Allen and his team are professional, honest, kind, and not aggressive at all. Not once have I felt pressured to have something fixed right then and there. I m always told what s important to fix now and what can wait. I have been taking my vehicles here for at least 15yrs and now I trust them with my teenagers car. Great prices too.

I have taken several vehicles here and never had an issue. Price is reasonable and the service is good. There are fewer and fewer shops like this, good customer service and a fair price. Recommend. This is the one at 89th and Maple, i haven't visited the other locations.

I love this place! Hands down the best experience I ve ever had at a car shop, specifically regarding how I was treated as a woman. I ve had an issue with my car for three years that I was always told there was nothing I could do about, but Marty did some digging and found that there was a class action lawsuit for my exact problem! He actually explained the problem and process to me and helped me come up with a plan to talk to Hyundai. Thanks, HMB!

Booked an appointment for an oil change on my plow truck. Martywas very accommodating and the staff did a great job getting me in and out in a reasonable time. I had a rather disappointing experience with House of Mufflers at their FortCrook location. While the group of men working there were nice, I found the corporate manager Dave to be horrible and unpleasant to talk to.In 2022, I visited the Bellevue location to have an AC unit installed in my 2011 Buick Enclave. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a costly endeavor. Less than 8 months The AC unit started leaking again in 2023. I reached out to the corporate manager Dave at the Maple location to explain what had happened, hoping for a resolution. However, instead of addressing the issue of the improper installation of the AC unit, he shifted the blame onto me, insisting that they could never work on my vehicle again due to my use of a can of freon, even though the freon had leaked out. He refused to use their machine to charge or inspect my vehicle's AC unit. Not only was he heartless, but he also failed to offer any form of compensation, not even a free oil change. As a result, I feel like they completely robbed me of $1,200.00!Based on this experience, I have decided never to set foot in any House of Mufflers location again. I will also no longer recommend this company to others. It is incredibly disappointing and fraudulent for them to dismiss what they did and leave me feeling helpless. It is my hope that this person will face the consequences of their actions.May the wrath of God bring challenges in various forms, such as difficulties, hardships, conflicts, risks, or even negative outcomes. I mention this for clarity purposes, to highlight the consequences of unethical conduct and the emotional harm that has arisen. My AC unit is still in need of repair due to the cost, and unfortunately, I am currently unable to afford the repair. They may not fully understand the financial burden they have placed upon me. May God intervene in this situation in a just manner so that it can be resolved. **God have your way with this wicked person**

I had such a great experience working with House of Mufflers & Brakes. They did such a thorough and prompt job with my vehicle. But on top of that, the customer service was top notch. I had the pleasure of working with Marty and I felt like I was being taken care of by a family friend. Cody Brown is the best mechanic you can ask for. No pressure to do things your car doesn't need. He fixes what is wrong, tells you what else could be done, leaves it up to you. He's incredibly knowledgeable and one of the most skilled mechanics I've ever had.

First time coming to house of mufflers and it was a fantastic experience. He showed me everything they found on my vehicle with words and pictures and let me decide what and if I wanted to fix it today. I did and it was half the price of another competitor. I contacted House of Mufflers about a rattling I was hearing from the rear when I hit bumps and when I backed up. I told them I shook the muffler, and it rattled, but Im not sure if that the problem. They set up an appointment to look at it. The mechanic came out and drove it in the shop while I waited in the lobby. I could hear the noise from inside the lobby, so I know he heard it. After they inspected it, I was told that the noise was from the bad rear muffler and from the middle muffler, and it was leaking exhaust. I let them change both out a few days later. When I picked my vehicle up, it was backed in. The guy at the counter said it's all ready and should be really quiet. I drove back to work, and on the way, I hit a bump, and the rattling was still there. Backed in at work, and noise was still there. I contacted them, and he said to bring it back in. I couldn't that day, and it was on a Friday. I got home and started inspecting myself and found the sway bar links were bad and that the emergency brake shoes were bad. I replaced all, and all the noises stopped. I didn't need to spend almost $900 on mufflers that wasn't even the problems, but they said it was.Update: The Operations Manager Dave Bettger contacted me and got some info Jan 2nd. He called me Jan 5th. He said that they should've done an inspection the first day I brought it in, and that was their fault, but he kept saying it was miscommunication on both sides. What? How? He tried to blame me for them not inspecting my vehicle like they supposed to have done whenever they get a car in the shop for repairs as he said they do. Then he tried to take that back when I said there isnt a both sides. He even admitted that even though my mufflers needed replace, they had nothing to do with the reason I brought it in. He said the inspection was completed the second time I brought it back for them to do the muffler replacement. What? He had the nerve to say I dont know what you think I can do to help this situation. I told him there's no more reason to talk and hung up.

House of Muffler and Brakes was awesome. Dropped my truck off for a basic muffler repair and the techs at Muffler and a brakes did a complete car care inspection! Complete with pictures and video. Marty at the front desk greeted me as I walked in the door! Very friendly! Prices are great! 5 stars!

The guys there are amazing! They don't go the extra mile, they go the extra 100 miles to help a customer. I've had my vehicles serviced, tires & repairs here fir about 4 years now so when my check engine light came on they got me in the same day & ran a diagnostic. Not only did they identify the problem, they also researched the issue & found that there us a class action lawsuit against Audi for this very issue & then went on to tell me what I needed to do to get the repairs. They ran my service history for me to take in to Audi along with their report. Marty even called to follow up & make sure I knew they are there to help me if I need it. On a scale of 1 to 10, these guys are off the charts!Service: Oil change

The guys at House of Mufflers and Brakes are excellent. They are honest and trustworthy. I was having issues with my car using oil too fast and they found that there was a recall on my car that helped me get a new engine. I will go to them for everything!

I travel between states for work. I m a traveling Respiratory Therapist. On my way from Kansas, to Nebraska for my next assignment, I noticed my car was making some weird noises that I haven t noticed before. So I stopped in to have it looked at. Marty was awesome. I thought it was wheel bearings and I was prepared to pay them to have them replaced. But, they showed me that the bearings are fine, and it s just the tires cupping, that s causing the noise, and highway speeds naturally make it louder. They also showed me what needs to be done to fix it, and how much it would all cost when I decide to do it. An honest mechanic seems hard to find these days. He could ve easily added wheel bearings to the list of things to fix my car. I appreciated their honesty, and I will be going back to them when I need work done in the future.Service: Vehicle Inspection

DON'T GO HERE!!! I gave this place a one star and they basically replied with "What is your problem now? We did warranty work on your car for free." Lol, you should do warranty work on my car for free, don't act like you're doing me any favors, when you put bad parts on my car. I had to replace another part you put on my car because that part went bad as well. This place uses cheap parts, I Googled the part numbers, they have bad mechanics and their prices are horrendous. These guys charged me $355 for spark plugs they charged me $52 per plug when I can get all four oec spec spark plugs for $51 and then they charged me over $100 for labor when it doesn't even take 15 minutes to change spark plugs. I could go on but this place isn't worth any more of my time! I strongly recommend anybody reading this review go to Lantz Brothers down the street, they are excellent mechanics, they are very honest, they are decent priced and they won't try to scare you by telling you 20 other things are wrong with your car every time you go in there!

Not my first visit to HOM. They replaced AC condenser, radiator, hoses and belts. Got me set up for safe summer travel. Went in for an oil change and thermostat replacement. It was explained to me that the radiator fluid would have to be changed a long with an inspection of my radiator hoses due to my van having over 100,00miles. Since I was getting ready to take a cross country trip I opted to have them changed out. ( I wouldn t have thought of it myself glad they did) during my multi point inspection they noted my brake and steering fluids look dark and in need of replacement. I opted to have them changed out. The whole time never feeling any pressure to get these services done. There were a couple of small things like light plate bulbs out that I had them take care of. I really like the inspection process that s texted to your phone letting you see with pictures, what is going on. From the moment I was greeted by Marty to when he handed me my keys I knew I was in good hands. Thanks for a job well doneService: General repairs & maintenance

Though I declined the repair because of the age of the car, it was still a great experience. They gave a detailed report of what was wrong with the car. Marty was a pleasure to work with. We wlll be back!
