Best glass company in town! They have worked on my vehicles and installed mirrors on a home gym. I have also done other work for this family owned business and they are fantastic people! If you have an RV or large vehicle with glass damage in Omaha. These guys are the pros for the job!

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!I needed to get my windshield replaced due to a small crack. I had an appointment scheduled and they didn't even take my car in until 3-4 hours after that. Trish said they couldn't do it because it was raining, if they did it at the scheduled time it would've been done.Trish rescheduled me to another day, and again it was raining so they couldn't do the repair. However, the technician touched my car/windshield (although they couldn't fix it that day) and made the crack larger AND created a new 6-8 inch crack (See photo). They didn't even bother to let me know, I realized when I picked it up.At this point, I asked Trish for a refund and wanted to go elsewhere. Trish told me that isn't necessary and that she'll get manager approval to give me a partial refund. For some reason I agreed to this.They installed the new windshield and Trish said I'll be receiving a $200 refund within 5-7 days. It's been 1 MONTH and there is still no refund. I call consistently and ask the status, Trish keep saying it's pending, it'll post in a couple days, and that they've switched vendors so it's taking longer than normal. No one in their right mind, knows that it takes over a month to receive a refund. It's now to the point where whenever I call Trish sends me right to voicemail and Matt, the owner, won't even speak to me.THIS BUSINESS IS PATHETIC AND HAS NO INTEGRITY. STAY AWAY!

Firstly, popularity is for those. Who love life's worst experiences. Who be not found. Like, the old man and his grandson sitting at a table for a modest supper. They upon life's reflection did. It might be from the same artist. Whom crafted the banjo lesson.Keep, the mousetraps.For these mechanics, service was not done.Because, an appointment was not made.One must form his own opinion.The norm is who he his for vehicle maintenance.

I went to the shop. They gave me an appointment to bring my car in to be seen and discuss the repairsI came at the correct time. The gentleman came to my car. Looked at it for less than a minute and then asked me to make another appointment when he had more time to look at it. Neither of these employees seemed to care much about getting my business. I won't be making another appointment.

I had my window compromised when somebody tried to break into my truck. I needed the window repaired somewhat in a timely manner as I had a job, whereas, Glass Doctor had me scheduled the very next day. In addition, they were considerably less in price than three of their competitors that I called. They were very professional and courteous and would definitely recommend them.Eric Dougherty

I had a rock chip in my 2021 Gladiator Mojave and called Glass Doctor of Omaha. The service was fantastic, stopped in first thing in the morning and was out the door with the repair completed in 30 minutes. The staff was super helpful and got me in quickly even though I technically didn t have an appointment. I will be back for all of my future glass needs! Thanks again!!

So far so good. Fast easy appointment. Professional and friendly. Place is clean. Bathroom doesn't stink. Only downer was additional fees once they started the process. Website has discounts and other small offers.

Got a great repair job done yesterday. Highly recommend and it only took an hour on the dot! I wasn't able to get the glass cleaned up before taking it in, due to my car being broken into, and they cleaned it up for me! Great service and you won't be disappointed. Location is also a bonus due it being right across the street from a library. Kill some time and read a book or just have a comfortable place to hang until repairs are done.

We have always had good luck coming to the Glass Doctor. They were able to put two windshields in our two vehicles within a days notice. They even cleaned our vehicles out for us. Good price and fast service.

Worse experience ever. I had a cracked windshield replaced at Glass Doctor (South 132nd street in Omaha) on a '22 RAV4. After the windshield replacement, there was a creaking, clicking, popping noise every time car driven, sounding like it came from the drivers side top of the windshield. Took the vehicle back twice for technicians to look at. Both times the technicians could hear the noise but not resolve the problem. The first time the technician tried to adjust the windshield cowl, which is under the hood and not at the top of the windshield where the noise was coming from. The second time, a different technician said the noise was coming from under the dash, and thus wasn t Glass Doctor s problem. This was illogical since the noise started after the replacement of the windshield. I asked for the owner to call me, but was never called back. I eventually got ahold of the owner weeks later, and upon expressing my dissatisfaction and requesting that the warranty be enforced, was threatened and made to feel like I was the problem. The owner said he d have to look at it, but based on the second technicians review, it wouldn t be their problem. The owner refused to schedule time to see me, saying he was too busy on other more important projects, and to instead try to call him back in a few weeks. This after the owner threatened to be a problem for me.Fast forward a few weeks, and the problem is resolved thanks to Safelite. Luckily my insurance provided an in-network warranty on the work. Safelite replaced the windshield and found that it had been installed incorrectly, with urethane adhesive deficient in some areas and not applied properly in others, allowing the windshield to rub against the car body in some areas. The Safelite technician showed me the prior windshield and the problems causing the noise, and couldn t believe the poor quality of work.Do not use Glass Doctor for a windshield replacement. Poor quality (or rushed?) work, they won t own their work or honor the warranty, and the owner will threaten you if you are dissatisfied. Do yourself a favor and use Safelite instead. I couldn t believe the night and day difference between the competence, ownership of work, and professionalism of Safelite versus Glass Doctor.

Ally and her team were absolutely wonderful! My son was visiting Omaha when our car was vandalized and the back window was smashed out. Unfortunately the "item" used to break the glass bent the frame by the window and they weren't going to be able to install the replacement glass without having body work done. So from a mother's standpoint, 500 miles away, the question was, how do I deal with that situation? But no worries! Ally was all over it. God bless her and the entire staff of Glass Doctor! They have a friend that does body work, so she and her team arranged for the body guy to come to their shop the next day! My son was able to get everything done in one spot! I'm quite certain that Safelight wouldn't have been able to do that for us or would even be willing to help out a family that way. Not to mention that price for the glass was hundreds of dollars less than the quotes I received from the corporate companies in the area! I cannot sing their praises enough! What a wonderful group of people that were looking out for their fellow humans! They have gone above and beyond what anyone would have done!! THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! SPECIAL PLACE IN HEAVEN FOR THESE FOLKS!!!

They replaced my windshield and recalibrated the safety equipment on schedule as promised. They will even repair rock chips for free during the first year. Great job!

I couldn't find a new sunroof for my vehicle anywhere. I called here and the receptionist Trisha found my glass in 15 mins and had me scheduled within 48 hours. I was thinking it would take an hour or 2 but they brought me my keys in under 30 minutes. FANTASTIC FOLKS

Update: We were able to get the window serviced finally. However, Glass Doctor kept our deposit for a new window (which was not needed per the technician) and also charged for the servicing...I attempted to call to get a refund from the office for our window deposit, but they did not seem to understand what I was asking for and said I'd have to wait for a manager that was not in the office. The window deposit should have been refunded as soon as we had our initial tech visit and it was determined that wasn't needed.Don't let them take a deposit without having a technician out.Original Review: I was able to get a tech out in a timely manner for a leaking window which was nice. Unfortunately, I was asked to place a half-cost deposit for a new window up front. After the tech visit it was diagnosed I didn't need a full window replacement. I haven't been able to get any answer or help on updated costs, timing, or refund if the service is less than my deposit since the technician visit over a week ago.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! I would rate this zero stars if possible. If you are reading this, do yourself a favor, use a different shop. I took my 21 Tacoma in because the left side of my rear window was broke. That was the ONLY thing broke when I dropped it off. I paid nearly $800 because they had to replace the whole window according to them. That s not the worst part after the window replacement took longer than they expected because the window was giving them some problems is when it got worse. When the window was finally installed, the receptionist told me over the phone that now the sliding window didn t work. She claimed that it was from broken glass getting in the regulator. For those of you who don t know, the regulator is located in a separate compartment, under paneling, on the right side of the truck!! Remember the left side of the window was broke. She then told me I d need to discuss with the tech when I get there because she couldn t explain it very well. When I talked to him, it was clear that they messed it up. Not only was my headliner damaged in numerous spots along the window but the regulator and cable were now completely unusable. His excuse was unforeseen circumstances and that they normally include this part in the bid of a new rear window. Why would you charge someone to replace a part that isn t broke?! Because you don t know how to reassemble a window that utilizes a regulator? It gets worse!!!! They inform me that I would have to pay for the new regulator. That they d eat the cost of labor but they re not paying for the part THAT THEY DAMAGED!! After playing phone tag with the manager/ owner (according to him lol), he was extremely rude and inconsiderate. He did not want to meet in person and did nothing to resolve this issue. Instead, he too said they d replace the part but I d have to pay for it. Why would I want you to put a new regulator in when you already damaged my existing regulator that was in perfect working order when I dropped off the truck?!? And why am I responsible for paying for a part that your company damaged?!? Absolutely terrible customer service and failure to take responsibility for your actions. I will tell every person I can to NEVER USE GLASS DOCTOR!!!

This place is a gem! I called this morning when I noticed a little rock chip and they were able to get me in right away. I walked in. They took my information and my keys and 15 minutes later they were pulling my car around and I was out the door.! They filled the chip and it looks great. The lady in the office was extremely friendly and kind. I learned this is a family owned business who truly do care about their employees. Round of applause for this company and the employees !!

The receptionist was extremely kind and got me in so quickly! They were done within an hour and the window looks great!The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that I wish they would have taken a little more time to vacuum up the glass in my vehicle. There was a couple places under the seats that had piles of bigger pieces left. Otherwise, I am very grateful for their service and would definitely recommend them to others.

I called Glass Dr they got me in the next day, for our broken back windshield.They were almost $100 cheaper than another shop.They took care of insurance, we paid nothing out pocket. Very helpful & friendly. We will definitely use them again.

Had a chip in the window for awhile. Saw this location when driving by. I stopped in and was able to get an appointment immediately. People were nice and the chip disappeared. Recommend them for this.

I called this morning to get a windshield chip fixed on my minivan. Tricia was able to get us right in and out! RJ got the chip in the windshield so tiny it was almost invisible!
