless u are prepared to be mauled.. I think he means well but is dangerous when he starts playing, one of us got knocked to the ground and I felt like a dumby they train police dogs on.
