I stayed at the Hilltop Motel when my vehicle unexpectedly broke downOn my way to Denver , About 10 miles south of Crawford.I was stranded in Crawford overnight and part of the next day waiting for parts and repair. My room at the hilltop was Qwaint, very clean and well-stocked. The staff was wonderful! I was given a ride to the drive-in for something to eat in the evening and also given a tour of the beautiful local park. What looked like it was going to be a bad experience turned into a lovely restful experience.

Old but clean rooms. Thin walls; customers were put in adjacent rooms and you can hear a lot of what happens in the other room.Still, they kept their bathrooms well-appointed and the manager's friendly.Great, scenic spot for a motel with easy access to downtown Crawford.

- What a great little place!- The rooms were up to date and meticulously clean!- Spent some time chatting with Carl, the owner, and his family and found them, the motel, and the whole experience to be delightful.- We spent 3 nights in room 10 which had new laminate floors, fresh paint, up to date furniture and appointments, and the bathroom was very clean and modern.- Three nights with tax was $260, for 2 people with two double beds.- We'll be back!

Upon arrival I was greeted by the owners Carl and Jenny. They were extremely friendly and welcoming. They indicated they had recently purchased this Motel and we're putting a lot of work into it. The rooms were extremely clean. There was new bedding and an extremely comfortable mattress. The bathrooms are very clean. Each room has a refrigerator and microwave and parking was directly outside your door. This hotel has a definite 1950s charm to it with its owners paying great detail to quality and comfort. If you needed anything they were very happy to accommodate . As I was getting something from my car the owner Carl came out and chatted me up for a while and this was very reassuring is something missing from your large scale lodging places. I would never hesitate to come back for the comfort and scenery of a sunrise or sunset.

This is a very basic Motel. Not a lot of fancy Frills, such as continental breakfast or coffee maker in the room. I always rate motels on the quality of sleep, and I got an excellent night sleep here. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. For the price is all you'll need, a quiet Motel with a comfortable bed to get a good night's sleep. The owner and his wife are fantastic, very nice people.

Great value for money. This place is under brand new management and all I can say is that the new owner / operators are fantastic. Curious, accommodating, helpful, interested, and interesting. I'm on a cross country cycle trip and decided to treat myself to a motel for the night. I'm glad I chose this place. The rooms are a bit dated, but they are clean and for ~50 a night they are well worth the money. Highly recommend.

The owners are great people! Highly recommend this place. Was unable to visit Crawford due to an extenuating circumstance, and the owners we really easy to talk with regarding cancellation.Thanks a gain for y all s help, and we will stay here in the future.

Quiet, clean rooms, but could use a small table in the room (had to set up laptop on nightstand), an extra chair (I had to sit on bed while hubby got only chair) & more plug outlets. (Had to unplug bedside light to accommodate our laptop.) The owner is very nice. Convenient to Fort Robinson (3 miles away).

This is a great motel in Crawford NE right on highway 20. The rooms are really nice, and the beds are very comfortable. I slept 2 great nights very well.The owners are super nice, and are willing to make sure your night stays are very enjoyable. They are constantly upgrading the rooms to make sure they are perfect in every way.They are building a pizza restaurant right next door, so soon you'll have a place to eat right by your room.If your ever in the area, I would highly recommend staying at the Hillside Motel in Crawford Ne. It's super close to many attractions!!

SUPER CLEAN. Honestly the cleanest hotel I've stayed in. Not one strand of hair or dust particle to be found. Also, it was been recently remodeled. Room came with a microwave and fridge.Very, very, impressed. Will stay again.

Excellent motel. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. We came in late in the evening (8 pm) so checking in was a little unusual but it worked out.

Stayed there for 5 nights while we were in town hunting. Awesome family owned motel, the owners were very helpful in all aspects from our hunt to where to go and eat . Beds was like a 5 star hotel , hot shower and very clean. I recommend this motel to anyone stopping in for a night or a week you want be disappointed.

Simply the best. Clean rooms. Very quiet and amazing brand new beds. Slept like babies. Carl and his wife have done great things here. We look fowarded to stopping in again. Very nice experience For us both. Mike and Angela.

The new management is fantastic. I highly recommend staying at this place. The owner went above and beyond our expectations and I will definitely be back if I am in the area. Clean rooms, with a fresh scent and right off a beautiful scenic highway.

I've traveled US 20 many times and have stayed in this motel once before. The new owners, Carl and Jennifer, have upgraded it with new beds and other improvements. The shower was perfect, plenty hot and forceful enough, which isn't the case in many motels. The owners are very friendly and sociable, which adds to the experience of staying here. The Motel sits right along US 20, the longest road in America. I highly recommend it to anyone passing through this beautiful Sandhill country of Nebraska.

Great place,Nice people, clean rooms!! Newly renovated and fair rates. Its not easy to find accommodations around Crawford so when you get a room at Hilltop Motel the convenience alone is a blessing!!!

This motel far exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend staying there again. Very clean and great hosts. We were on a hunting trip and it was very close to lots of Public ground

My brother and I were cycling through the area and choose the Hilltop for a night's stay. Glad we did. The rooms were a good size allowing us room to get our bikes in out of severe weather. The room was spotless and the beds were comfortable.Jenny even called us late morning while we were on the road to make sure we were aware of the forecasted storms. Now that's Midwestern hospitality!

We were going to drive to big box hotel and so glad we didn't.This motel is so cozy and clean. The staff is very friendly. We were very happy they offered modern conveniences such as flat screen TVs with USB and HDMI hook ups and WiFi that worked great as my phone signal was weak. Would highly recommend

Very expensive for the area and the time of year! They charge $37.50 per day for "amenities " when asked what the amenities was, they responded the fridge, tv, microwave! Really! Only rented them. Didn't need to buy them. No refund for any early checkout. Would not recommend this place.
