Jeff took great care of my car and addressed all issues and concerns I had. He was honest about the work, price, and the outlook of certain parts. The drive after it was worked on was such a significant improvement from how it was when I brought it in. I will absolutely be returning for any additional maintenance that my car needs.

I needed an oil change before a six hour drive to Missouri. I called my regular mechanic qbout two weeks before the trip, but they were booked out till the end of December. I had never been to Omaha Car Care but it's a few minutes from my house, so I called them. They were able to get me in a few days before our trip. The lobby is clean and pleasant, the service was great. I waited less than an hour, and paid under $50. Will definitely be going back!

Jeff at omaha car care was the best. Its not often in this world you are met with such kindness. On a very cold day three ladies had a flat tire. Waits for service was hours long. Jeff helped us and was so attentive. We will be back for all our car service needs. Thank you Jeff!

Had a flat tire just at the Primo s parking lot across the street from Omaha Car Care. Triple A told us it would be a 2 hour wait! We called Omaha Car Care and explained situation to Jeff. He immediately drove across Center St with an air compressor, filled tire and we drove over to Omaha Car Care. Jeff settled us(my sister , myself and our 85 year old mother) in the comfortable and very clean waiting room. Jeff fixed the tire, checked the fluids and sent us on our way. 10 out of 10 customer service will definitely return for any car care needs!

OCC is awesome. I don't know much about cars in general, but they always treat me with respect, explain the situation on what's wrong with my car when I bring it in, and give me the options up front. I've been going to them for the past 5 years and they always get me up and running again.

I am newer to the Omaha area and stumbled upon this place to get my car diagnosed for a coolant leak. I am super pleased with the service I received today. Wonderful, trustworthy and easy going staff. Jeff deserves a raise for sure! Needless to say my appointment was at 10 am to just have my car diagnosed and not even a couple hours later my car is fixed and ready to go. Will definitely be back for all future repairs. Thank you!

Trusted them and handed over $3,000 to fix my engine light issue. Not 5 miles out of the shop my engine light came back on. I take it back so they can fix the issue, but they insisted this was something different and was pure coincidence. Of the 4 engine lights I've had in my 50,000 miles of driving this car, two of them are coincidentally 5 miles apart? The closest I got to a resolution was the mechanic saying "seems fishy, I know." They're good at what they do, but that's apparently not fixing my car.

Took my 2018 Chevy Trax in today 10/26/2023 for oil leak, shut engine off low oil pressure warning/light and knocking/clicking. Joel got me in quickly and even 30 minutes before appointment time. Found it was my engine oil pressure switch that was leaking got the part right away so I could be on my way. Him/staff helped me contact correct people to find out if my warranty was still in effect before starting. Ended up being cheaper with them since my warranty was expired. I will continue to go here. I was very impressed!! Great job guys!!Services: Engine repair, Oil change

I'm gonna say I hated it because the parking is horrendously horrible do not go here and plan on there even being parking I had to park on the side of the building and constantly had to move my car because other people were trying to navigate the parking as well. Took a truck in to be fixed but after receiving a price took it elsewhere. Go somewhere that has decent parking because just dropping off a vehicle here took a good 15 20 minutes.

I went in for a tire air leak issue, and it was my first time been here. The rep was very nice and I can tell very good at his job. I came later in the afternoon to pick up my car, and he said it s FREE. I m impressed by that, so I think I will come back for any problems with my car.

Have a 2001 Infinity QX4 with 190k on it. Jeff went over my options and priorities. Agreed upon plan and price. Was completed including ordering parts in 3 hours. Going back when I'm ready for finish of plan. Thank you Jeff and crew. Nice clean waiting area or a Scooters coffee dine in shop next door at 60th and Center St, Omaha.

I don t know, I want to like this place because it s so close by. The pros are that they are pretty fast and you can get your car back within the day. The loaner cars are convenient. Got a tire rod fixed with an alignment (I was really hoping it wasn t the tire rod), for a little over $500. Which, eh, slightly high but I figured they had to cut something due to my weirdo car. Falsely diagnosed brakes going metal to metal , which, while worn for sure they were not grinding . Alternator quote was $1,100. Uh, oh my god? That s expensive. My brother who works at a Honda dealership in Kansas City said that was close to the limit they would charge for one. That s 20% of the cost of my car, for an alternator! Got it fixed in my driveway for less than half that. I understand I drive an uncommon car, but as a young woman who s driven POS cars for the past 7 years, I can just really tell when I m being misled or taken advantage of. It s kind of obvious. I don t know, I m buying a better car soon so maybe they d be more reasonable with a more common car so I m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that it s just difficult to work on my beat up suzuki I bought in an act of desperation. However, be cautious and maybe stick to the more simple repairs done at this place, and get a second opinion cause you might save a good chunk of money.

Really great customer service. I took my car here after another shop messed it up. They did a thorough inspection and gave me honest feedback. I will definitely be back. With both of my vehicles.

They totally tried to rake the prices on my cause a fuel sensor went out. It was about 700 and according to Fixit licensed and educated, they told me it should not have cost me more than 400. I busted them adding additional labor hours because of the time they call about my truck is being looked at then 15 mins later it was a oil or fuel sensor and then it was ready 45 mins from that last call. Well that in no way came to 3.5 hours of labor. Whatch them and call them on what you know is wrong or different. I will be watching them closely next time.

I had to do some minor maintenance on my vehicle, and I happened to strip a screw in the process. What turned into a minor 5 minute thing turned into an hour. I stopped in during a Friday afternoon when it was busy as hell and the waiting room was full. I told the gentleman what I did and how dumb of a mistake it was. He joked and told me it happens to the best of us. Then without any hesitation and a smile, he grabbed some vise-grips, and pulled the screw out in less than a minute. These guys rock! A big thank you to that gentleman who had helped me out.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Excellent customer service! Very knowledgeable, and explains everything before any repairs are made! I finally found a place to take my car and can trust I'm not going to get ripped off due to my lack of knowledge about cars!

Took my car somewhere else and they messed up putting my skid plate back on. Jeff Johnson was great over the phone explaining to me potential issues/fixes. Took my car in and he put the skid plate back on and fixed it completely free of charge. First experience here and will be going back, very trustworthy and great experience overall.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I used to take my late mom's car here, and they earned my trust pretty quickly after they sent the car home with a $0 bill on two different occasions. She was paranoid about car things, and on those two occasions they checked everything out and explained that there was simply nothing wrong with the vehicle. Didn't charge us for their time, even though that would have been fair. I now take my own vehicles here, and they never try to upsell you. Straightforward service and quality work. For me, it's invaluable to finally have a go-to service shop that I can trust.

Brought my daughter's car in because the left front was making an awful noise when turning or going over bumps. They replaced both front struts and sent my daugher on her way. She called me immediately after leaving the shop and said the same noise was still present. I told her to take it back, which she did. The tech then rode with her and said the noise was simply the new strut - it needed to be be "broken in". Since that's not a thing, I insisted that they take it back and fix the issue. They replaced the left strut AGAIN and sent my daughter on her way. Needless to say, the noise came back AGAIN. I brought the car back again to have the noise addressed. They finally replaced a control arm bushing which aleviated the noise. So we essentially paid to have struts replaced that did not need replacing.On a separate occasion, I brought my son's car in to get an alignment. The alignment was fine, but my son said that after driving the car for only a few blocks, it started making a loud clunking sound. He called the shop and told them about it and they said they noticed he may have a bent strut (apparently they really like replacing struts). I drove the car back to the shop to have the noise addressed. It was quite terrible, and I was unsure I was even going to be able to get the car there. Turns out the lug nuts on one of the tires were loose. The nuts were tight when we dropped the car off (there was no noise). My son drove it a couple of blocks after picking it up from the alignment and suddenly there is a noise. They denied having loosened the nuts and charged us for new posts and lug nuts because they had been stripped from the limited driving that had been done on them.I had high hopes as this place had been recommended by a trusted source. Considering how high priced they are, I would expect better diagnostics and professionalism. Will not be returning for anything.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Transmission repair, Oil change

They are the friendliest, most trustworthy repair shop I've ever used. I'll never take my cars anyplace else. They do great work and they always keep the customers budget in mind. Didn't even charge for the last quick fix. I'm a customer for life.

My family has been using them for years bc they are honest, and affordable. They don't charge exuberant prices, and aren't worried about getting every penny out of you with unnecessary repairs you dont need.

Jeff is a great guy! I took my car in because I thought I was hearing a sound, they looked at it and saw that nothing needed immediate attention. In these times that is great to hear. They also gave me a loaner to get to work this morning. I will definitely be recommending them to family and friends. Omaha needs more honest businesses like the people at center st car care. Thanks again!

Car.Care on Center St Omaha is one of the best in my books. Picked up something in my tire and was 50 miles from home. Pulled in randomly an hour before they were closing and they fixed the tire with a smile and were very helpful to me. Kind and thoughtful and I'm back home and the tire is still up. Great experience ! I'll give them 100%

These guys really took care of me well. They showed me they were very familiar with my vehicle (Murano) and then gave me a good quote for the number of things I needed to get looked at or fixed. They had the loaner car ready for me early so I had time to make it to work. The prices are reasonable as well. Solid work done replacing my rear brakes and the engine mount. They even showed me the old part and the amount of play it had, which demonstrated the necessity of getting the part replaced. I appreciate that you guys took the time to educate me and walk me through my options.

While driving from Wisconsin to Colorado for the holiday, we parked a little too over a parking median and it ripped up one of the skid plates on our car and it was causing awful grinding and scraping noises. We called here to see what could be done and they got us in immediately, and secured the skid plate so we could complete our journey safely. Then they didn't even charge us for their time. It may not have been hard for them, but we were blown away by the kindness and honesty. We will be making this journey often and I know where we'll go if we run into trouble again.
