In 22 years that I have been in this country I have not found a repair shop with such honest and professional staff for the needs of my cars and in this place I found it and I totally recommend it 100% special thanks to Carlos, a great worker with A lot of professionalism and honesty is something that is rarely found in the Latin community in terms of mechanics, everyone tries to screw you more than you are and they don't leave your cars in good condition. I recommend you go to House of Mufflers, you will find great attention and Carlos will always treat you with respect.

Terrible service, My husband took his van in and said it was over heating, they wasted time checking everything else out and he had to tell them over again that he needs the fans checks, because it was overheating! Amber them they COMPLETE OVER CHARGED HIM!! We will never go there again!!!

Great customer service was a smile. Waiting area was clean. Services were done when they said they would be. I honestly can't remember all that they did but it was a lot. O2 sensors catalytic converter something that has to do with keeping the wheels in alignment and they did a wheel alignment and my air conditioner didn't work. It does now. Communication was good. Carlos, my first contact on the phone, was courteous and knowledgeable from the start. I wanted to bring in my 23 year old Subaru Outback in for an estimate. We set up a time for the next day.Dropped off car, got estimate of $280 for sheared bolts between manifold and exhaust, set up time for repair.Dropped off car for repair, got it back 4 hours later, had to replace exhaust gasket so increased price but knew going in things could change.Overall, great experience. Carlos was with me every part of the way, very impressed by the professionalism, friendliness and knowledge of the young man.I would go back, and recommend this shop to anyone.Many thanks to Carlos and anyone else involved in the repair process.Service: Auto exhaust system repair

This place is the main car shop I recommend to anyone, Carlos is the most descriptive and polite person that I ve ever spoke to about my vehicle and also found and solved an issue on my car that 2 other shops were beating around the bush about. Overall had zero issues with them as they gave me a one year warranty on everything they fixed. Great place.Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Battery, Oil change

I have without a doubt found my new place for car issues. My entire wheel fell off Friday morning because of a rusted out control arm, and by 5pm Friday night, my car was fixed and back in my possession. Carlos and the crew are really something else. So communicative and I absolutely love the breakdown of issues you get sent after inspection so that you can see what s going on. Great service! Very detailed. I like how they sent a very detailed inspection including pictures and asked what we wanted them to fix. They let us know the urgent problems, and future fixes coming up. Highly recommend!

I am so grateful to House of Mufflers & Brakes at the Leavenworth location in Omaha, NE. I had a weird gut feeling that the grinding noise from my rear left tire was a bad sign and desperately wanted it to get checked out before I drove home to Kansas City for Thanksgiving break. They were the only ones who could get me in same day, and I'm so thankful for that. Turns out my wheel bearings were so loose that they don't think my car would have made it to Kansas City. They quoted me a fair price for the repair of both wheel bearings, both rear brake pads, and both rear rotors and were able to do the whole repair in time for me to still drive home to Kansas City that night. My biggest thanks and appreciation for these guys. Can't recommend them enough!!!Services: Auto brake repair, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Auto brake replacement

These people will never get my business. We blew a tire on the exit next to this business. We parked on their lot to see what we could do. A couple minutes after they saw my boyfriend and I park our car, a man came out yelling at us to get off his property. I feel that the smartest thing for him to have done would be to offer his services since we were just discussing what to do. He was rude and wanted nothing to do with us. It seemed as this man had no morals and had no intention of trying to help us in any way. That is not the way to run a business. I was very shocked and displeased with the way we were treated. I will never recommend this place to anyone. A business does not simply run on whatever skills they have in fixing cars but on their attitudes towards people as well.

I took my car in last week to because I was experiencing a loud humming sound, and I thought it could be my exhaust. The level of service I received was above and beyond. The issue turned out not to be my exhaust, but they diagnosed exactly what the issue was. Even though they were not able to fix it at their shop, they told me what exactly I needed fixed, how much to expect it would cost, and who in town might be able to help me in short order. They also fixed something that was causing a rattling noise. They did all of this for NO charge. I was astounded, almost nowhere these days will do things like this, and I found it amazingly helpful. I very much appreciated the kindness, professionalism, and insight regarding my car. Thank you so much!Service: Exhaust

"Shot in the Dark"...Google it and went off the reviews. I was satisfied with the service, Dan was alot of help and high fives to the mechanics. Prices were decent...time of repair depending on whats being done i would say about 4hrs. Overall good experience....coming back!

Took the car to fix the heater and they told me the issue was radiator leaking and water pump not working so they replaced the radiator and the water pump, this plus labor the total was 1.6k but guess what, the problem was not fixed and now I have an issue with the engine. So mad.

I was really impressed with how quickly my vehicle was done. I brought it in shortly after opening and it was done within a few hours of me letting them know the work could be done. I was really glad to know that they do have military/veteran discounts. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends/family. Completely satisfied with the work done.

They quoted me $513 for a used tire. They said: do you want to finance for a $513 used tire? Do you want to finance for that? If so, this is the place for you.

I have taken a couple different cars to these guys over the last couple of years and each time I have they have been very upfront and honest with me which is quite refreshing. Normally I get the run around because I am a female and they have never tried to take advantage. Sean is great each time I go and he lets me know the status of what I need within an hour even if I show up with no appointment. They are willing to go the extra mile for their customers and that is a rarity these days.

I had a good experience with them until I decided to do the brakes myself.I got a free brake inspection done by Sean I think it was. He was friendly and personable and informed me that my front pads & rotors needed replacement. He said that my rotors were too thin for resurfacing/smoothing and were warped to boot. The price tag was nearly $300 for parts and labor so I decided to get off my lazy butt and do it myself. Got the parts from an auto store and went to work. To my surprise, my rotors were absolutely fine. The brake pads did need to be replaced but my rotors were not warped and they had girth on them to last them a smoothing (or several, as they seemed just fine all around!). So after replacing my pads, I took the rotors back to the auto store and all in all spent $20 + 1 hour of time to replace my front brakes instead of the $300 House of Mufflers and Brakes quoted me. Sean, my rotors are not in any way warped or thin so you have lost any potential business from me. I read that the House of Muffler and Brakes prided themselves on honesty but I can vouch from this experience that this claim is undeserved.Moral of the story: Do your own brakes or at least get a second opinion because they are possibly not being completely honest.

I love the manager here, he's awesome. Super friendly, fast service, and not super pricey. I've been here more then a couple times now and it's the only place I will go now for my car care needs. Thank you house of mufflers and brakes.

I call to see if someone still work on my car a while back Tom refuse to tell me the name the mechanic and he was so rude I refuse to answer. I kept greeting him with a good morning refuse to ask back. What do you need mama. I hang up. So therefore lost our business.

I had a great experience on the phone and in person with this place. After calling a bunch of grumps, the manager Sean was a relief. They took a part I brought in and welded it up quite nicely... and fast!Thumbs up.
