Omaha Car Care is AWESOME!! I stopped in on a Friday afternoon, with no appointment scheduled, to get a new tail light. They got me in right away, gave me a new tail light, without even charging me. All within 20 minutes & they were so friendly! I didn't think this kind of Customer Service existed anymore. Fantastic place!! Fantastic People!! They are my new Go To for my car service needs!

I travel for work and broke down about a block from the shop late in the day. The team was friendly and fantastic. I was able to get a loaner and the next morning faced a family medical emergency back at home. They were able to juggle things to get me car fixed and back on the road asap. I was very grateful and appreciated. To top it all off the next day they followed up to make sure I got home safely and followed up with genuine concern for my family s medical emergency.Experience was above and beyond any expectations. I would highly recommend to anyone and wish this level of service was local to me. Thank you again!!

A mouse or squirrel chewed through a fuel injector wires. This was the second time. Each time Omaha Car Care was there to help me and even gave me a loaner so my busy schedule wasn't impacted.Service Advisor was Awesome he even added a fuel injector cleaner for me in my gas tank so I didn't have to worry about spilling it on my truck. The Technician as always did a perfect job he even remembered to put my seat back in place. I have had only wonderful experiences with Omaha Car Care. The fees are within reason, and your a name not just a number they continue to offer exceptional customer service

Wonderful service, as they didn't try to sell me everything under the sun, rather told me what I needed and what really wasn't necessary. Having use of the complimentary loaner car was so helpful with my schedule. It's nice to have a place I can trust that isn't driven by commissions!

Jeff is amazing! Although they don t do tires, I had a flat tire and they were the closest auto shop to me and I couldn t get my tire off to put on the spare. They helped me replace the tire with my spare. They didn t even charge me anything! Thank you for your personable service. I recently had my car in for sensor/computer issues. There was a unforeseen problem from fixing the sensor that resulted in my vehicle being inoperable. Ed was great to work with and helped get the part I needed in ASAP and get me back on the road. The staff provided fantastic service and communication. I will be moving all my future car service appointments to Omaha Car Care.

Replacing and programming a control module isn't an extremely fun or easy thing to do, nor is it a quick or cheap procedure, but the folks here did an excellent job on my Ford Focus! The free loaner cars were a bonus when the dealer wanted to charge $35 per day for a rental. Keep up the good work!

Mike was really helpful with all the information I needed, setting up an appointment ~and yes, a FREE rental car to use for the day.Jerry did excellent work on my car that had several major issues, and stayed in constant communication during the day to let me know what was going on with my car. He help me to prioritize what should be fixed now and what I can plan for in the near future. Thank you gentlemen for all your help, my car is much happier and that means so am I!

I am all about the customer experience anywhere I go. If it is bad- no bueno-won't be back, so- so, I will go back cause the place has what I want or need. However,if my experience is great, I am loyal and true . Omaha Car Care on 131st and Dodge is fantastic. Everyone there is beyond awesome. They know what they are doing(at least I feel like they know what they are doing)lol.I won't take more time to tell my whole nightmare automobile story, but I called to ask them how much would be the charge on my Fiat electrical problem. I was asked a few questions told him what car was doing etc. He told me to bring it in and he would take a look. I asked the charge for diagnosing and he told me -no charge. Well let me tell you,just that one little gesture made me a loyal customer. While my car was being looked at I was offered a courtesy car overnight. (Once again, I'm sold) I got my car repaired then got rid of said car and now I take my new one to them for maintenance. (No major issues with my Honda so far)Give this location a try. Prices seem to be good/comparable and fantastic service. Yay!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto battery replacement, Oil change

Pretty decent price, went in for an issue with driver's door wiring with a pretty simple fix, found out later they'd just sliced open the housing and left it like that and here I am a couple months later having another issue with the same door wiring, and the original issue has started reappearing. Very disappointed.Turns out the entire repair has now fallen apart, as instead of replacing a wire it was simply wrapped back to itself and it loosened just months later and is now completely disconnected.

It doesn't really matter what part of the service industry you're dealing with, what you want is competency, a fair price and great service. Omaha Car Care on Dodge delivers that. They fit me in at fairly short notice, had my brakes fixed promptly and made me feel like my business mattered. And they spared me from any kind of up-selling, which always makes me question the sincerity of a vendor. I will definitely be going back for other services.

I can't say enough nice things about this shop. If you want a mechanic that won't over charge you, will fix it fast, is courteous, reliable and will greet you by name when you return - Omaha Car Care is the best. They've been keeping my cars running for 15 years, give my kids toys to keep them entertained and have never disappointed. I can offer no higher recommendation. Great people and mechanics.

I was viewing family over the holidays amas started having trouble with one of my tires. The employees at Omaha tire care took care of me like family. I was able to drive back with a peace of mind knowing my car was taken care of by their great employees.

OMG! This is my new favorite place for all of my car care needs! I had been going to a dealership for service but wanted a unbiased answer. The first time I went to Omaha Car Care I was told very honestly that the brand and model was not a very good car and that it would only cost more and more money. I knew I was needing a new car so I asked what type of vehicle did they recommend. They gave me a suggestion and I went the next day to buy one. I have been happy with it ever since. I appreciated their honesty. I took my new car in for an oil change today and told them that they will now be my go-to place for car needs because of their honesty and great customer service. Again, they provided me with great customer service. Did the oil change in the time frame the told me. They made me feel like a valued customer. I will never go back to a dealership again. Thanks Omaha Car Care!!!

I took my car here for a new battery, and I have never walked into a car repair shop as a female and not felt like I was being taken advantage of or talked down on. The workers here were so personable and honest. They got it in same day and had it done within an hour.

I took one of my cars in last week to have it looked at because I was told it needed new breaks. They told me it wasn't the breaks, and that it was the power steering system and some other things so it would cost $3100 (after taking off $900) to fix it. I bought this car back in February, so I took it to the place I bought it from and they told me I just needed the power steering fluid topped off. Neither the breaks or power steering were damaged. They were very surprised that a top rated shop was trying to sell me $3100 of nonexistent issues. And the way OCC described the issue, the place I bought it from said it wouldn't have been drivable had that actually been the issue.I'm so glad I got a different opinion.

I was traveling from Wyoming to Ohio when my car began to shake over 60mph. I called around to various places and got the run-around from most. Thankfully I found Omaha Car Care and they were able to fit me in first thing this morning! Not only were they incredibly helpful but I have never felt so cared for at a mechanics before. All the employees I interacted with were incredibly kind, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I am so grateful to have them help me in a timely manner and making me feel valued. 10/10 would recommend highly!Service: Tires

131st and Dodge St Omaha Car Care has worked on my SUV a number of times for varying issues related to my suspension, exhaust, rack and pinion and more. Ed and Mike have gone out of their way to work with me to fit my needs. They have located the best prices for parts and worked around my schedule to fit me in for my repairs. Also, they have provided a loaner car each time so I don't miss my work obligations. These guys know what they are doing and they are excellent at communication. Overall my experience with Omaha Car Care was poor. I had my car towed to them after having issues with the vehicle stalling at idle. I spoke with a couple of gentlemen at Omaha Car Care who had inspected my car and still were not 100% sure they knew what the issue was.However they wanted to "start off" by replacing my spark plugs, coils, and cleaning the MASS sensor. Total cost would be $1,170.00. After letting them know I cannot afford $1,170 for a "maybe" fix to my car, I took it to another shop. This shop told me it was my intake timing valve and that they would not be able to replace it there. So I finally took it to the dealership where my car was purchased and they also diagnosed the issue as the intake timing valve, and I spent just over $200.So now I was told by two other shops that the issue was the intake timing valve, but OCC wanted to charge me $1,170 for something they "thought" would fix my vehicle and had nothing to do with the intake timing valve replacement. This makes me sick that someone could pay that much money & still not have their vehicle fixed. I'm glad I was able to get a second and a third opinion and ended up paying significantly less. My car is running great now. I cannot give a recommendation for this business after this experience as I truly question their integrity.

Mike and his team were amazing to work with. Got my service scheduled and they had me out faster than expected. Was fun sitting and visiting with the guys. I have to say this place is amazing. They are honest and do not try and sell you on anything. I took my 2011 Buick Enclave in for an oil change and asked them to check out the car as it wasn't handling/steering like it should. They prepared a quote for around $7,500.00 of items that needed repaired. They said with 110,000 miles on the vehicle they would think long and hard about putting that much money into a car that is likely to have more issues come up. I appreciated their honesty and will take my new car to them for all of my car care and repair needs.Thanks for being honest!!

I was very pleased with my experience at Omaha Car Care. I needed an oil change, but also a check up on my car as it had been sounding different for a while. They were able to pinpoint the issue, but rather than telling me I needed to take care of it right away, they were honest about the fact that it was not an issue that needed fixing on the spot. Very trustworthy.

I have been to all of the House of Mufflers and Brakes locations in Omaha to have my car serviced. This location is the very best by far. They treat me like a valued customer every time. They explain what is needed for my car without pressuring me to purchase parts. They are always friendly and helpful. I recommend this location to all my friends and co workers. I know they will not be disappointed in the service they receive. I went to a competitor once, and only once. The service I received was horrible. I will never take my car anywhere but the House of Mufflers and Brakes on West Dodge Road.

I had a great experience at House of Mufflers recently when I needed help with my car. Tim (who is a wonderful and trustworthy guy to say the least) and his technician gave it a thorough inspection and helped me with my vehicle. They do more than mufflers and brakes there, not only were they helpful but they were honest and kind.Great job!

Why can't it be simple? If I know what I want done to my vehicle, why can't I call and say what's a generalized number, not an official quote, for doing X over the phone? I get it, if I bring my car in it has to go through diag, but if my cat got cut off, what's the part and standard labor to replace? Obviously if there's other stuff wrong, you'll let me know after diag, but it shouldn't be this hard to see what kind of numbers I'm dealing with .. would not recommend if they can't discuss without charging something.
